Robin confides her fears to Elizabeth. Elizabeth tells Patrick that Robin really doesn't want to raise the baby alone even if she won't admit it, which Robin overhears.

Patrick doesn't know how he'll fit into the baby's life and later finds Robin in distress.

Monday, June 16
Patrick won't let Robin out of sight. Mac makes his feelings clear and doesn't think Patrick is responsible enough to care for Robin. Robin assures Patrick she doesn't share Mac's views. Patrick and Robin are surprised when Epiphany arrives and announces that Mac hired her to be Robin's nurse.
Wednesday, June 18
Patrick and Robin trick Epiphany into going back to the hospital in order to spend time alone together but they're soon interrupted by a knock on the door.

Patrick stands up to Mac, who makes a surprising move of his own.
Friday, June 20
Robin enlists Maxie's help in getting Mac to ease up on Patrick. Patrick wants Robin to move in with him after the baby is born.

That's not entirely accurate.

He wasn't ordered to give "nothing but good times to Scrubs" and he wasn't excluded from NS2 because of Scrubs.
It was agreed that there would be no third parties in the future but there is no guarantee of only puppies and rainbows.
And he was excluded from NS2 for a variety of reasons not the least of which is Frons wants him to concentrate on GH and only on GH.

There is a proposal in the works. The timeline has changed enough that I don't feel at all comfortable saying when.

chatup why does a story like scrubs have to stall out and be postponed for FH or RS? I don't get the logic of changing a timeline for contract players for 2 guest appearances that really do nothing for ratings anyway. Can you explain the reasoning to me?
It's not really been stalled for RS/FH, it was more stalled due to the ongoing rehab project. Once RS and FH indicated they would come back - that added into it. And then the public battle re: FH and Y&R, now they have to write a more substantive story for Anna.

Chat Up is there any chance of a creative overhaul at GH in the "near" (during the spring/early summer) future, or do you think it's going to remain all squabbling and no action?
Today's probably not a good day to ask me as I'm feeling rather unoptimistic on a number of fronts.
On the upside, I would say the surge of OLTL has made more than a few people uncomfortable.

Was anyone here on SD this morning when Chat Up supposedly said that TPTB are not going to try and resign JT and Kim when there contracts are up next year? I was wondering if that was true or someone's very overactive imagination or spin
That wasn't what I meant though I see now that's how it was taken.
What I was trying to clarify is that I often see people asking if KMc/JT are going to re-sign this year or negotiate for more money/more screen time. Those options don't exist for them. They are under contract for one more year - under the terms and conditions that they agreed to when they signed UNLESS they take their outs. If they don't take their outs, it's business as usual.

CU, it seems this season of NS is even more pressure on KMc and JT than last time. It's all on their shoulders and after the memories of last season and their story still not being completely steady and almost a comedy, they have to be nervous. This seems like a lot to throw at them and still have them carry this. Any thoughts on this?
don't think they are that nervous - they are the proven leads but it's still an ensemble show. Most actors and I would put those two in this group, like to work, they like the challenge of big scenes, lots of material etc so I would say they are more likely welcoming it.

Do you know if they are at all concerned about JT and KMc's outs coming up? I mean if they keep pushing the story back, would that leave any time for them to really do the story if one or both take their outs? It seems like they think they have all the time in the world but they really don't if the actors leave.
Outs are always a concern to management. that being said, just because an out is taken it doesn't mean the end can't be negotiated - they can ask the actor to stay for another month or two to wrap up a story

CU, could you explain to me how the vacation stuff is tagged on at the end of their time? I think I saw someone said that they have to work the number of days they took vacation past the last day of their contract. is this true? Do they not have set vacation days as people in corporate?
Generally no, they don't have vacation as part of their benefits. A contract is for a total number of days - they are allowed to take days off with the number negotiated during contract time but those days are then owed at the end of the contract.
Different actors can negotiate different terms and so that's a general answer

Will the child be a dream Robin has or will he be kind of a guide for she and Patrick to navigate the issues they have related to parenthood?
My understanding is the role was created with the idea of "Jagger" returning (I think a casting notice went out under a different name). I haven't heard much further

I can tell you this with certainty. Recent prolific posters in the IL are the bearer of fanfic and a lot of misleading information, as you will see before June is over. There are far less changes going on than some would have you believe. When you hear things that are not onscreen before your eyes, listen to your brain, not the cheerleaders.
TPTB believe they know the formula that the audience wants for GH.

