Out actor Chad Allen is heading to primetime as the gay love interest of Dr. Kyle Julian on the SOAPnet series General Hospital: Night Shift, a spin-off of ABC's Emmy-winning General Hospital.

Chad, known for portraying Matthew Cooper on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman and the Donald Strachey mystery movies on here!, has been cast in the role of Eric Whitlow for three episodes of General Hospital: Night Shift, it was announced by Brian Frons, president, Daytime, Disney-ABC Television Group. The SOAPnet series, which is the network’s most-watched of all time, follows the lives of doctors, nurses and patients as they embark on journeys of self discovery, love and heartache. His first appearance on air is TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23 at 11:00 p.m., ET/PT on SOAPnet.

In the storyline, Eric is introduced as a patient in need of a liver transplant. First-year resident Kyle Julian (Adam Grimes) will help Eric's family find a suitable donor, while developing a relationship with him in the process.

“We're delighted to have Chad join our show because not only is he a remarkable actor, but he's also an amazing activist. For years, I have been inspired by Chad and welcome the honesty and authenticity that he will bring to our show,” said headwriter Sri Rao.

First Monday in August everyone was back. July was like a ghost town in the main offices.
How is NS2 doing? I am so in love with that show?
I don't know exactly but I think they must be good. They are already talking about a season three and also talking about maybe doing another original program was some kind of joint spin-off for OLTL and AMC.

Not the OP but I did hear that they would be in it again if they do another season and that the show is gaining speed.

Patrick Proposes! Tomorrow! I'm hearing a loud speaker may be involved. As previously reported, Robin says no and takes off. Matt Hunter weighs in and tell the ladies of GH that Patrick will be cheating on Robin soon and to remember he called it first. When Robin takes off she heads to the park and Patrick finds her there. He assures her his proposal has the truest of intentions and that it's because he loves her. Robin still says no.
Still hearing that Matt Hunter is a Drake. OR is he a Scorpio?

Oh and one other little know fact KMc was approached last Wednesday with options of directing not only Night Shift 3 but also some epi's of GH. NS3 continues with ever increasing positive buzz. Also concerning the recent influx of calls, well they have been continuing. Female fans have suddenly become outspoken and are demanding more positive representations of the female characters. You will continue to see KM's character shown in a positive light, along with reestablishing NLG. BH continues to receive large numbers of positive calls. As well as KS and LW. Funnily enough B.G. fav JMB has not.

October 21/ Big day for Scrubs fans. The first of three big days that will occur between October 21 and the end of November ;-)

The baby is born during sweeps. Robin accepts the proposal on the 21st.

Yes and they decide to get married right away but she goes into labor before they can.

I actually agree with you. I thought they should have gone with Georgie too. But Robert sings Waltzing Mathilda to Robin on NSII just like he did when she was a little girl and anyway. I don' twrite the show. If I did her name would have been Georgie.
So she can go by Mattie for Patrick's mom?
hmm, hadn't thought about that. There's a song called Waltzing Mathilda that Robert supposedly sang to Robin when she was a child and he sings it to her again or actually I think she sings it to him, when he's sick on NSII and somehow that becomes the baby's name.

Patrick works at getting Robin to say yes. Its not like he doesn't mention it again between now and then.
