It was quite a surprise to GH fans when it was revealed that Patrick's condom broke while making love with HIV positive Robin, and then after being seduced by a hot and bothered Leyla, he had a steamy tryst with the nurse in a hospital room. But Patrick never disclosed that he had been exposed to HIV, thus exposing Leyla as well. Even though we assume he had a condom packed away in his scrubs pocket, it too could have bust a seam leaving Leyla in a very precarious, if not deadly, position.
Irresponsible on Patrick's part? Absolutely. And GH plans to fix that vital mistake. "You are absolutely correct that this conversation between Patrick and Leyla should have taken place on camera, and this was a grave oversight on out part," admits JFP. "Patrick is a doctor and would never knowingly put his partner at risk. Rest assured we will address this issue in a future story beat.". A show's rep confirms that the scenes will air in late March or early April. (source)

Are you guys going bonkers over a date? While I won't go into specifics, the two grow closer and they might do the dating thing, but that isn't based on facts that I have at this time.

DYK do you know how TIIC are able to evaluate the viewers reaction?
GH and ABC do not have poll on their site, so what is there favourite tool to do so? Since focus group are mainly none regular fan?
No matter what anyone says, Disney gets the numbers on its network like all companies do and they are not pleased, especially knowing the other networks are doing relatively better than they are. In fact, they are livid at the idea that their soaps are falling like hotcakes in total viewers and the all-important demo year to year.
Will change happen anytime soon? No. Will it be done by Summer time? You can bet your ass.
Whose job is on the line? Frons can't stay here forever...

I think Scrubs will touch but it's probably a little early for him to be touching FC.
They don't even have Dr. Lee checking her out on screen. It happens off screen and then they have Robin cleaning up the mess Nikolas made in the OR. That's the next time we and Patrick sees her. He doesn't even stick around to find out what Dr. Lee says.
Does he blurt out the truth?
He does when he walks out with her to the nurses station. He asks for Dr. Lee to be paged. The next time we see them and he sees her she's cleaning up the mess Nikolas made.
Does anyone react to it? What happens with Nik and the scalpel?
