Chin Up. Scrubs aren't over.
Fine. Just saying and I suppose you've heard it over and over. Scrubs are a Frons fav. This is just angst. Heavy angst ya but they'll be stronger in the end.
When will it lighten up so I can believe they will be stronger?
This is the first heavy angst for Scrubs. Leyla was nothing compared to this. Scrubs, Jasam, NuNem are the outcome. Be patient they'll be stonger after this.
Thanks how much longer until it lightens up? Also does Patrick ever find out Robin did not have sex with Flowers?
Scrubs may take awhile sorry. Not exactly sure on the timeline on that. Yes he will find out about no sex with Flowers. I don't understand why it's so hard for you guys to believe what Frons is doing here... Jasam/scrubs/Nem/theNuNEM were(are) his power couples. Won focus groups for over 2 years. He's going back there. Ya'll just have to be patient.

Let me tell you this - take it for what it's worth....
TPTB are being overwhelmed with letters, calls, emails, concern from outside groups over the state of this PPD story.
THEY ARE LISTENING. Keep doing it.
Things are being shifted around a bit more again.
If anyone tells you something is cast is stone - don't believe them.
They way things are shifting/changing at GH, I wouldn't believe a word of it until it airs.
If you don't believe me just look at the past few weeks of legit spoilers and see how many didn't happen.

Are they surprised that this angle is not going over well?
I don't know if surprised is the correct word. They never act like changes are a result of a "mistake" on their part.
It's just a change to the story.
Are they listening in a good way or in a bad way? Any chance Patrick steps up and fights for his wife to get well?
Hard to tell. I would be amiss if I told you it was going this way or that way because I don't know what will stay or change. It's a confusing mess right now - with many of the stories. You think the scrubs story is a mess, wait until you see the Michael story. Hold onto your hats.
I will leave you with this.......
I was told - can't confirm yet, that some of the scenes set to air on the 8th with L/R/P have been cut. It will seem choppy to the fans, but it was done to downplay this angle.
We'll see if this occurs or not.
They are literally making changes by the hour.

Robin's PPD storyline continues to generate controversy among GH fans, but KMc insists that everything depicted so far is based on reality. "TV is always extremely exaggerated - especially soap opera - but it's true to the extreme McCullough assures. "There are all types of cases of postpartum. You can have it all the way from very mild to very extreme; it just depends on the person. I have two really good friends who have had it. The strangest thing about postpartum is literally not wanting to hold your baby; not wanting to be close to your baby; not wanting your baby to exist, basically. That's very real."

The surgeon tells her that out of 10 patients who have had the experimental surgery, 2 of them actually died. She says is what Michael doing now, living?

You guys have already been told what happens. Patrick tries to kiss Liz while Robin is away in treatment. Liz tells him no but still hangs around and helps with Emma. Robin comes back and is jealous of Liz's place in their lives. Patrick is not supportive of her jealousy and that is the new tension.

Kimbrely was talking about the show setting up the rivalary betwen Robin and Liz. That's where she's had to remind that that Robin and Liz were friends. Then she was going on about remembering the history between the 2 characters and then going from there. She didn't think Riz should be as blatant, like "I hate you, no I hate you more"..like Robin is with Carly, because they are friends
Here's the part I hate...She said if Patrick and Liz do end up having an affair or whatever, she wouldn't treat Liz the same way she would treat Carly. It's a different dynamic between the woman.
She added it at the end She was talking about the set up of the rivalary and then she herself adding in the affair part.

