I was around a few of the actors and had a couple fun things to share

• E! News was at the event, look for some coverage on the network soon
• The event was a great combination of Soapnation fan volunteers, Disney VoluntEARS, and City Year volunteers
  
• Carolyn Hennesy and Leslie Charleson were like pro painters, they got their assignments done in record time!
• Carolyn Hennesy makes a mean meatloaf
• Leslie Charleson only signed onto the show for 2 years and is going on 32 years
  
• Aaron Refvem has a great voice and belts it out on the high notes (I think we need karaoke for kids) and just learned how to do a back flip!
  
• Haley Pullos loves the color pink
• Megan Ward came out and had her lunch with her fans
  
• Megan's daughter is dressing up as Annie, Megan will be Miss Flannagan, and Megan's husband will be Daddy Warbucks. Megan's son rebelled and is an action hero (I think)

October is going to be a BIG set-up month.
They are going to be positioning everyone for the stories that will EXPLODE in November.(And by that, I do not mean pyrotechnics will be involved---although in at least one case they likely will.)
1. Three women will have secrets revealed; One involves a child; one involves a tryst, one involves a newcomer.
2. Three men will become fathers: One in the labor room; one at a gala event attended by the whole town; one in a room at Kelly's.
3. Something will go boom(doesn't it always) but this time someone goes boom as well leaving behind a BIG QUESTION which allows a person contemplating a new career to prove her stuff.
4. We learn much about three new characters: One is worse than he/she seems; one is better than he/she seems; one is exactly what they portray themselves to be and that's really not good news for anyone.
5. One woman will realize the value of another just as she loses him (probably) forever.
6. Three men will believe themselves to be betrayed.(By the same woman)
7. One man will fight hard against believing he has been betrayed(he has) by the love of his life.
8. And someone will learn the truth in the adage: Revenge is a dish best served cold.
9. Someone will bug the crap out of everyone in town with a new found talent
10. And finally, a woman burned by love before will begin to believe she's finally found the right guy; just before he pushes away.

Playing a doting daddy on TV can take a lot of acting talent, especially when the baby is made of rubber rather than flesh and blood! GH's JT was trying to bond with his new "daughter" when he looked down into the bassinet and saw a doll with what appeared to be hair on its chest. "And the hair was falling out!" Thompson laughed. "Then, there was one of our prop guys beside the bassinet with a little pump. He was hiding and using the pump so that the baby's chest would go up and down like it was breathing. So I'm sitting there having this first dialogue ever with my daughter and she wasn't even real. It was fake, it was made of rubber, it had hair on its chest, and a prop guy was sitting there, trying to be as incognito as possible, pumping this little thing. "To top it off, Thompson has a three-page monolgue he has to say to "it" with feeling of course.

Sneak Peeks: While Robin struggles, Patrick excels at parenthood.
Buzz: JT is elated that not only is his character a father, he gets a moment to catch his breath now that baby Emma is out of the woods! "The whole reason we did this storyline is to show that an HIV-positive woman can have a healthy baby," explains Thompson. "It was a just a little scare - which also can happen, but the important thing is she was born healthy." GH consciously built the story on a foundation laid in 2007 on GH:NS. "Robin came down with DIC, which was the same thing that Stacy died from. It is basically that the blood won't clot, so nothing could heal. Robin, of course, ended up being okay," points out Thompson.
Well, how about the new dad? "I am exhausted, because it was an emotional roller coaster. It was a very draining couple of days of work, to say the least," grins Thompson. Any new dad would agree!

Hit - GH plans for wedding bliss
GH made the buildup to Patrick and Robin's wedding special with episodes featuring something old (show history), something new (baby Emma), something borrowed (Days of Our Lives alums Kirsten Storms and Jason Cook) and something blue (Georgie's bracelet).

Not only was Mac's heartfelt conversation with surrogate daughter Robin awesome, he also took time to reminisce with Maxie about raising three girls, calling them "my true success." It was so moving to see that poor Georgie's memory was kept alive amid the hubbub. Then, keeping romance alive, Lesley showed Laura's kids a memory book and explained how Scotty and Laura really did love each other once upon a time. Even Sonny and Jason's banked bromance superceded their mob machinations for a few days as the duo recalled how Robin changed their lives.

