I am an insider and while these spoilers are true you are completely misinterpreting them. The spoilers are about Leyla stepping aside not about Robin stepping aside. They are basically showing Leyla as making a noble sacrifice because she sees that Patrick loves Robin so she and Robin can be friends. TPTB have realized that if they want this character to work she can't be a romantic rival to Robin.
Now I know you will probably not believe me and assume that your negative intepretation is correct but please remember before you state things as fact you have heard a different version.

That doesn't matter with Guza involved. These are for after Georgie's death and when Scrubs are supposedly reuniting they're still farther apart and Leyla's still involved.

First, some responses to earlier questions. No, I am not bias against Anons. I have limited time, scroll and speed read. RPs usually catch my attention due to the avis. Anons, please do not take offense.

The direction for Patrick and Robin appears to be diverging. However, you will see some parallel to their paths. Misunderstandings will occur along with confrontations. Each will be monitoring the other from a distance.

Robin will be researching her options relative to a pregnancy. She will have numerous scenes with friends and family. She will also date (Leo). She will have conversations with friends and former lovers (Jason).

Patrick will date Leyla. I have suggested in the past and will repeat that fans will need to be tough or wearing some suit of armor.

October is going to be a rough month for fans of Patrick and Robin.

The storylines from NS will bleed over to GH in numerous aspects including Dr. Kelly Lee and Dr. Andy Archer and Dr. Lainey Winters, her father's death and Cody. Cody's storyline may be of interest to some.

The storylines are being tweaked and dialogue detailed.

Leyla and Patrick almost do the deed but she doesn't want to be rebound girl, have things end badly and it affecting her job at GH. Patrick runs into Leo and Robin flirting, Patrick asks Leo what he's doing since just last night he was with Kelly? Patrick tells Robin to not fall for this guy while she's vulnerable. She takes offense and tells him she'll sleep with anyone she feels like. Patrick says that's her choice and walks off. Later Leyla shows up at the apartment, telling him she can't stop thinking about him. He wonders what changed her mind. She said she's falling for him. He pulls her into a kiss and it's presumed they have sex since you don't see it.
Then what are the Andy/Kelly scenes about?
They agree to support each other through their individual re-hab issues. They agree if they both can survive their addictions, they'll have sex to celebrate.

he snaps at epiphany for "letting" it happen. He confronts Dr.Ford and tells him to prevent her from leaving. He takes away her patients. Robin tells him to back off or she'll make him pay. I have no idea what that means before anyone asks
will Patrick be having any story besides Leyla?
I don't know. I know Leyla is irked when Patrick tries everything to stop Robin from trying to leave. Leyla and Patrick do sleep together and gossip starts circulating around the hospital about them hooking up everywhere in the hospital. Robin ignores him and Leyla which makes him angrier.

Elizabeth slaps Patrick because he is making it hard for Robin to quit General Hospital.She overhears Patrick snarking with Epiphany about Robin leaving GH. She can't believe what he is saying and slaps him. This happens the week of the 22nd.
Also that week Robin and Emily set up a date for Jason and Elizabeth. Nadine is out for revenge, however she is not an evil person.
Robin after a talk with Nikolas about Research grants and the lack of funding decides to set her own facility up in PC.
Elizabeth and Robin bond a little bit that week

Nadine will be Robin's best friend in the coming months my friends:wink:

Leyla and Patrick do not sleep together. When Leyla shows up at this doorstep, Patrick let's her in and kisses her, but then he stops it before it goes any further. He tells her that he would only be using her, because he's still very much in love with Robin.
Can you tell me when? And can you tell me if its a Patrick free storyline?

All I Got for SD:
Lots of craziness in here lately so I'll just drop this quick for you all to mull over. I will point out what I know to be true and what I know to not be true from the IL and add a few things of my own.
There is no Jason/Robin other than friendship.
There is no sperm donation coming from Jason.
There is no permanent end to Scrubs.
There is a plan in the works for Liason. One that puts them them in a place of growth as a couple.
There is a conversation between Robin and Liz in regards to Patrick/Jason as Robin now realizes the bond that exists between them (Liason). Patrick will not be on next week but he is not written out.
Nik is a busy man. He goes to Robin to have his blood tested for any trace of the drugs he was given.
Patrick and Robin won't be ready to close the book on their love but will either be willing to admit it? Or will they suffer in silence? Something causes one of them to act.
Also we lose a few more PC residents. Something old, something new, something blue.
That's it for now. I've spilled all I can.

It's not a quick fix. The end of sweeps is the new beginning. It's hopeful to say the least.
How much of a role does the third party play in the next couple of months? Does Robin get to continue to move on?
Third party is nothing more. Patrick talks a good show but he betrays himself. Robin moves on, well tries. She doesn't love easily.
There is no harm in posting these so I will.

The person who confirmed my post indicated that Noah Drake would be responsible for Patrick's new state of mind. It's more like he tells him a family story that sheds new light on what he meant to his own parents. The ring comes up later and I don't know if Patrick asks or Noah offers. In: Nazanin Boniadi - Coming off her success run on GH:NS, the actress has been put under contract to continue the character in the daylight.

GH head writer Robert Guza admits to being a victim of his own success where spin-off NS is concerned. "It's nearly kill all of us but it's been an extraordinary experience. The viewers have responded, and we are having a great time," beams a happy but weary Guza. "Although I don't think any of us knew going in just how hard it was going to be. [At first] we were thinking that it was just a sixth episode a week of GH, but it turned out to be much more involved. It's a credit to not only the NS people but all the GH people that neither show seems to have suffered. Everybody stepped up, big-time."

MedCam's chief counsel, Mr. Lovell, continues to set the stage for a takeover of GH. With Jolene in his employ and covertly performing his dirty work on the inside, Lovell informs the student nurse that one more "accident" needs to happen to facilitate the transaction.

The worsening medical condition of Lainey's father, Roger, makes it imperative that he undergo surgery as soon as possible. When the insurance company refuses to cover the procedure, Patrick, Leyla, Cyndy and Regina risk their jobs to perform a secret surgery. Unbeknownst to the team, Jolene gets wind of the operation and takes action to make Roger her next victim.

To Patrick's dismay, Robin has been grappling with pursuing custody of Stacey's baby. After much soul-searching, she comes to the decision to try to adopt. Robin arranges a meeting with a social worker and is granted a temporary foster care placement. Everything seems to be going her way - until a surprise visit from a man claiming to be the baby's father throws a monkey wrench into her plans.

Word spreads through the staff about Toussaint's past as the lead singer in the famous band "The Saints." Epiphany makes it clear that to this day, she is still one of his biggest fans. The gossip mill is working overtime. Why, staffers wonder, would Toussaint leave his glamorous lifestyle in the limelight for the line of work that he's in now? Someone takes particular note of Toussaint's previous musical achievements in the band.

This is regarding:
July 4th is the day Robin decides to move in with Patrick.
Robin sees Patrick praising the 3 new student nurses on their work abilities. When Patrick sees that it bothered Robin, he's exasperated and doesn't know what else to do...he's frustrated that she doesn't trust him! Robin overhears the 3 student nurses talking in the locker room about the skirt chasing stories they heard about the notorious Dr. Drake in nursing school and how only one 'woman' has been able to tame him.... true love it seems.
Robin prepares a picnic on the hospital roof for Patrick and tells him that she's going to stop expecting him to fail her, leave her, cheat on him...that she is going to take a leap and fully trust him. And that if he will still have her, she would love to move in with him. (source)