Backstage is more interesting then the actual show
-Speaking of contracts, that's a touchy subject at GH studio's. Not all actors are being approached for contract negotiations. If you are wondering why JT & KMc are suddenly in the midst of an A-story, it's simply 4 words: "It is contract time". The show would like to keep them. Their increased airtime and frontburner status was the lure to keep them. The problem is KMc & JT are both being tight lipped about whether they will resign. Anyone saying they know, knows more then I do.
-One person very interested at Prospect regarding KMc's contract is BH. There is a reason Liz is suddenly all up in Scrubs grill. What it comes down to is if KMc stays, the show will not re-up BH. If KMc goes, they will re-up BH. Before anyone says it's this is KMc's fault, it's not. It's a budget matter. The show has to save some cash, and they have made the decision as to who they want to keep and who they want to go. BH, unlike JT & KMc, is not in contract negotitions yet even though her contract is up before both of them. But, the show realizes that a show called General *HOSPITAL* needs a doctor or nurse or two. So if KMc says adios, BH will be that "nurse".

TPTB are testing various fanbases. They are most interested in the reaction towards Jason/Robin and Jason/Sam. That is why there are scenes about the PPD and Micheal with the two women. If Jason/Robin get a more favorable response than Jason/Sam, then they will move Patrick/Liz on. That is why Patrick/Liz have been interacting so much.

There is a reason for all the editing going on and it isn't story driven; it is a result of someone not being able to do their job. If story seems to lack consistency there is a reason and it has nothing to do with ratings

Carly and Patrick will spend some " quality " time together .

Much of how the upcoming storylines are dependent on contract negotiations. Management wants to keep both Kimberly and Jason, however, they are preparing back-up scenarios in case negotiations do not go in the direction they want.
Contracts are not being negotiated together as a package but will be done at the same time.

Patrick and Emma come to depend on Liz, Emma will not take to Robin at all when she returns, because she's getting that motherly affection and love from Liz. She's not use to Robin. Patrick will also still seek out Liz, because that's who he's become emotionally attached too.

Scrubs have a trial seperation, but their is no divorce in sight. They are being tested, will they make it or not?

I'm telling you straight out as I have before.
Does the Brad stuff come out or does it fester in Patrick?
Brad is a factor, he will be coming onto the show. And he'll be interacting with Robin during her
separation from Patrick, Robin confesses all to Brad about being Nancy. Though they are apart
they agree not to see anybody else as they go to marriage counseling. But they won't trust
eachother because both Liz and Brad is always there, lurking in the background. Patrick and Liz,
never become romantic but you will see the attraction and them holding back, because Patrick will
actually try and reconcile with Robin. But she'll be no fool either, because she'll have Brad to pass the
time with, and feelings will start to develop her part, which she'll try to fight.

No it isn't. The baiters can sit on this board all day and fabricate crap to piss off people, but Patrick is not going to cheat on Robin, certainly not with Liz. But carry on anyway. It won't make it happen. Brian Frons would never put BH with one of his faves, Patrick. If KMc left the show, there are two other actresses they would try first. Neither are BH.

Patrick will be in love with Liz and Liz will have feelings for Patrick. Patrick will have to choose between Robin and Liz. Liz will win. Yes, Piz will have an affair while Robin is out of the picture for a while.

Tuesday March 24:
Robin goes home and tells Patrick (almost!) everything.
Robin faces reality.

Patrick/Liz : just friends. He cheats but not with Liz

This is spring is all about misunderstandings.

Patrick thinks Robin had sex with Brad.
Robin thinks Patrick is getting too close to Liz and well any other woman within his range that isn't her. Paranoid?
Jason sees Liz with Patrick and rebounds to Sam. Later regrets when he runs into Liz and she confides in him everything that has been going on with Scrubs. She's trying to be a friend, but thinks it would be better to stay away.

I came yesterday and dropped the info about Liz and Patrick having the conversation about how Patrick shouldn't do what Liz did when she and Lucky went though the same thing. The kiss happens later and Liz pulls back and reminds Patrick again that acting out when he's hurt is going to destroy everything he has. They do not sleep together. I don't know who keeps trying to stir up Scrub fans that they do, but I'm telling you that Patrick does not sleep with Liz.

Robin goes on vacation but they will have pre-taped some of her PPD group scenes and this is what you see of Robin during her vacation time. Robin will be the topic of discussion not just with Patrick and Liz also Jason and Sonny and Carly and Mac and Maxie, all will have conversations either about how to help Robin or her treatment.