I told you all that this health scare was a way of Patrick realizing he wants it all. The "taste of the future" thing is him realizing that right now he will not be with the baby like he wants to be i.e Robin won't move in with him. The one piece of info I got wrong was it was him saying we should get married. I guess he says we should live together instead. Sorry about that wrong piece of info. (source of the above)

What does he envision as a taste of his future? Does he like what he sees? And what is Robin telling him exactly what she wants?
The taste of his future is him envisioning not having the access to the baby like he wants. Remember this is right after Robin refuses to move in with him. This prompts him to seeking legal advice down the line. I believe the Robin telling him what she wants is her seducing him but it isn't a big deal from what I know i.e. just another kiss and fall to the couch or something like that

I only play the date game when I know for sure. I just know that the way of which they want the proposal to go has already been outlined. VERY romantic.

I'll be honest. It's not none quite yet. I do know that it will be a short engagement. So when it happens expect a quick wedding.

So if Scrubs are stalling then what are they doing all summer, fighting over the legal issues of the baby?

What's with the lecture? Why do fans have to enjoy bullshit and no payoff. You enjoy it, fine, enjoy it, but if others want to vent and be pissed that once again Scrubs is up in the air and everything is fluid, which with Guza means it will never come to pass, that's their right too.

BTW, the moving in that they talk about, that Guza was talking about in SID, is Patrick telling Robin they should move in together but only after the baby is born. Not before, not so he can take care of her during her bed rest, after the kid is born. She turns him down flat. If fans don't want to swoon over that that's entirely their right.

I just told you what's discussed with moving in above. If you don't like it that's not my fault.
I don't think that will be the end of the moving in discussions. It will come up again sometime.

Not really, Patrick just doesn't want to be cut out of his child's life. The lawyers come into play regarding access to the child.

If you're fine with how things are now then you'll probably like this upcoming arc and what's planned for summer.

There's an insider here who says that there's zero movement for Scrubs at least into July. When Robin turns down Patrick's request to move in together, that's the end of the discussion.

So what are Scrubs doing this summer then if they arent getting engaged or married? fighting over the baby, over blogs do we get any romance where do they stand exactly?
They'll be in limbo as a couple but they'll be dealing with Anna not wanting to be a grandmother still, Eli returning and Noah resurfacing.

Robin and Patrick are supposed to be living together by the end of July. that is how the wacky lawyer hijinks get resolved. Now I say supposed to be because it hasn't been taped yet.
I should make it clear to Patrick it all means living together as a family. not marriage.

So the person who originally scooped this arc was wrong/way off.
No I wasn't. The only thing I was wrong about was what he asked her. I was right about is wanting to move things forward. I was right about her balking. I was right about how that combined with Mac's interference makes him seek out information. I am right about how misunderstandings abound from that.
I'm not negating anyone. what I posted before the Scrubs board spoilers came out is what is happening. the only thing I got wrong was a proposal instead of moving in. Now the person who said that Patrick is solely about access to the baby is wrong.

maybe i can help:
mac has patrick arrested and taken to the station and robin has maxie take her there in a wheelchair to get him out. (maxie and robin bond over mac interferring in their sex lives.)
they go back to robin's apartment and patrick asks about all the swatches in the "closet." robin says it's not a closet it's gonna be the nursery. patrick is surprised: "you're gonna put the baby in the closet?" robin tells him to save it, since she's had that conversation with her mom and maxie already. so patrick tells her the crib she wants in there isn't going to fit and robin says she measured it.
pat says that's dumb and she should just move in with him, there is plenty of room even if they hire a nanny. patrick says, "you and me. we're a family now. i want us to live together after the baby is born."
robin turns him down and says she's having the baby by herself. patrick gets pissed and says she talks a good game about wanting him involved but it sounds like she'd be happier if she hit the sperm bank instead. she says that she loves patrick and he loves her but he got scared when she was in trouble with the kid and now he's overcorrecting and she doesn't want to be the reason he changes his life. pat says she's scared to count on him and she'll be disappointed and she won't give them a chance as a family.
