I don't think Guza is smart enough for NS to be a dream.

But, it would be an incredibly clever twist and make loads of sense for it to be several of the NS character's dreams, nightmares, musings, etc.


It seems that you guys have almost gotten it figured out. But what if wasn't a dream per se and more like an alternate universe where every character's worst fears come into being.

Think about it. What are the character's worst fears and what is happening with that character on the show.

Run with that and see where it takes you. Make a list if you have to.

Hint: It seems like Patrick is really falling for Leyla, doesn't it? What are the parellels between Patrick/Leyla's story and Robin/Patrick's past? You could almost swear it was like Robin/Patrick's love story is being repeated with Patrick/Leyla on this show, but on fast-foward. Only this time Robin is on the outside looking in on some of her special moments with Patrick being replayed before her eyes. I mean, Patrick and Leyla dancing to a wireless radio-where has that happened before? Leyla being treated like a freak because she's different-has Robin ever been treated badly because she's different? You could almost swear that some of the same dialouge just slightly different is being used on purpose. If this is true, why is Robin seeing it from the outside, almost haunted by her decision to choose motherhood over her relationship with Patrick? What is Robin's worst fear?

What about the Brenda teaser. Was that just to test the waters to see how the audience would respond to a recast?

Have they said anything about picking up the series for a second season?

I get Maxie's, Kelly's, Lainey's and Patrick's even...what about Spin, Jason and Stan?


Spinelli's a very sensetive boy when it comes to love. Do you really think him and Jolene will make a go of it? Him and Lulu? He's bound to get his heart broken.

All Jason wants is for Elizabeth and Jake to be safe and unharmed. High-risk pregnancy, c-section, just Stacy's baby mad it and was left without a mother. Jason tried, but failed.

Despite his protesting otherwise, Stan wants to make his mom proud by doing something that would make a difference. The strike idea didn't go very well, did it?

Yes and no. They told you from the very beginning that GH and NS were different.

Whose worst fear is that happening to Brenda though? Being burned?


Answered that one already, but ex-model Brenda being disfigured and invisible to those she cares about (Robin and Jason) would be fears of hers I would say. Wouldn't you?

thanks. But that doesn't make me feel good then because then we can still have scrubs being at such odds by the end of the series. The way they are now, it's like they don't like eachother at all.


You're not quite getting it. Patrick seems to being falling for Leyla the same way he fell for Robin. I would say almost the exact same way. What are the similarities? Is Patrick just falling for Robin all over again? He did say yesterday on GH that he could live with Robin like they are now indefinitely. What if Leyla is just a placeholder, someone replacing Robin exactly in a time in their relationship where Patrick doesn't want to move on from?

How is he falling the same way? He was much meaner to Robin in the beginning than he is with Leyla. Leyla can do no wrong in his eyes, she is perfection.


But if you only had 13 episodes to tell it all over again, you cut right to the chase wouldn't you? There are many many moments between Patrick and Leyla on NS that parellel Patrick and Robin's from the past 2 years. Think about it.

Thanks for trying to clarify. I understand what you're saying. But the problem is that if that is not mad*e clear at the end of the series than to the viewer, it's just going to look like Patrick fell in love with Leyla and moved on. So if they don't give us anything at the end to let us know that's what's happening, he just looks like someone who got over his girlfriend really quickly.


They'll give you something. Maybe not as much as you want, but something.

I popped back in because I forgot to say something and this caught my eye. It is not his new pairing, if anything it's his old pairing, stuck exactly where he wants to be - not moving on, not taking the next step, not being a father. Robin is seeing their relationship from the outside now, because she choose motherhood. What if she fails? Would it all be for nothing?

This is what I came back to say: NS and GH are different. Very different, but the characters fears are the same - that is what is crossing over to GH. Spinelli won't be in love with Jolene, but will still fear heartbreak. Maxie won't be on the verge of death because of her heart, but that fear will always be there. Patrick will not fall for Leyla and replace Robin, but Robin will still fear she mad a mistake. Etc...I don't know how better to explain it. (source)

Anything on Scrubs?
They stay apart for awhile.
Robin is focusing on herself.
She gets pulled into the mob storyline for a reason.
They are spreading her around with others for awhile.
Patrick isn't getting much to do when he isn't around her or there in the hospital to operate. (source)