Sorry I meant to add, that Liz and Patrick don't get close romantically at all, he kisses her once and it is acting out on his part because he is so hurt that Robin kissed Brad. He thinks it was more. Robin hits rock bottom and that is when Jason finds her. Robin still loves Patrick and Patrick still loves Robin. It will be obvious that they love one another.

That is completely untrue. You guys will find out for yourselves shortly that once Robin hits rock bottom that things improve more quickly. She gets treatment and she also is going to figure into Michaels recovery. KMc's vacation time isn't going to impact the Scrubs or PPD story as the actress will pretape pivotal scenes.
Someone who is promoting Patrick romantic with Liz is going to have a really big surprise in April.

Patrick and Liz will not sleep together, they just share a kiss.
But.
When Robin returns is when the fun will start.
What happens?
The reason why Robin goes all bitch kitty on Liz is for one reason, a woman in the park asks Robin where Emma's mom and dad, when she takes Emma to the park by herself to play. This takes place during Scrubs separation. Robin snap, crackles and pops off at both Patrick and Liz over the incident. And, you know that Patrick defends Liz. Which infuriates and makes Robin feel more inept.

Liz looks after Emma again next week when Robin hits rock bottom. She is also there for Patrick after Robin and he cannot agree on treatment (taking medication).

If you never believe anything, believe this. Brian Frons and Bob Guza write GH. They write what they want for those that interest them. They hope you watch it and they like to shock you into watching it. But, whether you watch or not won't change anything. They highlight the actors they want to promote and backburner the ones that bore or disinterest them.
They like Steve, Mo, Kelly, Sarah, Bradford, Laura and assorted newbies. ABC LOVES Scrubs and They're stuck with Tony by directive of ABC and it shows. They really don't think much about the others except as supporting the lead stories. That's all there is.

Regardless of what Frons greenlights, there is a considerable difference in the way GH and OLTL is written. OLTL uses it's vets, families weren't systematically exterminated, there are more medical stories on OLTL than GH and the POV for the female characters are considerably better than GH. So this isn't all Frons IMO. It's a combination of Frons, Guza and the actors. ES is NOT acting with the likes of SBu, Mo and TG who say what they will and won't do. GH is a whole different beast than the rest of the ABC soaps. People HERE just have no idea how bad it is backstage.

BH is on recurring. She has been since November. It's the only reason she is still employed-- they can bump her down to recurring when they need or want to.
KMc is worth more than BH. She is more expensive and they cannot put her on recurring when they feel like it. They are keeping BH because she's cheap. She's not a favorite and wont be written for (hence she'll be in a prop for Scrubs side until and if KMc leaves in the fall).

KMc/Robin is the barometer as to the direction of the storyline. The storyline receiving any audience reaction is the PPD storyline at this point.

Here is a JT quote from the event when asked what is going down with Patrick
" I really don't know. I honestly can't tell you. I imagine it is going to go somewhere, yes. To be completely honest I don't know how far, I don't know where. I don't know if she is going to be our nanny at some point. Kimberly is going to take a couple of weeks off and I'm going to continue to work and there is going to be some sort of separation for the 2 but I really think it is going to be a real growth process for the couple but in the end it will be better in the end for both"
When they were told about story KMc said they wanted to do it as realistically as the AIDS story so she knew it was going to be long. It hasn't changed but they stretched it out
JFP told JT last week that they consider Scrubs the emotional gold of the show and that they they trust them to help with the stretching out to show the underlying love between Patrick and Robin. If they don't show that, it won't work. He knows they are disconnected right now
Scenes coming where Robin and Liz are rivals and KMc had to remind them that Robin and Liz are friends and tried to play it like that. She said Robin Liz ARE NOT Robin and Carly
Robin must lose it with Sonny because she said she has emotional scenes with him where she is really upset and felt so safe going there with him
Scrubs start working on cases together so Robin is back at work with the PPD being underlying in their scenes
NS2 sets are now GH sets and will be used in taping this week
Michael wakes up and he is HOT according to Kimberly
When asked what the best part about returning to GH a few years ago, she said meeting Jason Thompson
On why Patrick didn't punch out Brad...he couldn't believe what he is seeing. He says he sees Robin but it isn't Robin

