Chat Up:
Chat Up,
Many legit insiders have said that something big was supposed to happen for Scrubs at the end of May/beginning of June. We have, of course, heard since then, that the something big was pushed back or rewritten or something, for a variety of reasons. Since I am intrigued just as much by what was supposed to happen as I am by what actually does, are you able to tell us
what the big thing that was planned was. Were they really supposed to marry and how was that to come about?
Thanks.
There was a rumor that there was to be a proposal and/or wedding to end sweeps. I heard it a couple of times there was a lot of deliberate misinformation leading up to sweeps and I think that was part of it.
CU any changes coming for GH with the latest round of ratings stagnation? TIA
CU are the focus group results accurate in the IL? TIA
none that I've heard of - there continue to be rumblings about JFP being shuffled but it's not been confirmed.
I would be surprised that someone is posting actual results from a FG and not worried about being found out about it. *shrugs*
Why are focus group results so top secret?
Because you don't want your competition knowing what marketing research you are doing or what the results are - it's like sharing a playbook

Daytime Dish:
6/6
Robin is going to get hit with a case of second trimester hormones and she wants Patrick to satisfy her 'cravings'. He is worried that it could be bad for her or the baby after her health scare and he resists. She makes many futile attmepts at seduction before he is finally unable to resist her anymore. That is paraphrased from the actual outline.
any timeline and will we get some heat from them? I am dying here.
End of the month and into July. One of her seduction attempts has her joining him in the shower.
And he really resists?
For a while but not forever.
Horny Robin insider,
I know things are subject to change due to rewrites but thanks for the info:mrgreen:
Anything about the legal stuff will the be at odds?
They won't really be at odds. Most of that is being played for laughs.
Thank you!
Horny Robin Insider,
Is legal stuff , then her turning down living together, then horny Robin?
Yes.
Thanks
What is the response to Scrubs so far? did the babykick get credit for boosting ratings for that one day?
I don't really know. That's not my area.
thanks, any idea when JC is on screen? Is he a Drake?
Dr. Hunter first shows up on June 20th. He is not a Drake.
There is no Robin is horny arc. It is one scene after they get back from jail and after Patrick asks her to move in. It is the telling Patrick what she wants scene. She wants him but she also is trying to stop the tension over moving in together.
they make up ?
I told you all this a couple of days ago. None of this is a huge fight. Scrubs are the light couple for the summer so if you are expecting heavy angst forget it. Patrick asks her to move in. she says no. He pouts. She tells him what she wants (i.e. sex). A few days later he seeks advice. It gets misuderstood. Wacky hijinks ensue. That is it.
Correct. It's also a very short scene. It's exactly like the kiss and cut yesterday. About 10 seconds total.
Yep. The only real difference is that Robin is a bit more aggressive from the description I was given. It isn't sweet as much as it supposed to be playful.
Okay.. What happens after the lawyer crap??
Why confused. I told you all that too. The lawyer hijinks are resolved by them deciding to live together.
Most of the Scrubs stuff that is coming up is reported accurately on the board already. (source of the above)
TY. Who is getting the propsal Skate or Scrubs?
Sonny/Kate. There was never any proposal planned for Robin/Patrick.
When is Noah back on screen?
As I said before, RS is due on set in a few weeks.
How about Finola?
Don't quote me on this as I'm not 100% sure but I believe Rick-as-Noah will be back before Finola. My understanding is that Anna and Eli Love will come back to PC around the same time.
And now I'm really done answering questions.
Patrick will be sharing most of his airtime with Robin this summer. he will be seeking Legal advise about his rights to his and robins child. along with that they will have lighter stuff. Scrubs are one of the only solid couples this summer, there will be no third parties. if you dont believe me fine, but its true and you will soon see patrick being all about robin and their baby.
*believe me or not*
Patrick figures that out by the end of next week so that's not the issue. Patrick fully commits himself to the baby by early week of June 16th. Patrick wanting to commit to Robin is the issue.