There was plenty of room to have a little fun, as well - witness the freshly scrubbed Coleman cleaning up with the ladies (Talk about being the best man!) and the scrubs-bedecked Matt, ushering Patrick into the church. (Appropriate for Scrubs' wedding!) Meanwhile, steadfast Robin got to bond with her mom and galpals, as well as her baby. Perhaps most importantly, she demonstrated faith that AWOL Patrick would show up!

Sure, GH acceded to soap opera convention by interrupting the nuptials, but at least the wedding crasher was little Emma Grace Drake - a symbol of tomorrow, not a reminder of a sordid yesterday.

So what if the future became now when Robin went into labor? She (and GH) had done the heavy lifting to make the story a party worth RSVPing for.

Minae and Kent chat (recap from Scrubs Board): Minae Noji had a chat tonight and she said when the Scrubs baby's birth was taped, the baby was just 14 days old and 4 lb! So JT/KMc were/are dealing with a real newborn (twins, actually - Rose and Ruby)!Apparently, it is perfectly legal [according to CA laws] as long as their health is certified by a physician and the babies are a certain weight. With twins, lower weights seem to be acceptable. What I can remember is they talked about halloween and they got a party bus like a Girls night out, which included kMC, Naz, Sonya, Minae, and Kent. There was a pole on there as well. I think they were talking about pole dancing. Another thing was talking about how kent and minae seem really close and Minae was talking about how Kent is very possessive of Minae. And what I can remember we were talking about their GNO event in NYC more information will be posted on Minae message board.

Hi I was here on Monday talking about the SSW promo. I am working on setup down at Disney. Finally got to see it this morning. Out of respect for the actors and everyone else at GH, there are somethings that I just cannot spoil.
It starts out with a very romantic scrubs proposal and Patrick giving Robin a special gift. Jason looking real evil and threatening some guy before pulling the trigger with Sam in the background with a shotgun. There is a clip with Sonny in bed sleeping and Claudia standing over him with a knife. Carly walking in on Kate and Jax. There is a clip of Johnny and Lulu but thats one thing I cannot spill. Its a big twist and it hasnt been spoiled. There is another Jasam clip I cannot spill. Its not romantic in any way, but the dialogue is a big spoiler. There is a clip of Maxie walking in on a LL2 kiss. It doesnt look romantic though. Liz slapping Maxie. Liz looks like a total mess. She is in pink pajamas and looks like she has been crying. The promo ends with another huge spoiler that I cannot talk about in any way.
Its very dramatic and it looks like they are going to spoil some stuff that will not play until after sweeps.
Sorry, but some of this stuff is just not true.

Robin, Liz, Coleman, Piph, Matt, Emma, Lainey, Carly, Kelly. Leyla and....Alan. He is alive in Pat's dream. The dream opens with Pat and Leyla in the locker room and they are hugging. Robin walks in and they meet for the first time. That is the only time Pat is with Leyla in that sense. He is with Liz afterwards. He is shown to be somewhat of a cad in the dream.

So, it seems Soapnet has green lit two unscripted reality shows and a scripted drama called "All about Erica". I guess Nightshift was axed, bye bye Scrubs come 2009.
Okay, they are just my assumptions. So if you are saying they are wrong, what do you know? or are you just disagreeing with me based on your opinions and assumptions?

The comedic Robin struggles arc lasts one day. ONE DAY. After that it is over. And yes the comedy part of it is that Patrick has no problems with basic things and Robin does.

The wacky hijinks this week are Patrick hovering. Then when they bring Emma home they both get scared "wackily" (next Monday) and then there is one day devoted to Robin can't do this but Patrick can (next Wednesday). That is it.

Do you think they will really listen to viewers who are upset with all the things you mentioned.
I basically have given up calling or writing because I really don't think they care about what I think as a viewer.
The most recent example (as cited yesterday along with some serious errors in spelling and grammar) is the editing which resulted from calls, emails, snail mails, etc. concerning the fire bombing of the clinic on or about September 11th. The storyline was to include Nik being blown through a window as the bomb exploded (this scene was contained in an early promo). The scene was edited from the final product prior to air.
Yes, the audience response is critical at this point.

