12/8 Heard in the Waiting Room
- Soaps.com loves the Drake brothers and Robin/Maxie interactions last week
- This Daytime Confidential post suggests that the impending "death" of the soap genre is grossly exaggerated
- I'll be starting a regular Q&A feature with GH writer Karen Harris, coinciding with the promotion of her new webseries Life In General/Greenville General. I've decided to solicit questions from the fanbase to ask Karen, which you can do via the Scrubs board or by emailing them to me. I've set a few guidelines, which you can view on the Scrubs board post.
By clicking on ‘Read More’, you understand that you will be reading the latest Scrubs-related spoilers and speculations …some of which are pretty reliable and others may be designed to incite panic/false hope in a fanbase. Enter at your own risk!!
Special thanks to the Scrubbies relaying this information…here are the Spoilers and Speculations for the day:

What abut L&L2...are they getting back together.
Lye Air
Liz will find love in the most unusual of places, with someone who you wouldn't expect and it's not one of Noah's boys either, let's just say that she goes back to dancing on top of bars.
Do Scrub fans know your wedding date?
Nope. Just week of the 29th
For my Scrub fans.
It's 12/26.
Also...Matt overhears Pat asking Epiph to call him (even on Christmas) due to a patient of his. Matt then offers to handle the case so Pat can enjoy his first Christmas w/Emma. Pat agrees to it, then asks Matt to be his best man.
Robert arrives in PC and is happy to report that he's in remission and has his full strength back. Anna's hesitant to believe him, but he assures her it's true. Robin is also worried that Robert could be pushing himself too soon but Robert tells her to save the lecture as he wants to meet his granddaughter. Robin happily places Emma into his arms and inroduces them. Robert gets emotional, confesses that this moment – meeting his granddaughter – is what drove him to recover from cancer. Robin and Anna become emotional as well and Robin asks Robert to give her away.
Pairings that are safe
1. Scrubs
---The Wiggler
Unless there is a NS3 why would they be spared? Lucky/Liz weren't after they got married the first time. Hell Luke and Laura haven't been. Scrubs aren't special
You really want to know why? Scrubs won't be touched by any third party for 2 reasons at the moment. The first is because they're still awaiting confirmation on a NS3 and the second is because there's a lot of talk about both the actors chosing to not renew their contracts next winter. And if that occurs, the characters are set to be written out together with their baby.
Are we suppose to believe that?
No offense, but is this fact or spec?
It's what I've heard. Obviously the show cannot tanker with the pairing too much considering NS3 still may be a go and Scrubs would need to be in tact for that to happen. Also, the whole idea about Robin and Patrick leaving the show together if the actors both opt out of their contracts should not be a secret. It's always been the plan if the actors chose to leave at the same time. It's the easiest way for the show to write off 2 important characters and their baby. Do I know how they'd be written out-Absolutely not.
Seems plausible to me. Add in that Guza never seemed to have interest in Scrubs anyway, and if both have expressed a desire to leave when the time comes (and both never wanted to sign long contracts), Guza can just neglect them some more for their final year, NS3 excluded.
NS announcement should be in Jan of 2009.
What if they realize?....
this could be their last visit.....
but they dont want it to be....
they just dont know if they can still do this job...
and see their granddaughter grow...
12/8
Robin and Patrick enjoy a domestic lifestyle.
New Year outlines:
Scrubs - Marriage troubles, Guza has been given the go-ahead for a full-blown PPD story.
