::Golden:
Soapzone spoilers:
Patrick discusses PPD with Carly, who went through it with Michael’s birth, hoping it will shed light on what’s been wrong with Robin, who’s living in denial.
Carly assesses Patrick’s situation with Robin, then strongly advises him to get her treatment, now.
Elizabeth experiences Robin at her worst.
Patrick discloses his concerns about Robin and PPD with Elizabeth.
Elizabeth stays on the fence about a specific diagnosis – Robin may have PPD, but then again maybe she’s just overwhelmed as a first-time mom. That doesn’t do Patrick any good.
Robin bristles at Patrick’s growing concern, taking everything he does and says as an insult.
Matt offers to operate on the latest patient, instead of Patrick, who’s preoccupied with concerns about his PPD-suffering wife.
Matt makes the costly error of rushing to operate without first scanning this patient’s charts.
Patrick somehow does scan this patient’s (Earl’s) charts, his x-rays, and feels a cold chill rush over.
Patrick stares incredulously at Earl’s x-ray which points to five spheres stuck in the stomach region.
Jason rings Patrick up right at that moment, to relay Agent Rayner’s request to interrogate a suspected terrorist admitted to the hospital. His name is Earl Bragg.
Patrick absorbs more information, puts two and two together, drops everything and sprints to the OR to warn Matt and the scrub team.
Matt has already cut into Earl when he slices into one of the five spheres, which emits a deadly biotoxin into the atmosphere. It turns out that Earl swallowed these spheres containing biotoxins to destroy as many people as possible.
Patrick pounds on the OR window as he helplessly watches his brother Matt, Elizabeth, Monica, Leyla, and others in the scrub team breathe in the biotoxin. Matt hurriedly pushes his scrub team toward the exit doors, but they’re already compromised and the OR itself bursts into flames.
The biotoxin makes its way out of the OR into the other rooms, taking patients down as it goes.
Agent Rayner orders a hospital lockdown, nobody gets in and nobody can leave. He’s forced to remain on the outs.
Donning a hazmat suit, Patrick goes into the OR, where this started. He assists some in exiting, and those who are out cold.
Patrick examines Earl’s dead body to determine more about these biotoxins. Earl’s stomach acids destroy the rest of the spheres.
Next week: Robin should never have taken her delicate condition for granted

why can't GH get good writers? And who is writing Robins' story - I know it isn't Guza
I actually think its Frons. Or more specifically, someone in his office did the research for the PPD story and it went 'through' Guza to the breakdown and script writers who are doing a good job with the info. I think quite abit of the Scrubs story has come from Frons and went 'through' Guza rather than actually being written by Guza.

This show can do all it wants but nothing is going to bring back the audience that it has lost GH has killed off it's vets and has lost the heart of what GH once was period. Any pairing at this point ain't going to save them period there is no effort in the pairings now nor will ever be.
I think TPTB agree with ya. so thats why Scrubs is up front and center and others couples are being swapped around.
IF you notice less and less of Maurice and Steve THAT WILL BE THE TELL TALE sign that mob is limited now and COUPLES are the way they writers are told to go.
Time will tell, time will tell.

Robin reaches her breaking point

Scrubs are fine.

Patrick is sitting there talking to Agent Raynor knowing that Robin, Emma and Matt may very well be dead. Obviously they aren't.
When you see how they are discovered to be alive, you'll know exactly how -'platinum' Scrubs are.
Is that a good thing for Scrubs fans?
YES!

The things posted here can be amusing but every once in awhile you guys do get it right.
What you are seeing at GH right now is 75% BF and 25% BG. That is what is happening and has been happening since the latter part of Sept. Changes were implemented at that time and writers were given a short period to accomplish those changes.
Once last comment, there are always numerous drops made about FG's here and on other boards. That is the most amusing thing of all, the actual data from FG's is only given out to a select few. Even actors and actresses aren't given breakdowns of info, instead they are sometimes told they did well, seldom are they told if they were received badly. The very last amusing thing is that couples, which generate so much conversation here, and at other boards, are seldom evaluated as separate entities. BF has also often acted against what these FG's promote as "positive fan interest" regardless if it is about a storyline or actress or actress or the rare couples.
Do you have any spoilers?
This is the only thing I'm going to tell you and then I'll be leaving the board (as last time I was here someone biggypacked my drops). This pre-sweeps bio-toxin tease is not indicative of changes coming to GH. The only thing that will change what is occuring on GH is if viewers tune out. Patrick and the hospital look to be a huge focus of the upcoming story, but GH is and will continue to be about the MOB, Sonny and Jason and the people in their lives.
Viewer complaints about the lack of love stories and romance are to be addressed with Scrubs and the return of LL2. These couples will be your couples. The younger set and the will they, won't they stories will be the love story angst with the Mob and those involved being the primary focus.
That is what you will see. I understand that many won't believe that, that is a good thing, but watch what is actually on your screens and then remember that you were warned.