The deal or rather several deals are being negotiated. Recently, a cable corporation inked a deal with ABCD as to placement and airing programs via the company's internet service provider. A portion of the negotiations is also addressing duplication of stations in certain markets such as New York and Connecticut.

I suspect that it is related to the serious deterioration in advertising dollars for awards programs which correlates to ratings or the lack thereof.

The tail (NS) doesn't wag the dog (GH) - it didn't re: NS2 either - the arc was planned this way for quite some time And the longer it takes NS to be greenlit the more latitude Guza will be given as he prepares his arc for the coming months.

I have some info for the week of Nov 24th. Seems GH's thanksgiving is all about nightmares. Patrick's nightmare makes him a very thankful man for Thanksgiving. Elizabeth's nightmare has her breaking down in Lucky's arms. Sonny has a nightmarish thanksgiving with his new relatives. Jax and Carly are forced into tight quarters. And Jason confides his worst fears to Sam.

• List of guests - Kimberly McCullough (Robin), Ignacio Serrichio (Diego), Ron Melendez (Andy), Sony Eddy (Pip), Adrian Alvarado (Cruz), Kiko Ellsworth (Stan), Jason Gehrhardt (Coop), Dominic and Ethan Rains (past/present Leo), and Graham Shiels (Cody)
• The actors were very generous with their time and the games they were asked to play.
  
• Sonya did say that the writing for NS2 is great and they are all looking forward to wowing us with this season. She was asked it her and BDW character was going romantic and she said that since ABC is the mafia, they would kill her if she spilled but to keep watching because she is happy with how things are going.
• Scrubs weren't talked about and the only question asked Kimberly responded to was what story would they like to erase if they could from GH and she said the Jerry/Nik one they were involved in.
• Minae told the story of how when they filmed the GNO scene Jason Thompson tongued everyone but her and at first she thought he was being a gentleman but when she found out he did it with everyone else, she wanted to know why he didn't do the same to her. At this point I believe Ron looked over at her as if to say he would do it.

• Ignacio is such a ham. A fan paid $400 for him to take his shirt off and give her a lap dance. And he did it!
  
• Ron (Andy) and Adrian (Cruz) kissed each other, of course after being egged by Minae (Kelly) and Kent (Lainey). It was a really quick kiss – I missed it.
• At one point they were asked what they were thankful for and each gave really heartwarming thoughts on it. All were grateful for the GH experience no matter what it was.
• They were asked what story they could rewrite (or get rid of can’t recall). Nobody would volunteer at first , lol nobody wanted to lose their job. Kimberly said the Nikolas/poison story. The actors involved had a hard time with the motivations.
• Who is the best looking actor? Kimberly said John Ingle (Edward) she thought was very handsome. Then said when she first came back she saw Greg (Lucky) and thought he was just beautiful.

It seems to me someone at SN finally realized fans are very interested and invested in the character Robin. I am not saying she is the star of this second season but from all that has been shown to us so far, it is very Robin centered. Robert, Jagger, Stone an old medical school friend etc
It's a complete departure from last year when she was practically isolated from the rest of the cast except Jason
Was this deliberate?

And what about fans of Patrick/JT? It doesn't seem like he's getting anything substantial in NS2 except Robin's bf.

Jason is in hot water because he is arrested for Logan's death but as soon as he provides his alibis he is out of hot water and Claudia is in hot water because she is the one who said Jason did it.
So when Robin clears him, does suspicion then fall on Claudia? Cause if Robin's telling the truth then Claudia must be lying?
That is what happens. By the way from what I know we never see the scene where Robin clears Jason. Just that it is checked out. Carly also comes down to the station and alibis Jason. I think she was with him for part of the time as well because I don't think she is lying

Trust this Guza wanted Peyla and then the strike and Frons had the writes rush the pregnancy story making patrick the daddy. Guza came back to that and that's why we get stupid ass story lines like the blog war and this Mac arresting sh-t.
No. The decision to have Patrick the father was made long before the strike. "Peyla" was never intended as a long term couple but rather as angst for Scrubs. Love scenes aren't related to Peyla or whatever and completely related to 1) the amount of violence on the show, allusions to violence etc 2) Patrick/Robin are not an "a" story and therefore are lower on the food chain.

