KW returns to GH when Felicia deals with the death of Georgie this month and KW is delighted to be back even if it's only for a few days.
SOW asks her if she was excited when she got the call. She said she was but she's said to hear about LL's departure. Being part of the canvas again, though is exciting. She thinks it's a great show with great writers but bad timing with the writer's strike. She says she knows her first two episodes were written by the GH writers before the strike which she was relieved to hear. She joined the writers on the picket line and they're in good spirits and enthusiastic. She wants it to end well and them to get what they're entitled to.
When asked where Felicia has been, KW notes they don't really explain it on screen but they've already established she's with a sick Mariah. She said she created a whole backstory in her head about Felicia looking for a missing Frisco and not wanting to let the girls know the truth. It's a pretty detailed backstory she came up with because that's what an actor has to do, believe in it and zero in on the details to create life onstage.
She keeps informed about the show and catches it every now and then but she's not a loyal watcher.
She's looking forward to seeing just about everyone, says it's like a family reunion, not many people she hasn't met. But Kirsten is one of them and she think she's a fabulous actress and is really looking forward to working with her.
She's been back in college for seven years, changing her major three times from theater to liberal studies and finally to history. It's more challenging to go back as an older student because you have to do the work but you also have to know the technology to write papers and do presentations and whatnot. She doesn't impose on her sons to ask them to teach her because they have their own work to do.
When she was doing the BJ heart story she says it was one of the most intense kind of stories you can do because it deals with the health or death of a child. Children are like little angels and when something goes wrong it's devastating and gut-wrenching and produces amazing drama.
SOW mentions Felicia will have to deal with the death of a child again. KW says "Like I said, there are a lot of choices to make. There's also the dynamic of, these girls maybe confused about why Felicia's been gone. There's a lot to play here."
Her last word to her fans is that she can't plug education enough because it keeps you alive and helps keep you driven, especially "when there are big transitions in your life, when you can either take paths of destruction of paths of being productive." (source)

Nadine attempts to comfort Spinelli after Georgie's murder. He also finds himself in the odd position of defending Logan as he remains suspicious of Coop.
Maxie believes Logan is guilty and she is out for blood. When Spinelli attempts to warn her about Coop she gets spiteful. (source)

A total of 5 behind the scenes will be let go. Their departures will be staggered. Two will move to another ABC soap. (source)

Two storylines have been suggested for retooling and three more are on the chopping block. (source)

A short list of actors has been circulated amongst a few heads as potential go-to's in case others don't work out. (source)

I heard through the grapevine that some actors may be taking a decrease in airtime. Beyond that , no.
But thats not unusal. It's not common for me to be privy to inside going ons unless it directly effects certain other things.
If the rumor has merit and it's in the talking stage I probably wouldn't know until just around the time it hits the script. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll know about things in the outline process.

Georgie catches a glimpse of the strangler when she comes upon him attacking Maxie. She tells Mac and Lucky the strangler was blond, medium build and dressed in black. (source)

He's also the one wearing all black on Monday's episode when he finally turns up out of nowhere in the middle of it. (source)

Sam gives Maxie the keys to her PH for a romantic night with Coop. She tells her to get some use out of the hottub. That's where Maxie is when Georgie is getting strangled in the park. (source)

Maxie tells Mac her attacker had a distinct soap smell and if she even smelled it again she would know him. (source)

Georgie and Spinelli discover a woman was strangled near the base Coop was stationed in Iraq. This makes them suspect Coop but when they tried to get details of the case, they learn the file on the case was sealed. Georgie asks Logan about it and he claims to know nothing of a murder in Iraq. Johnny also gives the description to Lucky and Harper after he's brought in for Maxie's attack. He says he saw the man running from Carly at Wyndamere and he remembers light hair. Johnny and Georgie know nothing of each other's stories at this point. (source)

Monday - The bride involved in the car accident is going to live. Robin is saddened by the fact the bride had a hysterectomy and will never have children. Patrick believes the important thing is her life was saved. Robin becomes annoyed by his attitude. (source)
