Chat Up:
chatup - an anon confirmed SoapNet would be opening up to basic cable, if that's true do you think it would change the look of what we see on the channel? Including NS3 (assuming they greenlight it)? TIA, and I totally understand if you don't know...
if the changes to SN go ahead then yes, the look of SN shoudl change - much more original programming
I wonder if we would then get the chance to get it here in Canada.
not likely. there are issues around canada's requirements for canadian content that the channel is not in a position to meet

About all the nonsoap buzz for NS2:
Network and show PR departments do not solicit articles. (That terminology doesn't even make sense.) What they do is issue press releases. All shows and networks do that on a regular basis. PR departments work full time spinning on screen and backstage happenings into statements that are released to the press with the hopes that they'll get free publicity. It happens all the time. What's notable about NSII is that quite a few of those press releases have been picked up by mainstream press. Whether you believe it or, that does mean something.

Have a good Sunday!
