From Cloud 9

• Michelle just called and said that they are all sitting down watching the Sims Scrubs video. Jason Thompson (Patrick) is there in the back, wearing a black T-shirt and jeans. Michelle says that his face was PRICELESS as he was watching it! It was hysterical, Michelle says, especially when they got to the part where he was singing the Winter Wonderland song. He was getting redder and redder as the video played, Michelle said. Kimberly McCullough (Robin) wasn't there yet
• After the video, Jason Thompson (Patrick) took the stage and said he was going to start the Q&A alone. He joked about the video and then commented about how cute the animated Kimberly was pregnant. Then he said he had a surprise for everyone. After a dramatic pause, he said “Kimberly is late.” The crowd erupted in laughter. He then said that they would be “stuck with me for a half hour or so.” He asked the crowd about the GNO that Minae & Kent had. The crowd clapped; they loved it. JT said they could get started with the questions and when Kim got there, they could go back to something if need be.
• First question was about NS2 – JT said he was a little hesitant at first, but is VERY EXCITED now; everyone is (HW, EP, cast, etc). They are shooting the fourth episode next week. It’s not written at all the same way. It is much more like a primetime show. One night on NS could take place over several episodes and there are multiple storylines going on every episode, not just one. He then asked if everyone remembered the character of Gwen from GH and how she’s on NS2, but is not playing Gwen. Dominic’s brother is great and Antonio (Jagger) is a really nice guy. He knows that last year was not what everyone wanted it to be, but… He then said how fun it was to “do their thing” and reiterated that is NOT like last year. They (Scrubs) argue about work stuff this time. JT said that Tristan Rogers is REALLY EXCITED about NS2 also and to be back in general and that Robert and Robin’s relationship grows a lot. He also mentioned that Finola was going to be on towards the end of the run. He said that GH and NS will be synched up this year, but only as far as Scrubs are concerned. Not really any of the other characters. You can watch one without watching the other, but for those who watch both, it’s not going to be two different worlds like it was last year. He then said something about it being hot in the room and asked if a fan could be brought in. [This actually was in reference to someone in the audience]. He said NS would be 13 episodes, like last year. He then joked that Kim was late because she was having a “Girl’s Morning Out.” Everyone laughed. Getting back to NS2, he said that he does miss Bradford/Spin and Steve/Jason and he was mildly surprised that Minae/Dr. Lee wasn’t going to be on NS2. He then mentioned that they were “shooting that this week”, which caused the crowd to erupt in screams, and JT said “yeah, I know.” I wasn't sure what exactly he was referring to because I couldn't hear what was said right before that.[this was in reference to them filming a scene where they find out the sex of the baby]
• Next question was about working with Carolyn Hennessy (Diane) and Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) . He said that it was SO GREAT, but he was “in my own head” most of the time and couldn’t enjoy it as much as he would have liked. He said that both of them are hilarious, especially together! He also said that he has wanted to work with John Ingle (Edward) for a long time because he is just so good. He then talked about what an “accomplished cast” they had at GH and that there was “no weak links.” Getting back to the courtroom scenes that aired this week, he said that he tried not to cry, but it’s really hard to talk about that stuff. He may have said something about KMc’s performance in that scene, but I couldn’t quite hear it. [He said that he tried not to look at Kimberly because she was tearing up, and that would get him going.] Then I think somebody asked about acting or approaching the scenes. His response was that “it’s a little bit of both” and there is a time where you just have to go with it and that can challenge you. He said that Laura Wright (Carly) and Rick Hearst (Ric) are THE BEST! [at making the most ludicrous lines work] If something is not working, then sometimes he can talk to the director about changing something minor, but you have to keep it going even though you might not feel comfortable with it. You try to make it work. He then mentioned that he would NOT have said “babymama” and the crowd erupted in laughter again. He then said they can change some things, sometimes, but there are also times where you are told that you just have to do it!

