ABC press release: On the Thursday, January 15 episode of ABC's award-winning "General Hospital," Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) will rush into the operating room yelling to colleagues Dr. Monica Quartermaine, Dr. Matt Hunter, Nurse Elizabeth Webber and Nurse Epiphany Johnson, among others, to stop a pending surgery with a mysterious patient. Without giving away much else, the clock will be turned back nine hours and each subsequent episode for the next nine days will begin with scenes that will reveal more clues to what is about to happen in the hospital. On Wednesday, January 28, the reason for Dr. Drake's ultimatum to his staff will be revealed and, from this point through February, medical staff, patients and visitors will be affected as a major disaster will strike the corridors of the hospital and make its way throughout Port Charles. In addition, this medical crisis storyline will coincide with the anticipated return of Emmy® winner Natalia Livingston as Rebecca, an entirely new role, on January 15. Both announcements were made by Brian Frons, president, Daytime, Disney-ABC Television Group.

I have no current spoiler information but in the original version, there was an explosion that separated Patrick and Robin. Robin was to be trapped in an area with someone else.
Also, Robin was set to be a key figure "target". No idea if that is still valid.

Kimberly is only taping one day this week, while Jason is taping 5.

what does a little inconsequential Canadian have to do to get source?
I want one dammit.

I have a fondness for Canadians. May I be of assistance?
How is Robin involved in this crisis story?
Thanks.

Robin is separated from her husband, but not from the storyline and/or action.
operation is the result of matt's sibling rivalry with his brother patrick
patrick is over his head, exhausted, and worried
robin is separated from her husband
3-4 people will die including leyla
fbi agent/pinter will be around for several months
remnants of ns1, ns2, metrocourt (role reversal for patrick and robin)
fond of canadians

Patrick is the head man in the hospital crisis. Be must make some huge decisions.
Robin complicates things for Patrick, who is forced to take action
Matt and Patrick both try and play hero!

They are just taping the week of January 26 this week. Anybody having breakdown spoilers that extend past the week of February 2-6 are probably not legitimate and even breakdowns for that week are hard to come by. You know from the press release that the patient carrying the biotoxin is cut into at the end of the Wednesday January 28 show and that is when the biotoxin is released. Before that you have an hour by hour count up to that moment. You will have gala scenes on January 27. That is people arriving. January 28 is some being called away to the surgery and the surgery gone wrong in the last scene.
From January 16-January 28 they are setting up the tensions that will be the background for this crises. That means that those days aren't really centric to Patrick, Jason, Sonny, Carly. For a comparison go back and look at the week or two before the MC especially those last few days when the hour by hour started but Jerry hadn't taken the place hostage.
From January 28-Mid February Patrick is a featured player. He is the one in charge at the hospital during the crises as Monica falls ill with the initial biotoxin release as does Liz. Jason and Sam are also featured as they are trying to figure out who did this. Nik is also featured because of Rebecca's appearance on the scene. Robin does not disappear but remember I said above that the scenes in hour by hour count up is setting up stories for after the biotoxin is released so yes her PPD is an issue that makes her help not all that helpful.
There is a quarantine but people at the gala start fallling ill and they start going upstairs.
I am not answering any questions

I'm pretty sure Robin is going to lose her career and emma and Patrick when this is all over.
And I know she doesn't lose either. But, I guess we'll see in February.
They start off planning on going to the gala together but Patrick gets called up to surgery. Only Robin is at the gala. The gala is at the hospital.
Patrick and Robin are on their way to the gala when Patrick gets called upstairs. Patrick says to go without him. They both had planned on leaving Emma in the hospital daycare.
I don't think Patrick is going to be a supportive husband towards Robin's PPD once he makes things worse for him at the hospital.
No he really is but remember there are people dying and he is in charge
His wife could be dying. I get it. He has to pick between his family and saving other people. It is a tough choice but he obviously picks the patients.
No Robin isn't close to dying. Her help isn't that helpful so he has to make a choice to sideline her. It isn't that dramatic but he is the one in charge.
according to SID, they are seperated though, so how can he sideline her?
That SID article is not for the whole crises. They start off being separated but people begin falling ill at the gala so eventually everyone is sort of together. Think of the virus where people were quarantied in the cafeteria but made their way upstairs anyway.
So, Emma is exposed to the toxin also.
None the kids are exposed but it is a concern
Just a tip.
When a biotoxin is released, those who become ill must be quarantined. Hard to have scenes with those at the gala who are not sick if you are sick and they are not.
Dont expect Monica, Epiphany or Liz to have many visitors.
She doesn't put Emma in danger. Emma is at the daycare. Something she and Patrick agreed on because they were going to the gala. Matt is the one whose career is on shaky ground.
Does Patrick lock up Robin?
No.
what does he do to sideline her when her help becomes unhelpful?
Thanks!

They are good in a crises. He manages to convince her she isn't up to this right now.
I believe Patrick will blame Robin for staying at the gala and not going home when he gets called upstairs
He convinces her to go anyway. Thinks it will be good for her.

How does he sideline her?
He doesn't sideline her.
Any Robin details at all, please??
When the actual biotoxin stories starts on -1-28, Patrick are Robin are apart. It would be very difficult for him to sideline her when he doesn't even know where she is, and can't go look for her because he's been exposed to the biotoxin.
He knows where Robin is. She is at the gala and he knows she will be there.
I'm talking specifically know where she is. He can't get to her because of the biotoxin. So if he his sidelining her, he's doing it telepathically.

The crises after the bio-toxin is released lasts a few weeks. Robin is down at the gala for part of it but like everyone she eventually ends up stairs.

i can't figure out why Patrick would be so worrie about Robin and Emma. you'd think it would be the other way around.
I'll spell it out again. There is a bio-toxin that takes people out on exposure. He is worried it won't be contained and he should be because people at the gala start getting sick