She has first 3 weeks off in April. He was off last week in Argentina. They went in to work today right off the boat
Was asked if the marriage was consummated she said they had a honeymoon so yeah.
They missed working together in the crisis and they miss the connection between their characters but know they are supposed to be disconnected right now

Kimberly tells writers in scenes when they change show history that fans will notice and not to change it. They say to her her, nobody will notice this but she knows *we* do
JT notices that Patrick always runs to Jakes to drink after a problem. If they are going to go there, they should go all the way with it. Kimberly said we will be hearing very soon about her outside projects. They both have stuff going on outside of GH.

Kimberly is on vacation now. They do not know what is going to happen with PIZ but JT says he thinks something could possibly happen (has not been written yet). He said he only thinks that because why else would they be going this route. Again, this has not been written yet, this is what JT thinks. He can not say anything for sure. There is going to be a story where Robin feels threatened by Liz
Kimberly is not on vacation until the first part of April
JT said he does not think they are doing a Scrubs event at FCW this year. They will be at the main event just probably not having their own event. (take that how you want) When asked by my Mom if they (Scrubs) are even going to be together by the time FCW arrives, JT said he does not know.
When asked when the PPD storyline was going to end they said the do not know. It could be 2 weeks, a month, 6 months, they just do not know.
Jason is going to be Robin's confidant and Liz, Patricks. My sister said it looks like the writers are going to tease the audience with both couples but she doubts they will put them together.
Kimberly said she has to constantly remind the writers that Liz and Robin are friends when they are writing this stuff. She said with Robin and Carly it easy since they hate each other but with Liz and Robin being friends she has to make them remember that when they are writing tensions between the two

PIZ is NOT happening. I got a very good vibe the whole weekend from Kimberly and Jason.
When asked about doing a Scrubs Event at FCW, Jason said "We'll see."
Mary Anne (carolinagirl92 on this board). She was really surprised that all this Piz talk is going on because she didn't get that vibe at all. She said she got the vibe that it would be angst for Scrubs and that Scrubs were being tested, but would be okay in the end.

this is Mary Anne here on the RTS cruise, and I can say positively I haven't heard any Piz talk... AT ALL!!!!! Plus, we've seen them hanging together for a lot of the cruise. So I wouldn't put any stock in what SD is saying. We'll probably have more to talk about after the Scrubs event later today.

I hate to bear potentially bad news... but a plaid shirt made an appearance at the Meet the Stars Breakfast Sat. morning. But, to his [JT's] credit, it was a lovely plaid with some pretty shades of blue in it. But the plaid was put away by mid-afternoon as he was in a black trench, tight dark blue jeans, and dark grey shirt. Plus he was rockin' some smokin' model poses for pictures.

Tuesday, March 24 - Patrick confides in Elizabeth, mistakenly saying he’s certain Robin slept with someone else. A distraught Robin finally returns home and tells Patrick the whole story with the exception of her spending time with Brad. Robin admits she’s suffering from post-partum depression.
Wednesday, March 25 - Robin tries to make things better with Patrick by telling him she’s invited Lainey over but Patrick correctly assumes Robin hasn’t told Lainey the real nature of the visit. Robin begins to open up to Lainey but quickly beats a hasty retreat. Robin breaks down in Jason’s arms when he encounters her on the docks.

