Upcoming Night Shift Episodes
Episode 12 "Truth and Consequences" (spoiler pics)
Patrick puts the entire hospital in jeopardy when a notorious patient dies and Dr. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) pays a visit to the night shift. Meanwhile, Robert reminisces about the past with Anna (special guest star Finola Hughes) before taking a turn for the worse. Later, Saira confronts Leo while Kyle and Eric (special guest star Chad Allen) share a tender moment
Episode 13 "Past and Presence - Part 1"
While in a coma, Robert is visited by friends from the past including Sean, Tiffany, Mac and Luke (special guest stars John D. Reilly, Sharon Wyatt, John J. York and Anthony Geary). Meanwhile, Jagger is served with custody papers by Stone’s mother and Toussaint is rocked by a letter he receives. Later, Claire makes a bold decision about her career as a doctor while Kyle and Eric (special guest star Chad Allen) come to a crossroad in their relationship. Episode 14 "Past and Presence - Part 2"
In the aftermath of the explosion, Patrick and Jagger rush to diffuse a second bomb, while Robin, Kyle, Leo and Epiphany fight to save Saira's life. It’s killing Patrick, though, to sit tight on a paternity secret Sonny is oblivious to. Wondering what he did to deserve such a dark burden, he wishes he could be forthcoming with Robin at least.
But Olivia did beg him to x-nay on the ecret-say.

By turning away a racist gang, Patrick inadvertently opens them up to major fatalities.
Patrick’s in big trouble for refusing to treat that – now deader than a doornail – racist gang.
The racist gang’s deathknell could mean curtains for the hospital.
Saira breaks the tenet of a physician – first, do no harm – when a patient almost buys the farm.
Robert has a chance to walk down memory lane with Anna, and then…
Robert sinks into a coma. Then, some cool stuff happens. It’s like the 1980s all over again.
Saira has a coming to Jesus meeting with Leo.
Kyle and Eric hit it off, bonding nicely. Real nicely.

I have not given scoops the last few days and will not at least until Friday or this weekend.

I just need confirmation that she[NB] got an outside offer as well as KMc who is supposedlu being courted by one of the cable networks.
I posted the items about NB and KMC, which I was putting a call out for CU and/or PA to confirm - as I had just heard this being talked about.
I'm just not in the mood to tip toe through SD minefields this morning, so I will sign off.

General Hospital Happenings:
10/9 Mac tells Patrick and Robin its time to pee or get off the pot,he makes his exit, leaving the two alone and Patrick handcuffed.Mac's strategy is a success, on bended knee, Pat proposes and Robin accepts!
10/10 Patrick is conflicted over keeping Olivia's secret. Robins urges Kate to keep Sonny out of the mob. Kate in turn wants to know if Robin would keep a child secreted away from Sonny, which Patrick overhears. Patrick and Robin agree to marry before the baby is due; they choose October 29th. Patrick confides his dilemma in Coleman without mentioning any names.
10/13 It takes Coleman all of 3 seconds to figure out Patrick is talking about Sonny having another unknown kid. Patrick chooses his best man...Coleman!

Dante arrives and while He is caught up in Sonny's story, obviously, he's also a big important new character on his own nd will have his own stuff going on as well
Spinmax push and pull and Maxie becomes intrigued with Matt
Carly and Nik agree on everything about the hotel and disagree with Jax.
Claudia and Ric fall in love.
Altogether it looks to be a well-balanced sweeps leading up to the final week when a great big, you never saw it coming moment (although I'm sure it'll be covered in every magazine well in advance) occurs.

Sweeps begins taping on October 9.

I do and I've pm'd them. There is quite a bit of substance to what they've posted

Can you say anything about KMc and NB have possibly outside work? Will it limit their time on GH or will they be able to do both. (mostly for kMc)
KMc's contract is with ABCD - any outside work she takes on cannot impact her work on GH or NS so if time is going to be limited it would be for the new project, not her primary job
I can't remember if I asked you this already, but are they going to have more than the usual couple of shows on SN next year, or is that dependent on all the other stuff?
they're making a big push for original programming but it becomes a chicken and egg thing - more prgramming helps with expansion but more money is needed for more programming etc
Kim talked about an idea she pitched to SN that she said she is almost sure will be picked up.Do you know anything about this?
