Scrubs have the cover of SOD. Kate tells Patrick while believing she's dying that her & Olivia have a secret-Sonny has a grown son. Patrick doesn't know what to do with this info. JT talks about Patrick turning down Robin's proposal as well.

Patrick says "I love you so much and I love you even more because you're doing what you think I want, but realistically, I've acknowledged you need space to protect your heart and lets keep it the way it is: You're a loving, single mother and me a loving, devoted, single father.' that's where they're at." Not again! "They've always been one step forward, two steps back. It's been in their backstory all along. That said, I do think they'll eventually come together. Oh hell this is why I never spill any info on this board because people twist what you say into something it never was. I said they're basically broken up after Patrick turns down her proposal next week. Patrick affirms that Robin's doing her own thing as a single mother and he's gonna do his own thing as a single father and he got that message loud and clear and he doesn't believe she really wants to marry him. I never said they were broken up for good. I never said there was never an engagement or wedding. I never said they start dating other people.
How long until they get on the same page? What happens between them during the break up.
basically broken up. They're not together as in committed but they're not totally apart either. She's gonna be a single mother and he's going to be a single dad and they'll politely co-exist and apparently occassionally screw each other when they want to. Honestly they're stuck at the hospital a lot working for the next while so nothing romantic or anything is coming.
