Tristan Rogers message board:
I think you all believe that NS will go past 13 eps and become more intergrated with GH. Not so. Bringing Emma back is not a simple matter. She has a family obligation and that comes first. Certainly I doubt the NS budget would cope with bringing her here anyway. This show is what it is, wishing for more is not possible. As for a re-cast I would definetly nix that idea. We tried it once for Anna and it didn't work. But at the time they had no choice. If you re-cast you change the character. So create a new character. I have never got that with daytime and for the most part I don't agree with it.
I will be talking about this role more to the media in the comming weeks as we get into the real "meat" of the story. I hope you can stay around for the ride.
lovenkisses

I've read that because of Kimberly's (robin) marathon numbers beign so high , better then MO and Steve's TPTB decided to go with Season 2 of NS and center it around her and Patrick with fill in stories.
The Robin marathon was the second highest rated GH character based marathon that has ever run on SoapNet. The only one higher was the Brenda marathon. I don't know if that had anything to do with NSII or not though.
Correct but kimberly was theeee highest, Brenda's was second and that CAUGHT TPTB attention, they had no idea. That is why , the wind is a changing for Scrubs. ONLY reason.
Are you kidding me? Kimberly and Jason along with Sri are major love to Frons right now. The guy is in love with them because not only did they draw numbers for NS S2 they managed to also draw numbers in the key demos that Frons and advertisers loves.
Then why would Frons allow the Matt/Patrick thing over Leyla?
Hate to burst your bubble but Leyla's next airdate is August 28th. She will be interacting with Matt that day. Patrick is no where around. And Spinelli is suffering from a split personality. Its a good show but no Patrick Matt clash over Leyla is on the horizon and she's definitely NOT on on the 19th.
Leyla is on 8/19. Matt is flirting with her and Pat steps in and warns him off. Why? Because he thinks he's a hero and Leyla informs him she can handle Matt with out his help. Anna is a witness to this.
BREAKING NEWS:
Kmc is not re-signing they will revisit P?Leyla again.Plitpoint on this convo 8/19
The Guza being gone and Conforti left in charge stuff is false. Yes his mother was ill, which was why he missed the Emmys, but he has remained in charge. He was on set as usual and as recently as last week.
Thanks. Do you know how he reacted tot he raitings? How was his visit tot he set?
No he was just heading in as usual when my friend saw him as he often sees him at the studio. And I'm sad to say that as long as GH remains at least number 2 in the demos, then Frons and ABC are satisfied. Guza is not in any danger. As a former viewer, I wish that wasn't true, but it is.
That's ridiculous. Given the success she's been for NS and SN in general KMc (and JT)=gold with Frons right now.
NS2 ratings are garbage and can't even reach a million viewers like NS1 did.
NS1 couldn't even reach a million after episode 1 and 3. However Sri has done something Guza has never been able to do and Frons loves Sri for this: build an audience. The ratings at least for the first 3 episodes of NS increased with each episode. Guza's never been able to do that with NS or GH.
NS2 contiues to build viewer's week after week. expect NS3 after the holiday's with Kim MC directing quite a few.
Scrubbies?
What day does Patty propose over loud spearker?
What day does Anna, Liz, etc talk to Robin about saying No?
The same day he gets mad about Matt flirting with his other girlfriend.
No. Patty proposes on Aug 21 and it continues to Aug 22. Anna, Liz is the following week.
Aren't Anna and Liz etc around on Th and Fri when this all goes down?
Not the OP but yes they are but they insert their opinions to Robin the following week. Patrick is a determined guy over the next few weeks.
8/17
No, that's how the scene goes. Patrick gets in Matt's face for hitting on Leyla. They spar. Leyla gets mad and tells Patrick she's a grown up and doesn't need his help or defense and walks off. Next episode Patrick's asking Robin to marry him.
no that is not the next episode. The Patrick compensating stuff is on Tuesday. The proposal is on Thursday.
Wednesday is him setting up the proposal, Thursday is him asking, Friday is Robin's reaction and answer. None of that changes how the Patrick/Matt/Leyla scene plays out.
Re: NS: Episode 6
It's Patrick grappling with the idea that he could end up in that same situation. In a position where he could one day be isolated from her, he could lose Robin one day and that he could very well end up as a single father before he's ready, if you can ever be ready anything like that I guess. It's Patrick's POV on Robin's health and what that means for him. If you're not interested in that then I guess you won't like the episode
Sounds great. Does he talk to Robin about it?
Some, it's one of the more Scrubs-centric arcs this season in that it's a comparison of their relationship to this couple but it's Patrick as the lead in that story.
As usual the Leyla stuff is being totally overblown. The situation isn't even about Leyla. It's Patrick's ridiculous quest to try and make up for his past behavior now that he knows he's having a little girl. He sees Matt acting like a pig regarding a woman (Leyla) and gets in his face about it. It's not about Leyla. It's about a man treating a woman poorly. Patrick doesn't have any in depth conversations with Leyla and Robin doesn't have a problem with it either other then finding it humorous.
Yeah, they chose the wrong gull. Totally taints all that comes next.
I'm going to be as nice as possible here but that's silly. The proposal has nothing to do with Leyla. The whole thing with Matt doesn't really even have to do with Leyla. It's about a man's treatment of a woman. If you're going to let some silly wacky hijinx thing that lasts one day and several scenes ruin what ends up being an extremely sincere and loving proposal from Patrick then I don't know what to tell you.

How accurate is the news that Kmc is not resigning, because it seemed that she and Jason were pleased with their upcoming storylines, and she will be back for NS3.
I'm not an insider, but knowing that KMc contract drop was on SoapDish and not from a proven insider, I wouldn't give it much or any credit.
What we have heard from proven insiders are what you've mentioned, as well as mentions that KMc might be directing a few NS episodes. I would still use a grain of salt on anything we hear that isn't from an official source, but it sounds encouraging.
