8/5 Heard in the Waiting Room

  • Don't forget to tune into Night Shift at 11pm tonight, Robert Scorpio returns!
  • This newspaper article is a bit spoilerish, as it talks more about Robert's illness on Night Shift
  • Daytime Confidential has a great podcast in which they talk about the 10 ways to improve General Hospital. There were many great comments, such as bringing more balance by integrating Robin into more storylines, touching on HIV more in her pregnancy, having the fake drugs affect Robin's cocktail, and more...check it out here.
  • Apparently Playgirl will cease their print edition (and thereby my subscription...kidding.) and go all web. Did you know Antonio Sabato Jr was a cover boy? (We Love Soaps)

By clicking on ‘Read More’, you understand that you will be reading the latest Scrubs-related spoilers and speculations …some of which are pretty reliable and others may be designed to incite panic/false hope in a fanbase. Enter at your own risk!!

Robin/Patrick: So much of their information is tied up in NightShift 2. Information I wish I was privy too.
Talks about space in Robin's house, baby's room, baby shower (I think) , Patrick's got some interesting news coming his way, supposedly. I'll keep you updated on that. I want to really know what this is. I'm not putting my butt out there until I'm certain.

The Robin/Patrick stuff the week of the 18th has to do with where the baby sleeps. They banter about Robin keeping the baby in a closet and Robin's decision is over whether or not to keep the apartment or get something bigger. It's been severely overblown into something bigger than it actually is.

Fact. Hello DD. If anyone posts using Fact and Believe it and it is anytime other than Monday and Tuesday, well it is not me. I will always post at that time and always in the afternoon after I get off work.
--
Fact. Things were buzzing today because of massive calls in about BH's anniversary and her status on GH. This actually prompted a meeting today. As of last Monday she and her pairing received thousands of calls. Also represented were calls for Alex and Jerry and Lucky and Sam. In all most equal proportion were calls concerning the "been there, done that" of yet another MOB storyline. B. G. is not going to be disuaded about MOB stories losing their viability but the natives are restless and if things continue as they are, expect changes. Surprising enough, negative calls for SB and MB and SJB. Disinterest in the Z's. Fans very very vocal in specifics. Who knew. Believe it.
--
Fact. NS part Deux has lost no steam and is gaining. KMc might be directing sooner than expected, and as early as Spring. JT also making murmers about spreading his wings. B. G. might be forced to be more equitable in his storyline options. B. G. Not pleased with ultimatiums and has made his feelings known on the written page before. Believe it.
--
Fact. Viewer response to both KMc and JT extremely good. Both on NS part Deux and on GH. KMc has gone to bat to writers about the fact that JT character and her own, limited in depth. Both desiring more and if not given, JT has had interest through out his tenure here and would not discount him leaving to spread his wings. Believe it.
--
Fact. It would surprise you very much indeed that changes ARE coming. Writing staff on tenderhooks with currents swirling. Much jostling for position and direction of where GH is going. B. G. chooses to believe fans will turn in for more MOB, it they do not changes will be immediate. Believe it.
--
Fact. Many calls centering on poor representation of female characters. Fans clamouring for more females not focused on MOB, Jason, Sonny and behaving badly. Surprised many and involved much discussion today. Believe it.

That podcast was amazing. They were all so right abour what things need to be changed. Robin and Patrick need more stories and the need to stop having so many stories about the mob. They also need to bring Lainey back and use her. I heard that she is coming back sometime this month and has some scenes with Cody. The need to have more hospital that is what the name of the show any way. The need to show the older characters a lot more like Bobbie and the Quartermaines. They also need to bring some of the old favoraties back and have them stay a lot longer then they have in the past. I also think they need to bring the brownstone back and havepeople live their like they use too.
