What has happened to GH? The once great daytime drama has become such a dark and dreary show. I don't recognize it anymore. The characters and stories are flat and tiresome. Where are all the families that were once the main focus? Where are all the stories focused around the hospital? Where is the love? I fail to understand why GH continuously brings on new characters when the show has phenomenal and talented veteran actors portraying characters who haven't even begun to show their true colors.
When I think of the waste of talent, such stellar actors as Nancy Lee Grahn, John J. York, Finola Hughes and Rick Hearst, to name a few, I wonder how anyone watching this drivel disguised as a daytime drama hasn't change the channel by now. GH has become nothing more than a cheap rip-off of shows like The Sopranos. Mob bosses, violence and dark overtones are thrust down our throats, sucking the air out until we can longer breathe.
It would seem to me that the show would benefit by bringing back some of the spectacular storytelling, writing and acting of the past. Please bring back GH, once the greatest soap opera ever! Please spotlight some of the phenomenal actors that graced the screen every day and made me believe in their characters, root for them, hate them, laugh and cry with them, and above all, fall in love with them. - Sue Demers.

This is soooo depressing and sad that the writers has a good actress like Kimberly being destroyed on a Soap. Why can't they have Patrick confide in his brother or Maxie. They are good with EMMA. This Liz thing is about to get on my Last Nerve.
All fans, you should read Soapnet/SoapZone. It is even more depressing. I don't know how much of the CRAP I am going to continue to read. I have already cut way back on watching the show.
It is Disgusting, Degrading a wonderful Character, and down right to Stupid to watch. I can understand why the Rating are so Low. Many long time fans have had it with Guza.
We ask for better scenes for the SCRUBs and in my opinion, it is getting worse. They are most Definite driving me away.
I was looking around and found this write up just after the wedding:
"This past week, I remembered what GH use to be during its heyday. I thought about Anna and Robert, Tony and Tania, Tony and Bobby, Frisco and Felicia, and yes, Luke and Laura. I thought about the love/hate relationship between Alan and Monica that was always more about love than hate. I remembered actually wanting to tune in day after day to see what was going on with GH’s lovers. Seeing the Scorpios back together, I thought about other GH families (and poor Maxie, a motherless child, who seemed to have peace for a brief moment in time when she watched her cousin Robin being embraced by her own mother). Anna back as the Scorpio family matriarch? What I wouldn’t give!
Robin and Patrick’s wedding gave all of that back to me."
The writers at GH have forgotten the love in the afternoon. If they want to raise their ratings....they should get back to basics.
Does any one realize that Robin and Patrick have not had ONE day of blissful marriage.
Everyone is so disatisfied with the storyline....the only redeeming part is Patrick and his love for his child. It is truly sad that Robin can't LOVE her child.
This was supposed to be about a HIV, professional woman having a "normal" real life event - pregnancy, marriage. Instead it is sending the signal that if you are HIV and you almost die from SID (was that the initials for the bleeding disorder) then, you will get PPD and oh, maybe two personalities (as I have been reading)...
ENOUGH ALREADY.....
I JUST DECIDED THAT LIFE HAS ENOUGH SHIT IN IT....I DON'T NEED TO DESTROY MY IMAGINARY SOAP LIVES....
I'm going to remember the Robin of old. Rewatch the wedding and pretend her and Patrick left for Paris....happily every after.
Robin's character is in a very dark, disturbing and heartfelt place and for me to hear it makes me really depressed. There is so much uncertainty happening in this world that I wish the writer will give me just one hour daily of blissful happiness with this two great actors with unbelievable chemistry.I want the storyline that GH use to have years ago when family dynamics and loving/happy couples are the centre of daily GH show.Perhaps slowly your viewers will start tuning in again and the show can be salvage. Is that too much to ask from the writer?
Robin had better have a brain tumor. She would "never" cheat on Patrick ....
Why are you destroying her character?
She would also NEVER abandon her child - PPD or not...
Get a reality check here....
i absolutley agree what happened to scrubs i mean i enjoy that there getting more airtime but come onnn does it all have to be so sad and depressing !!!! if they break scrubs upp i am done with gh. everything is soo depressing no pun intended these days
I agree I haven't seen a couple on any soap that the Writers (especially GUZA) treat a couple (SCRUBS) so bad that mostly all the fans are leaving.
It is Terrible how that have the character Robin being treated. It makes women look like Trash of the world. I would not like my daughter to watch this soap. Because after 30 years of watching GH, is I am going to leave this soap to fans who like to see how the writers treat women, even though its just a fiction show.
Don't they know that we would like to see some happiness in the afternoon. We can look at people at work,at home, etc. to be depressed and sad. It horrible watching the show and the writers don't seem like they care and would like this storyline keep going.
GOOD-BYE FELLOW FANS. GOOD-BYE GUZA/FRONS FOR GOOD FOR MAKING MY FAVORITE COUPLES (SCRUBS) PLAY THESE PARTS AND NOT PUTTING THEM BACK TOGETHER.
Does it seem strange to you that all the fans are voicing their concern, disdain, and DISSAPROVAL for the trash that is being written for Patrick and Robin ............
AND lots of fans are starting to give up and not watch anymore....AND TPTB are complaining and worried because the ratings are sooooo bad.....BUT they still won 't give us what we want.....SO am I the only one that sees the picture here...HOW STUPID DOES ONE HAVE TO BE TO SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM IS AND WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT.....
