Why does Robin confront Patrick?
He messes up another candidate when he informs Carly of Robin's plan to maybe use her husband's sperm to get pregnant. Patrick spills this to Carly, when Carly shows up for her own appt with Kelly. Carly is thinking about becoming pregnant herself. (source)
Robin confronts Patrick on the 18th about sabotaging her plans on leaving GH. Earlier that episode he overhears Kelly and Robin talking about Robin possibly leaving GH. Patrick sabotages that plan by locking her in surgery with him for that week. She confronts him. (source)

We already have. Remember the motorcycle ride? Patrick does not like Robin moving on with her life in any way, shape, or form.
Is Robin being written out of Patricks story?
No. That was never in the cards. They may have tweaked material to show them both "getting on with their lives" but they are still the story
why did they tweak the material that way?
Just to add to the tension. Some fans believe this is it and that both couples are moving on. That is short sighted. The focus is to put everything on the table.
It is all or nothing with Patrick and Robin. Patrick got stuck on the "all" part when it came to children--this was his fear. You've already seen Robin's. Her fear of commitment. Of trusting Patrick. Of not wanting to move in with him again for fear of ruining what they have. Now both of them got their worst fear handed to them by the other. Something big brings them together but that has already been spoiled to an extent.
Can you give us a hint as to what it is
Yes but it has already been spoiled twice. They are brought together by a crisis and it is NOT a death. I'm sorry I can't be more specific. It's a no no right now. Closer to the middle of sweeps I'm sure spoilers will be popping up though.
Are they actually going to give fans a reason to want them to reunite?
Yes, but as more than one scoopster has told you its a rough road. It is going to hurt hard-core fans a lot. But the payoff is there, just wait and see. Next week will be hard though, most of what you have heard is accurate about Patrick/Leyla etc. They are building up the tension/drama to make it that much more sweet when the other stuff hits.

You are incorrect. This is a Scrubs story. It is a necessary thread for what is to come. They signed the actress who plays Leyla because the foundation was already there with the NS stuff. They wanted Patrick's new relationship to not just be a "fling." Unless Leyla takes off in and of herself away from Patrick, I don't see this actress being on GH this time next year.
When does it happen?
Closer to the end of sweeps. I do know that it brings them together and there will be no doubt in your mind about them being THE couple.
I'm sorry but do TPTB realize that what they did to scrubs on NS ruined a lot scrubs fans faith in how they are willing to destory their characterizations?
I think TPTB as you call them expect it to blow over. They know the investment fans have put into this couple. And GH has a lot more viewers than NS.

So when do these scenes that make them seem like they're the story start? I mean no offense to your information, but this show doesn't fix things. So I'd just like an estimate of how much damage I'm going to be expected to swallow, and how small of bones they're going to throw our way in the meantime.

As you know GH does stories in broad strokes. It is not subtle. The stuff next week is a thread in the making of the bigger story. What do you want me to say? I'm saying what I know, that is all. I know some fans are bitter about the way its been handled but I don't conceive this stuff myself.

You've contradicted yourself. You want me to believe Patrick has a relationship with someone else 5 seconds after his breakup with Robin, they get back together in November and I'm supposed to by that they're THE couple? You really can't be serious.

There's nothing in next week's information to indicate that Scrubs are the story. From the sound of it, it's entirely about Patrick moving on with Leyla and Robin being shit on. I just want to know when the part about Scrubs being the eventual outcome starts. Are we not going to see signs of it till sweeps? End of sweeps? Next year? When? That's all.
I'm really not meaning to be difficult. I understand you don't have any control over what happens. I just want to know when I can expect to see that I'm supposed to be rooting for Scrubs, because if next week goes down as spoiled, I'm just not seeing it
Maybe you don't like this part of the story but it is still the Scrubs story. Just like the Liz/Lucky story is still playing out even if viewers don't like what they are seeing on the screen. You will see evidence that although Robin and Patrick try to move on with their lives individually that their hearts are not all that into it. This will escalate to the sweeps story which is really a renewal for them. The focus is on them learning from their mistakes and growing together.
So the next month is building Patrick's relationship with someone else, but his heart really isn't in it? All the while he's fucking with Robin's life? And then something happens to change all that?
Is that more or less the outline? I'm really curious about this supposed big event to get them back together, because I really don't see why they'd ever want to be with each other.

You may not be trying to be difficult but you are rearranging my words to suit your purpose. Honestly, you are being short-sighted. This story was meant to play out over Sweeps. Robin and Patrick still love each other. Hurt is there but it isn't a reason to end it all.
Can you please say what Robin is doing while Patrick is moving on?
Does she quit GH?
Does she go through a round of AI?
Does she date?
What stops her from going through with AI after her scenes with Kelly on Thursday?
Robin simply investigates her options AI, spermdonors, etc. in order to go forward with what she thinks she wants, Patrick or no Patrick.
As for if Robin leaves GH, I don't have confirmation on that actually happening. The possibility is there though and someone we know isn't too happy.

Tuesday
Robin goes to MC knowing Patrick is meeting Leyla there. She tells him she wanted to talk to him because they haven't talked away from work. She tells him she misses him and he tells her he misses how they would work together as a team. They both admit they've been trying to avoid each other but it doesn't work. Patrick admits he wanted to call her and apologize for the way things turned out. Robin is about to ask him if he's sorry they broke up but Leyla shows. Leyla thinks Patrick made plans with Robin so she decides to leave. Patrick stops her and tells Robin he's glad they talked but he has plans. Robin leaves and Leyla tells Patrick if he wants Robin back he needs to go after her. (source)

Friday
Robin invites Leo to meet her at the MC. Leo gets there and thinks she wants sex. Before Robin can explain she wants to discuss him donating sperm for her cause, Patrick appears and says the reason Robin asked him there was to discuss him fathering a child. Robin tries to explain herself to Leo but Patrick tells him about the list. Leo said as flattered as he is, he's not interested because it's clear she's doing this because she broke up with Patrick and is trying to prove something. Leo leaves. Robin gets angry and Patrick tries to reason with her because he thinks she's rushing into this. Robin tells him she's moving on without him whether he likes it or not. (source)
The baby daddy list is a joke among friends. It gets into the wrong hands, aka Leyla and Patrick. Patrick does not react well to the list. He attempts to sabotage Robin with the names on the list in a variety of ways.

There are no faked deaths for sweeps.
The killer is someone we're all familiar with and it's not Johnny, Anthony, Nikolas or Michael. It's a character they just want to get rid of.
There will be no kidnappings or hostage situations during sweeps.
There will just be murders during the event and you'll have more than one red herring. In the end, no one will have even suspected this person.
No one is pregnant during sweeps and no one becomes pregnant during sweeps.
The events of sweeps culminate in three couples having sex. I don't mean couples currently together such as Skate or CarJax. I'm talking Jiz, Logan/Lulu and Ric/Skye. This will be in December.
