Soapnet GH 2009 Preview
Want more "General Hospital"?So ... basically, the most important thing you need to know is that January on "General Hospital" is going to be COMPLETELY INSANE. In a good way! On the agenda is a huge "Sweeps"-like event ... and it's not even Sweeps! Remember the Metro Court explosion and hostage crisis? The big fire at the Port Charles hotel? Think an event along the lines of those.

The setting this time will be General Hospital itself (novel, given the show's name, right?). Expect the entire cast to be involved, with the doctors and nurses taking center stage. Also, there will be lots of people in really glamorous outfits thanks to a benefit going on at the hospital, which always adds to the drama. People dressed up + a big disaster = pure entertainment. And? People are going to die!

We learn Robin (Kimberly McCullough) is suffering from postpartum depression, although getting her to admit the diagnosis isn't as easy as Patrick (Jason Thompson) would like. We all know Robin is a control freak, so battling something as intangible as depression will make the couple face challenges they haven't had to. Oddly, Carly (Laura Wright) -- a postpartum survivor herself -- plays into their struggles.

All this and much, much (oh SO much!) more in 2009 (source)

What has given anyone the impression that Patrick is going to be romantic with ANYONE but Robin. Whether you like the story that's being written for them or not, SCRUBS is THE story.

Patrick worries about his new wife.
Robin doesn't accept Patrick's diagnosis of her condition.

Matt and Patrick work together and solidify their bond as brothers
Robin begins to spiral out of control, endangering patients.

Expect the unexpected.
If that's too generic for you, just prepared for all that you thought was happening not to happen.
There was some hella stuff going on in the last few weeks.
Adjust your expectations.
Don't expect Robin to be murder-cuted.
You might be surprised.
Other than that,
look out for some big shocker.
Murder-cuted? Is that like electrocuted?
Yep, just my cutesy or not take on the word.
Don't be so gloom and doom about Robin.
Don't need to be.
'kay, A bit of clarification.
Robin's story might be good.
Not to worry.
SBu did not throw a fit. Not exactly. But he was standing close by.
The shocker is not a killing or a betrayal.
It's just what nobody was expecting.
Expect the unexpected.
OP here.
I see that many of you've been smirking and pondering my generic self all night.
Well, how about this?
What is the "new expected?"
Well, the new expected ain't the expected any longer.
Expect the unexpected.
Consider what was not going to happen and you might arrive at your answer.
Robin fans: you don't need to worry about her.
Good story.
And to all you jerks who can't figure out a little brain teaser because you don't have, well, ....
Carry on.

Sneak Peeks:
Week of January 12

This story looks like it's going to be a winner for me. Mind bending twist and turns. I also like the postpartum story. I don't think it would mess Scrubs up at all, it's just a big test in their love and commitment to each other. What's a marriage without, drama, fears, and tests? Nothing at all. I've been married 13 years and I've been through it all. Love the realism for this couple, I'm not worried at all.
