GH Casting Scoops!
Vanessa Marcil (Brenda): As previously reported, an offer went out to the actress, but after months of silence, it appeared to be a dead deal. "Not so," insists a set insider. "Right now, she's shooting a movie. She's supposed to be done around the end of July. She's always been receptive to the possibility of coming back, so it's just a question of if she gets another offer between then now and then. If she does, it may have to be pushed back, but don't be surprised if she's not back on the show before too long." Guza admits he's an unabashed Marcil fan. "All these [Brenda] references and teasing, like Jax going to Rome, is deliberate," smiles the scribe. "We're not trying to mislead the audience. We truly believe, that at some proper moment in the future, Vanessa will waltz in the door and all hell will break loose in Port Charles."

On NS2, Robert's 2006 GH storylines never happened. Robin has been in contact with her father for years, but kept quite for security reasons. They haven't seen each other in awhile, however.

Week of June 23rd
Anna returns, ready to play grandma.

The big stories of the summer are Jolu, Maxie and her men, Skate, Scrubs and the mob. That's been the plan since March and while Im sure people are going to beat their drums and chant mantras about massive rewrites, the fact is the only substantive changes made to the outline Guza submitted in late February are in regards to Scrubs and they have to do with Finola's "enhanced" contract. The rest is pretty much going according to the plan.

Patrick goes to see Diane this coming Friday. Robin gets Alexis either Tuesday or Wednesday (2 or 3) because of him filing papers to see the baby now. It escalates to court the following week when Robin refuses to back down despite Patrick filing papers. She has this wacky idea that it is her body and if she doesn't want to spend time with Patrick then she shouldn't have too. Don't ask me how it even gets to court because no judge in their right mind would use precious docket time to listen to a lawsuit that is saying she is pregnant with my child so I should get access to her body. Unless of course we were back in the middle ages. Isn't Guza's comedy fun?
Do they break up is that why Patrick files for custody?
He doesn't file for custody. He files for visitation with his fetus. Yeah I don't get it either
