Actually Patrick never tells Leyla they're done. She comes to that conclusion herself when she sees Patrick and Robin bonding after the funeral on Thursday. He never tells Leyla they're over.
You are kidding? We do not get to hear him say we need to be just friends?
No we don't. Leyla realizes he's not over Robin and no matter what he says he's not ready to move on.
Huh? JT said he taped scenes with Patrick telling Leyla he was in a bad place and all they can ever be is friends.
They're not happening next week. The following week Leyla confronts him about not being over Robin and he tells her he's not ready for a relationship with anyone right now.
He asks for Robin back on Monday 12/3 and Leyla overhears. Robin refuses him which Leyla doesn't overhear. Leyla confronts him about not being over Robin on Tuesday, 12/4. He tells her he's just not in a place in his life where he wants a relationship with anyone. She then busts him by saying she overheard him talking to Robin. He tries to say he's sorry but she tells him, it's fine she just wishes he had been honest with her. He tells her he hopes they can still be friends and she says that wouldn't be a good idea and takes off. Wednesday, 12/5 is the GNO.
Since the mags were all wrong and there's no epiphany or no moment where Patrick realizes he needs Robin, then I don't have to watch this week. Perfecto.
No, the mags weren't wrong. There is a moment. It does happen at the funeral. But it's not a scene with Robin. It's a moment he has on his own.
The funeral plus the bride car wreck. The funeral is on Wednesday 11/28. We see Patrick get a moment at the funeral. They aren't on Thursday 11/29. Friday 11/30 is the bride car wreck stuff. At the end of Friday 11/30 the P asking Robin back convo starts (just one snippet). Monday 12/3 they replay that snippet and finish the convo.

That's wrong. Patrick has a discussion with Leyla about it.

Next Tuesday. It's immediately prior to the GNO. That's why Leyla is at Jake's getting drunk. She's upset and pissed off that he dumped her.
AIG said Leyla is drunk at Jake's bitching and moaning about being "dumped". He ends it with her. It happens on Tuesday right before the GNO.

That's because he doesn't have any alone scenes with her until then. Friday through Tuesday is dealing with the bride. He ends it with her at the soonest possibly moment.

Robin is not getting attacked until after Georgie's funeral. Maxie gets attacked before Georgie!
Maxie gets attacked Dec. 7th's tag and it goes into Dec. 10th's episode.

Not in anything that's been taped as of yet. Georgie gets attacked Dec. 14th and dies December 17th.

No one is shown leaving the GNO. The episode ends with everyone there commiserating. The next day, it picks up as a new day in PC.
Does Robin dance or flirt with anyone at GNO?
No dancing or flirting by any of the girls. They're there missing Emily and then they start venting.
Robin is at the funeral. She gives one of the eulogies. I'm not sure what the debate is about right now, but she is there. (source)

Ok, this is false. Patrick does not "break up" with Leyla because they already broke up and did not officially get back together. As I mentioned last week, Patrick asks Robin back before he heads into surgery for the bride. He asks her to put the baby plans on hold for just a while so they can get back on track and then think about having a child. He asks Robin to think about it, she does and says no. Patrick feeling rejected asks Leyla out to dinner who overheard the whole thing and tells him she will not be the back up girl every time he loses his chance with Robin. She knows she is nothing but a stand in and tells him so. She feels dumped and says as much at the GNO because she knows she never really had Patrick to begin with.
So then Patrick doesn't keep going after Robin?
No, he does keep trying. Robin is not very receptive until Georgie dies. It's then that she allows herself to need him and be with him and he will be willing and waiting.
So then what is JT talking about with the scenes he taped with NB? He said they have a conversation where Patrick apologizes and tells Leyla he was in a bad place and they can only ever be friends?
Do you guys really want to know or will you flip out at the answer? Honest question.

It's not so bad. It's really the end so keep that in mind. Alexis calls Patrick to come to the MC because Leyla is drunk. He shows up at Jerry's room and Leyla passes out in his arms. After that they are getting off the elevator with Pat holding up a drunk Leyla. Robin sees them and misunderstands. After Leyla sobers up, she awakes to Patrick who then tells her she was right about him using her and apologizes.

The Leyla obsession around here is ludicrous. I've never seen a character with 6 lines a week inspire so much discussion.
And this is exactly why she got a damn contract.
Folks need to STOP with the obsession. Don't people understand that hate breeds more airtime with GH.

No she got a contract because Guza was taken with the actress/character from when NS first started. The original plan was to have Leyla be the mercy killer while Jolene was the Medcam spy. That is how the show was outlined. Then it was changed. Nothing to do with any fan reaction to hte character.

Leyla was supposed to die. That was the original outline and Patrick was going to realize he had been taken and ask for Robin back. The outline changed and Guza used the excuse that people loved the triangle (because of the first 2-3 episodes of NS ratings) but it changed before that. (source)

JT said Patrick ends it. JT said the audience would clearly know Patrick ended it. And that is before the GNO. AIG said Weak Link is dumped. That means Patrick does the dumping like JT said.
Patrick ends it after Leyla approaches him and tells him she knows he is still in love with Robin so he shouldn't let that go. He officially ends it but she takes the first step in ending it. The OP was right. They are trying to make her look like the noble victim here (IMO at least).

Yes before GNO but again to say unequivocably Patrick ends it is misleading. It is much more mutual in nature with Leyla actually taking the lead. Patrick just agrees with her assessment which leaves room for her feeling dumped the next night.

You know what I forgot, because I am a moron? Neither JT nor KMc filmed the day that NB did the majority of her stuff with NLG/SR.
So unless they taped the conclusion of that the day before, which frankly doesn't make any sense to me, since they wouldn't need to change the set to have JT/KMc come film him picking Leyla up, then he's not there.
Doh.
And if I'm not mistaken...That's the last we see of her [Leyla], for a while.
Just to be clear, I'm just saying I literally do not remember hearing a thing about her post-GNO. Like, at all.