It was felt the show needed to have at least some "perceived" happy families on the show, even it they are only a backdrop. Scrubs will be drawing both their families into their story and will drive secondary storylines on the show. LL2 will undoubtedly have much less airtime but they will be shown to be a "happy family" this along with periodic stories involving the hospital and the "families" to even include occasionally the Q's are hoped to satisfy fans on those fronts.

I love people talking about Scrubs being platinum and how great their storyline is? Has it or their wedding done anything for ratings? No I didn't think so as they did nothing for NS2 also,
The show has been about the mob for the last decade, and because of that the show has lost boat loads of viewers. Why would you think a wedding for a "B" couple would bring in ratings? As far as NS2, if you would like to share ratings, then share. The ratings were not published. NS1 lost more then half of their viewers due to storyline line decisions & basically pulling a bait & switch on viewers. TPTB realize that now, and unfortunately for them, not all the viewers came back to NS2.
As far as Scrubs being golden, that has nothing to do with ratings. It has to do with the fact that TPTB have no current plans to end them. This crisis story is not the beginning of the end as people like to say it will be. I understand fans of other couples may not like this. But this is just how it is. Their "platinum" status can change at the drop of a hat, but for now it is what it is.
Patrick knows everyone who was in the boardroom. He is in charge of quarantining them.
thank you
No need to thank me. I have no idea how this idea of "golden" or "platinum" got mixed up with ratings. It simply means they are pretty much the only couple on the show that TPTB see as a solid couple. That doesn't mean Scrubs will get airtime, or a great story or anything their fans may want. It means their status as a couple is solid.
That's all
IA. Thank you. I don't think Scrubs is a B couple on GH. I would say the A couples are (or were): Scrubs, Skate, CarJax, JoLu. Everyone else would be a B (or even C) couple.
They are a "B" couple, so is CarJax in the minds of the TPTB. Carly, however, is an "A" character. Scrubs airtime & storyline concentration never came close to Skate or JoLu. Yet they always perform better with the audience. Maybe their lack of airtime might help them.

Thanks-when does he find out Robin and Emma are missing?
Emma and Robin aren't missing for very long. Maxie/Johnny finds Robin and then Maxie/Johnny/Robin get to the van. All make it to the hospital where only part of the hospital is quarantined.

Patrick doesn't think his family is missing. Robin and Emma make it to the hospital by early ihe first week of February. He doesn't even know they got caught in the snow. There is a question after the fire about who survived but Emma is not part of that question. Robin is.
I'm confused. The first week of February is when Robin is cracking up and when she/Emma get in the van though.
Sorry. Meant the second week. I misspoke.
Can you say what the deal is with Robin being found in the snow and Emma being missing? Is she in the van, and where is Robin? Right outside the van or a ways away?
Emma is in the van because the van broke down and Robin had to go try to find help. The van isn't right next to her but it isn't that far away.

The airducts in the OR are mistakenly connected to the boardroom, which is why those two places are compromised, and why the people in each of those rooms are quarantined. The rest of the hospital should be okay...except the fire supposedly spreads to the 10th floor nurses station.

The gases that are released that eventually ignite to catch the nurses hub on fire start getting released this week. The fire isn't until later. Like every episode up through January 28 is one hour the episodes following are over a short but not defined time period.

I'm so loving this hospital crisis storyline, Robin's PPD and bio-toxins release. Scrubs a B couple? They're A rated with me, nice to see a couple with real issues, arguments and all. Scrubs rock!