Scrubs, Skate, JoLu, Maxie and her men and the Mob story are golden for the summer into fall. Doesn't mean there aren't going to be some bumpy moments but airtime wise its good.
The rest are going to basically get what you saw Lusam get for the past two weeks. One or two nice little vignettes.

insert italic tagst happens if they weren't because they're getting sh-t especially compared to Skate and JoLu.
They are getting more on a consistent basis than most of the other couples and NSII has not even started yet. NSII kind of balances out the mob emphasis for JoLu and Skate because the fact that they are couples and involved in the mob story does give them more storyline no doubt but ultimately the big stories of the summer are Scrubs, Skate, JoLu, Maxie and her men, and the mob.

I'm going to say this again because I feel bad that people keep asking.
For a while I dropped off Scrubs info anonymously but now I've let people know who I am, I will not be dropping off anything related to Scrubs or the character of Leyla.
It works out better for everyone. This way I can't be accused of spinning information intentionally to get a rise out of Scrubs fans. I can't be accused of intentionally withholding information or only sharing negative information on these characters.

One last tidbit: This summer is all about redeption. Not redeption of the characters, but redeption of the writers and producers. With Night Shift 2 looming over Robert and Jill's head, they want to make sure that the mothership sails far ahead of its spinoff.

Robin and Patrick's airtime on General Hospital will continue to be 3 + days a week. Please remember that I said that Jill and Robert are going to make this the summer of redeption. The last thing they want is for Sri and Lisa's ratings to be almost as much as a nationally syndicated daytime drama.

The latest information I have does not indicate this, as I do not have specific Night Shift scoops, as I do General Hospital. I will come back with more information when that becomes available to me.
Bob and Jill are going to have a lot of work to do, especially if the writers of NS2 are as good as we think they will be.
Sri and Lisa are going to be a winning team. Jill and Robert know this and lets say that the once WWIII over at Prospect has become more harmonious.

You're welcome. Night Shift, from what I heard is going to start out with Robin and Patrick as a solid couple, but much of the happenings will be focused on the birth of their baby. The other stories will include many new cast members as well as Ephiphany ruling the ER with her iron fist. I can say that scoops, etc are kept really close to the vest right now. General Hospital leads into the start of Night Shift.

As much fun as some "insiders" have on here with backstage hate and hostility, there really is not any. There is no hate for one actor and there is no love fest. To say that each actor on this show does their job and goes home is pretty accurate. Yes, some are friends, but beyond that, nothing. These grand romances that people have between NLG/SR and JT/KMc are grand ideas and there is nothing of truth to them. Prospect is like any other office, just that these people happen to be on TV.

All I Got for SD:
Lots of craziness in here lately so I'll just drop this quick for you all to mull over. I will point out what I know to be true and what I know to not be true from the IL and add a few things of my own.
There is no Jason/Robin other than friendship.
There is no sperm donation coming from Jason.
There is no permanent end to Scrubs.
There is a plan in the works for Liason. One that puts them them in a place of growth as a couple.
There is a conversation between Robin and Liz in regards to Patrick/Jason as Robin now realizes the bond that exists between them (Liason). Patrick will not be on next week but he is not written out.
Nik is a busy man. He goes to Robin to have his blood tested for any trace of the drugs he was given.
Patrick and Robin won't be ready to close the book on their love but will either be willing to admit it? Or will they suffer in silence? Something causes one of them to act.
Also we lose a few more PC residents. Something old, something new, something blue.

It's not a quick fix. The end of sweeps is the new beginning. It's hopeful to say the least.

I'm the original poster and I never left, I wanted to see who would "come out of the woodwork."
The person who confirmed my post indicated that Noah Drake would be responsible for Patrick's new state of mind. It's more like he tells him a family story that sheds new light on what he meant to his own parents. The ring comes up later and I don't know if Patrick asks or Noah offers. That's really all I have but I just wanted to clarify.(source)
