Do you know how long her contract is?
I've heard one year and two years but getting info about her from anyone is nearly impossible at the moment.
Chat Up, any further news on the upcoming baby storylines? Will Carly's and Robin's eggs get mixed up in the lab? Or a Jaxs and Patrick sperm switch?
The last time I spoke to anyone about the baby storyline I was told that it was not going to be played that way - they are invested in the social impact of the HIV pregnancy
I don't mean to step on Chat Up's toes but I heard something recently that seemed very opposite what they'd heard regarding the actress who plays Leyla. I've heard that TPTB actually think she's a great find/great actress and are all excited by her and can't wait to use her a lot more in 2008.
Trust me, I had to shake my head at that information too but as soon as I heard it, I thought of Chat Up saying that the people behind the scenes were noticing deficiencies, but apparently it's quite the opposite.
You aren't stepping on my toes and you may be right, depending on who you are talking to.
The folks I spoke with in November were most unimpressed but they haven't been able to sway anyone else.
Are you saying that there are key people that really do think she is good? What story do you think they can give her? And with whom?
Well there are clearly some people who think she is good because there were very loud rumblings weeks ago that the producers were going to trigger the out clause in her contract. But whoever was leading that battle has clearly lost it - either for the time being or for good - I don't know.

And why do they seem to be pushing her so much? Do they like her that much?

I had a discussion in Oct/Nov with someone about Patrick and I was told it was all about bringing him to his knees and then redeeming him.
Hello Chat Up! Have you heard anything about a sperm switch in Robin's pregnancy storyline? Guza made some cryptic references.
I haven't heard that. I have been told that they are taking the s/l very seriously.
The HW was very likely just trying to create drama and tension around the story to create interest.

Not at this point.
This storyline is going to receive a big media push and I would expect it to be like Fort Knox when it comes to details leaking out. They will want to control the information flow.

I am going to post this once and only once and then you guys are on your own. I am posting this in the IL because I can't answer questions and should probably not even be posting this.
There is misinformation being deliberately fed to the soap magazines by two individuals connected with GH and its been going on for a little over a year. This information influences some things published by the mags, but more specifically it is being done because these individuals know that its being leaked. These individuals have an agenda that runs contrary to what the writers intend, but those in charge are not taking action because it currently serves their own agenda.
Breakdowns are generally accurate, although I know of at least 5 occasions where they were officially altered before they were given to their list of approved outlets in the last three weeks. They also did this heavily in July and August of this year.
My point being is this. I have seen a lot of legit insiders over the last year that are posting their information here. It is obvious to me that they work for one of these outlets because they are relaying the same false information that the previously mentioned individuals are telling the mags. So my advice is this. Be cautious. Sources can be legit, honest, but also fallible due to no fault of their own. They wouldn't even know that some of their information (particularly as it relates to long term plans) are in error. Insiders that work at GH or ABC are far more rare, but much more reliable than those that obtain their information through mag sources. (source)

They're on pretty heavily starting the week of the 17th until New Years. NB is not. You will only see her once more before NY.
Do we get some of that "chasing" stuff on the 17th before Mac tells Robin about Georgie?
If people are expecting blatant chasing, you're in for a dissapointment. Let's just say that Patrick's form of chasing is just to always be there...and he will be...very much! (source)

Real reunion. Robin agrees to the compromise but only if he promises to seriously consider fatherhood. He agrees.

Georgie's death motivates her to accept the compromise. Leyla is not mentioned...because she's not an issue...He wants her, only her...Robin has known for weeks that Patrick 'chooses' her! (source)

Not hte same insider but they are reunited before she gets attacked. Here is the chronology.
- Robin turns to Patrick after Georgie dies. Not sure if that includes sex or not
- NYE they reunite and sleep together
- Robin is attacked
By the way I am the same insider who last week said don't expect an apology from Patrick to Robin at all even though he apologizes to Leyla. That scene should happen tomorrow. I also said that the pursuing was being made a much bigger deal than it was.

Yes. Guza likes the character and wants he to work. He realizes that she won't if she stays in Scrubs story in any significant role.

Different poster. What I heard is that Guza liked the third party angst but he also realized Leyla was taking a huge hit because of it.
