Patrick gets the most POV in this little story arc. Matt is very blaise about the whole thing.
Matt basically is like "WHo cares? I've done fine without you guys so far. I don't need you now." Patrick is different. First he's furious with dad for cheating on mom and also he's furious because Noah used Mattie's death as an excuse for his alcoholism and to Patrick's way of thinking he must not have cared that much for Mattie to begin with since he cheated on her. Also, Patrick is intrigued by having a brother. He's like "Wanna go have a beer." And Matt is like "NO!!" But of course they will bond very quickly.
Matt knew right? Or are we talking about the actor choice of doing the scene?
Matt knew. Its part of the reason he came to Port Charles. He got offered the fellowship, the counterfeit drug ring was there and he thought it would be a good chance to observe his dad and his brother without them ever knowing who he was. Just out of curiousity.
Does Matt like Robin as sister-in-law?
He must. Robin is the one who convinces him that he should be open to a forming a relationship with Patrick.

I can. They love each other and are committed to each other. By the way Patrick initially turns downs Robin's proposal because of his daddy issues so I guess she isn't the only one with issues

oh and as Patrick is about to answer there pagers go off

No she asks Patrick over the loudspeaker.
No she doesnt.
Yeah she does and then his pager goes off before he can answer
They get up getting engaged in the apartment but her proposal is at the hospital over the PA

Uhh yeah Patrick is going to angst on whether he can be a good dad when he finds out about Noah and Matt. He freaks out and tells Robin he isn't sure he can do this and she has to talk him down and reassure him he is not his father and he will be the bestest dad ever, etc

I think Friday or monday. Still he freaks out and Robin has to reassure him and then she becomes his biggest cheerleader with Matt.
When he freaks does he go drinking at Jakes or anything similar?

Actually, just stepping in here, we have a fake ambulance insider. The original ambulance insider said this to me. I can link you to the post and they said it RIGHT AFTER they spoiled the Scrubs wedding and engagement stuff, so whoever is saying that J-Lex is done is someone pretending to be the ambulance insider:

I'm not really sure. I don't know what is planned for like Next March, or anything like that So I don't know real long-term. I know some stuff that is short term and some stuff that is long term and some stuff I don't know at all.

I said that Robin is going to tell Patrick, right after they are engaged, that she doesn't want any wacky hijinks at her wedding.
That's a shout-out to that term being used on the internet.
Robin tells Patrick they should get married before the baby is born. He disagrees. Then later on in the week he agrees, they get engaged, they start to get married, she goes into labor and then he wants to get married before the baby is born; hence, the crazy ambulance ride.

I don't think its permanently and I don't think its a lot of years. I don't know a lot of details but I do know there's going to be a funeral and we'll see that but we won't know who is dead and then we'll see the events leading up to it. That's about all I know about that. Its sketchy to say the best.
