  • Robin and Patrick are in the running for GH supercouple that deserves the most airtime on TV Guide Canada

person with the long list of spoilers...do you know how the scrubs date comes about.thanks
Robin wants to show Patrick that she can be about more than just being pregnant so they go on the date intending not to talk about her pregnanacy but just enjoy dinner together. Things don't go quite as planned. Laughing (source)

I don't usually say this, but I think some of this date stuff is
being over-thought.
Her pregnancy issues are normal ones that she's complaining about, feeling fat, having to pee all the time, etc.
She's trying to be normal while feeling uncomfortable as her body is changing.
It's nice, fun stuff.
I've heard it both ways that she does the asking and that he does the asking, so I can't say for sure who does it, but I can say he's the one who initiates the moment that would lead to the asking.
Thank you. I just need him to do some wooing here.
Don't worry, he does some pursuing of sorts.

Tuesday, March 25th -
Robin yet again faces Claudia's narrow minded views about HIV. Robin is amused when she watches an awkward Patrick trying to take care of a baby.
Thursday, March 27th -
Patrick thinks Robin's fears are unfounded. Johnny apologizes to Robin for Claudia's HIV prejudice.
Tuesday, April 1
Robin agrees to go on a date with Patrick.
Tuesday, April 3
Robin might be having second thoughts about being a single mother. (source)

FWIW Robin's answer to Patrick's why do you hate me is to tell him she doesn't and she was so so wrong to ever make him feel that way. She apologizes again for her behavior and says he did nothing wrong and this was all her. He tells her he forgives her. (source)

There are two incidents of babysitting. The second one is Robin watching Cam and Jake at the nurses desk and Cam runs off with her stethoscope. It is on 4/2.
Babysitting is an exaggeration of both incidents. Both incidents are happening at the nurses station/lounge and last a few seconds. (source)

Here comes some storylines curtesy for Bob himself
Robin and Patrick fans will be getting quite the reprieve for a while but look for a bit of back and forth in terms of romantic committment coming up. Also Guza does want to deal with the HIV pregnancy aspect of this. But that may take a backseat at times. Just a warning. (source)

more notes from the underground:
Again, I am not privy to storyline info. I do get tidbits regarding the show in general. And right now, Frons is desperately trying to get all three of his shows to appeal to a more "2008" demo. Last years big experiment was the Hospital and going with a Grey's type of push for the show. This year it will be more of streamlining if you will, much more focus on the mob. With this push, expect to see more hospital characters either go completely bye bye, or literally be pushed off the back of the stove.
Guza has finally convinced BF that special effects, action and adventure are what the audience wants, and what will give GH more of a youthfu and modern appeal.
Look for the Q's and the Hospital crowd to get even less airtime and for some of the contract players to go recurring.
While the HIV baby storyline is a go and will get press. It won't be a BIG story, and as of now, only RS is slated to return.
That's all folks, and if your fav is a mobbie, then congrats, you will most likely love the "new" GH. (source)

The hopspital is not being backburned. Frons was the one wanting the new writer from the UK, the mob and new writer do not go hand in hand. It would be mob lite and more romance and family. (source)

With Guza back, the show really won't change too much. It won't be all mob and no hospital. It will continue to be what its always been more mob than hospital but the hospital isn't disappearing like some make it out to be. (source)

Guza and Frons are morons. Is it me or didn't even The Sopranos finally end their series?? Mob anything is so out. As for their high tech and bridges falling down - stop jumping the shark. What fans want are consistent relationships between the people they like and let them struggle - just let them struggle as a team - not this on/off on/off again crap. For those kind of relationships, all of us can turn off the tv and call our girlfriends. Hello??? Soap Operas are fantasies - not glimpses of real life.

I completely agree with you chigirl about Guza and Frons. I am a Maurice Benard fan(Sonny) and I am sick of this mob storyline already. Where is the love in the afternoon?? Where is the consistensty? I don't dig this stuff right now. There is enough violence in the real world to watch it on GH.

I completely agree with both of you, the same story has been playing out for like 10-15 years. It's time to give the mob a rest. Obviously, when 3-time Emmy wondergirl Sarah Brown can't even save this old storyline, it's time to move on.