Why is he hesitant to commit to Robin?
The show just doesn't want him to commit to Robin. It's not something that's going to be addressed onscreen as an actual issue. It's just how it is.
What is the mindset for that? Is it Robin the character or Patrick the character?
Both. Guza doesn't view them long term, well Guza doesnt' want to view Patrick as a longterm romantic partner for Robin.
Patrick is committed to the baby only and that becomes very clear after the health scare. Why do you think he only suggests moving in after the baby is born, to combine things, so the baby doesn't live in a closet and have to split time. The moving in suggestion plays more like convenience than a man wanting to spend the rest of his life with Robin and their baby.
The deal with Patrick/Robin is this. It goes back to how Guza and Frons envisioned the Patrick character when he first came on the show. Guza envisioned him as GH's player doctor and Scrubs was a short term stop while he got the Robin/Jason/Sam triangle going. Frons was never gung ho on the triangle and instead envisioned Scrubs as a couple. To this day that is why the writing can be so disjointed. Guza would still love to have his manwhore doctor but after the debacle that was the NS ratings dive and ratings tanking last fall and winter he has been reigned in in that regard especially with NSII beginning. Still he is doing what he always does. Being petty in the way he does what the bosses tell him to do. Scrubs are and will be together but it is not a story with much meat.
As far as the engagement I have no idea. I just know that the wacky lawyer hijinks ends up with them living together.
Patriick not wanting to commit to Robin is not the issue at all. He wants them to be a family. His love for Robin has finally translated into loving the baby. Robin is the one who scoffs at them living together.
About wedding rumors:
The marriage rumors for various couples, not just Scrubs, was intended to determine the future of various couples. If you recall, the first rumors were of Jason and Elizabeth followed by Patrick and Robin.
It may have been two-fold with the Robin/Patrick info but the primary purpose of it being put out this time was for leaks because the show has no intention of marrying or having R/P get engaged. Their info was sent out with specific purpose and many got caught over it.
End of June
Robin introduces Maxie to a new doctor.
I went back and read the pages surrounding the above Scrubs scoops. There was a piggybacker answering questions at the same time, it was addressed and those posts were not put in the IL. It looks like the previous post has answers from more than one person. Below are some of the missing posts. Hopefully DD can sort out the rest.
- Patrick's move in suggestion does come off as more of a convenience because he stumbles across his words. It is very clear he does not mean it like it first sounds.
- I didn't post any further details following a post about dropping marriage rumors for various couples. The information relative to commitment between Patrick and Robin should be attributed to someone else.
- Yes, the information may have also addressed some leaks relative to storyline. It also aids in the development of future storylines especially determining the potential for ratings.
- Honestly that is a silly question if you know the character of Patrick at all and if you read my answer in the first place and it is silly questions like this that make me want to never drop spoilers. It isn't just for convenience. The way he words the initial question makes it seem like that but that isn't the reason and he tries to explain to Robin. Also Patrick is not a very self aware person. He thinks the world should work the way he wants it.
So were you the one that said that patrick doesn't want to be commited to robin but just the baby?
No I didn't say that. (source of the above)

June 13th
A terrified Patrick confesses to Liz how much he wants his baby with Robin. Elizabeth reassures Patrick that Robin and their baby will be fine.
Patrick and Robin have an intimate conversation after the ultra sound indicates things are fine for Robin and the baby.
They didn't film an ultrasound scene. They just mention the results. (source of the above)
6/8
Robin's health issues will show Patrick what it is he wants and give him motivation to fight for it. Once Anna, Eli and Noah are onscreen, Scrubs will start to move ahead much faster. The health scare will bring Patrick to his senses. The parents will give both of them much needed advice and the courage to take the steps they really want to take.
These spoilers cover the summer and early fall. (source)
6/9
In regards to Patrick and Robin. They will go back and forth. The information I have says no plans to get married. No plans to firmly commit. They just stay as they are. That could change but thats what I know. (source)
