4/13 Heard in the Waiting Room

  • Here's an interesting concept proposed at SZ via a story on Jake Glaser (son of Elizabeth Glaser) in People magazine - Jake stopped taking HIV medication under the guidance of his doctor because he inherited a genetic mutation from his father, who is HIV-. It's called the CCR5 gene and it's helped prevent the onset of HIV because of the way the disease enters his T-cells. Would GH explore this possibility with Robin, especially since she's having a child? The Early Show interviewed Jake about 'this beautiful gene' which may have a role in finding the cure. You can watch the video here.

Afterglow is the most interesting aspect of the scenes.
Not CU (source of the above)

You do see some skin, I don't recall any moaning although I think there's some heavy breathing and the after glow is very realistic given then situation between the two characters.
Does that mean we get no afterglow but them being embarrassed for allowing it to happen?
I wouldn't use the term embarrassed.
They are in love. They made love. Neither regrets it but its very much an "Ok, now what?" and neither really has the answer to that question.
So is it another ONS?
I wouldn't categorize it in that manner. They are in love. They want to be together. They neither have any regrets. There's nothing like 'OH this shouldn't have happened, or anything like that." But its like, ok, yes we love each other, yes this happened because we love each other, but nothing else is changed. They still have the same issues they did before they made love.
I think Scrubs fans will like it. I found it to be a very well-written realistic scene.

For those who wanted to see Lelya cry, wait until you see her bitch to ric on how she thought patrick was over loving robin. Meanwhile scrubs can't keep their hands off each other.

Scrubs will be secure and no more plans of third partys.

Lot of discussion between heads and writers about needed changes in reaction to ratings slump
Look for more Scrubs, Luke, Diane, Monica

Liason is not safe, the only safe couple right now is Scrubs
Rewrites are occurring daily and the actors have very limited input into storyline (source of the above)

Johnny offers to give Robin a ride home as a show of good faith
Also since you seem to be a Rhonny fan, I'll give you one tidbit more on that spoiler. Johnny drops her to her door and guess who is already there waiting for Robin?

4/13
Thank you NYE. That tracks with what I have heard as well. Let me add the reason Scrubs are the safest couple for right now is network pressure. TPTB think they appeal to some segment of the audience (probably because of focus groups) and they feel that Guza played too fast and loose with that appeal

Sweeps is 4/24 - 5/21 (source of the above)