Thursday, April 2 – Robin balks at the idea of taking anti-depressants like her psychiatrist recommends and turns to Sonny for advice. Sonny understands how Robin feels but tells her that taking medication helped greatly in treating his bi-polar disorder. Meanwhile, Robin’s condition hits home for Patrick when he discovers that a woman suffering from post-partum deliberately crashed her car with her baby inside.
Friday, April 3 – Sonny encourages Robin to start taking the anti-depressants her therapist prescribed. Patrick is frantic to find Robin. On the docks, Robin ends up in dire straits when her mind starts playing tricks on her.

Just that Guza was told to write for Kim. The purpose of this story was to write something for Robin. Has it changed? Possibly, but not that I know of.

Guza didnt like the fact that some people didnt take to this PPD story, so he thought it would be interesting to make the story more dumb than orginally was. Hence IMO all this Brad crap. When you make fun of a story that Guza is really into he tends to be a pissy bitch and gets back at you. Now this is backstage so GOS.

Things are not looking good right now. Ratings are falling. Fans are outraged. This is the time to show support for your fan favorites. TPTB are willing to try anything to fix rathings, hence the couple swapping that's been going on.
Fan support
Scrubs continue to be tops in fan support. Fans rave about JT/KMc's performance but want a end to Robins PPD story.

Robin's PPD takes an ugly turn soon. She needs help and lots of it. Patrick is there for her but it takes its toll on him. Robin does leave Patrick and Emma to get better. Think Carly after Michael was born.

Re Scrubs:
Scrubs aren't breaking up. But, Robin will still Liz as an obstacle
because Patrick will continue to confide in her. Robin will be suspicious
of their relationship, especially after Patrick tells her that he kissed
Liz.
So it'll be Liz/Patrick/Robin for a while, and Brad will be a continuing factor
as well. Things's aren't over people by a longshot.

While Robin is away in treatment, Mac attempts to gain temporary custody of Emma. Sighting that Patrick is a unfit parent and emotionally detached after losing a pt during an operation. Patrick seeks out Diane for legal counsel, with Elizabeth by his side. Robin is unaware that her uncle and husband are in a custody battle over Emma, because they don't want to disrupt her treatment.

~Scrubs are the most popular couple on GH. They are NOT breaking up, just giving them a front burner story. Per Brian Frons.
~Liz will NOT be romantically involved with Patrick, but he will lean on another available shoulder with problems of her own. Filler for KMc's vacay. Expect messy and remorse.
~Almost everything discussed here today will never materialize on GH. Fantasy is the rule of the day here.
Don't Know Why I Bother

Patrick is not cheating on Robin. Period. End of story. Isn't happening.
We know. We know. Scrubs are invincible. They are GH. Blah, Blah, Blah.
No. Not invincible but no cheating as of now.
If you know this . Please tell me what happens in the very next scene Scrubs share.
Robin comes home to Patrick and Liz talking. Liz makes herself scarce and Robin tells about what happened in Rochester leaving Brad out.

Patrick will kiss Liz. He is seeking comfort. She immediately pulls away. She tells him acting out and kissing her isn't going to make the hurt he feels due to Robin's actions go away, and not to do anything that he can't take back. He apologizes. She forgives him but lets him know that she is a friend to both he and Robin.

Patrick and Liz do not sleep together. Patrick does something very cruel, while he is angry with Robin, but it isn't what has been dropped here. SD needs to go to one of BG's other storylines, that happened 5 years ago.
I will leave it at that, and don't say you weren't forewarned.
Ok but we know something happens with Patrick and Liz in terms of cheating. What exactly is that?
Patrick kisses Liz. She warns him not to throw away everything good in his life with Robin. That PPD doesn't just affect mother and child, but the entire family. She tells him some of her biggest mistakes in her own life where acting out when she was hurt. She tells him not to repeat her mistakes.
This is just the first salvo in the Patrick and Robin war. Others things and people will quickly test their marriage.

Correct. Patrick goes for sole custody of his daughter. He believes Robin has deserted them and that she slept with a total stranger when she ran away.
Liz is not interested in anything romantic with Patrick. She's helping Patrick because Robin is her friend.
