  Kimberly is excited about the difference between the daytime and nighttime versions of GH. She explains: "The biggest difference is the writing. The story moves a lot quicker, and it's not so sentimental. I mean, no one cried in the first episode. I get fed up with all the drama, drama all the time. It's liberating to do something different. Maybe even add in some comedy."

• According to SID Online a NEW Preview Special is airing on ABC and SOAPnet that will give viewers an INSIDE look at General Hospital: The Night Shift and Previews for what will happen on General Hospital this Summer! The special will air on the ABC Television Network on Friday, June 29th in THE VIEW's timeslot (11AM EST/10AM PST) and on SOAPnet at midnight. (source)

Robin voices her wishes for the future to her mother. And Anna is unhappy when she learns that Patrick is not exactly on board with all her daughter's dreams.

Patrick says very hurtful things to Robin, without intending to cross a line he does

It is regarding Robin's medical issues, a touchy subject.
Patrick doesn't intentionally hurt Robin, but is insensitive about Robin's insecurities when it comes to becoming a mother. Carly's past remarks about Robins inability to become a mother come into play when she "warns" Patrick about a future with Robin.
Insider what does robin say or do after he says those hurtful things to her?
The conversation beings with Robin overhearing the exchange between Carly and Patrick. Carly tells him to be realistic. Patrick questions bringing children into the world who may lose a parent too soon, recalls losing his own. The possibility of being a single parent. Robin doesn't like her fate being predicted by anyone, says life is unpredictable for everyone and is put into a victimized/pitied position that she hates. This is all I have for Patrick/Robin that week.
how do scrubs end the convo?
There is no resolution at this time that I know of. Robin goes back to work angry, and Patrick returns to his paperwork. Beyond that I have no information.
One more question: Why are Carly and Patrick even talking about this to begin with? How does it get brought up?