• The next fan to ask a question said that they kind of have an idea of what Jagger & Robin’s story would involve on NS2, but what will Patrick be doing. JT tried to do a little avoiding by saying only that “something happens.” The fan then talked about one of the NS2 promos that showed what is going to happen in the first episode. JT seemed to think that they were trying to trick him and said “that’s what you guys always say – there’s a promo about this and that.” [and then he ends up saying something he shouldn't]. He did then say that Patrick becomes chief [of staff] it’s kind of funny (it sounded to me like he meant funny as in kind of weird rather than “ha-ha” funny). He said that Patrick would be balancing their relationship and the baby and he likes that. He will also be involved some with Jagger and joked that at the end of NS2, Patrick and Jagger would “run off together.” That got a lot of laughs from the crowd. He also made a joke about how Patrick would get fired as Chief of Staff (his tone suggested that he thought Patrick might be too much of a rule breaker to keep the job, but I’m not sure since I could see his facial expressions).[Someone said, so no boinking of the nurses?" Which led into how Patrick would get fired for that as Chief of Staff]. He has read episode 4 since they are shooting that this week, but he has no idea what’s going to happen in episode 5 since he hasn’t seen it yet. Someone asked about Rick Springfield (Noah/Eli) showing up on NS2 and JT joked that he’s really busy with his dual role on GH and they are looking for a 3rd role for him maybe as Eli’s younger brother or something. He then repeated that as of now, Rick Springfield (Noah/Eli) would not be on NS2. JT then sounded like he was checking on KMc on his cell phone and joked that she was being coy and has been wandering around the hotel for an hour. Getting back to NS2, he said no Rick Springfield (Noah/Eli) on NS2, but Finola Hughes (Anna) would be.
• The next fan question was about Noah & Patrick. The fan asked where does the “Noah destroying Patrick” came from. JT seemed really surprised that it came off that way and said, “really?? Let me call Rick,” he said jokingly. He loves having Rick Springfield (Noah/Eli) back and working with him. He said that he didn’t know, but sometimes it feels like they bring Rick back so that Noah and Patrick can yell at each other. He hopes that there will be more development in the future. Right now he thinks that both Noah & Patrick are nervous with each other and for each other. Noah is especially nervous for Patrick. JT agreed that some of what Noah said was a little harsh, but then jokes that Patrick deserves it and was even told by someone (maybe Bob Guza????) after NS1 that he “had a LOT of work to do.” [JT said "Yeah, gee thanks"] He then asked the crowd about hearing that the fans wanted NS1 to be a dream. The crowd agreed and someone called it a nightmare..
• Kimberly finally showed up at about 20 min into the event and the crowd cheered loudly. JT said it was nice to see her. She apologized for being late, but said this time she had a “legitimate excuse” for being late. She said yesterday she had a flat tire, which some of the fans could back her up on because they saw it, and this morning when she got out to her car, the tire looked a little low, so she had to get it checked out. Michelle said that she was wearing a VERY CUTE dress with flowers and had an empire waist. KMc said hello to JT and the crowd and [she saw all of the gifts and said are we getting married?], there was some joking about how she’s never been married on the show and [she looked at him closely and said] how JT had “that look” in his eye again. [She said "you see it when you got up close", and he said "then they should step back"]. Then they both said good morning to each other and KMc said that she loves living in Venice and the beach, but it was hot in the city. KMc then asked what they had been talking about. JT told her about the Sims Scrubs video. {she hadn't seen the video and wanted to see it]. She then commented on how it looked like a baby shower in the room which reminded her of something funny that happened the other day. KMc was kind of all over the place while she told this story, but I’ll try to make it make sense. Her good friend Natalia (Livingston) lives in Oakland, so she doesn’t get to see her as much anymore. JT has experience with kids and KMc’s godson and JT are close. Anyway, she was showing off her new tattoo (see Michelle’s description in the earlier post) to Natalia when Natalia told KMc that the baby had a poopy diaper and KMc needed the practice for when Robin’s baby came. So KMc said she changed her FIRST diaper the other day and JT commented on how funny it was that he is good with kids and Patrick isn’t and that KMc hasn’t really been around them, but Robin is all about babies. LOL KMc then said how she never baby sat as a kid because she was the youngest child and was always too busy. Then KMc said what a good baby sitter JT is. When someone asked about the baby being a girl,[actually a fan tried to con her by saying that JT told us it was a girl] KMc said “who told you it was a girl?” KMc wasn’t willing to spill the sex of the baby. All she would say was that “it’s either going to be…..a boy……or a girl…..or maybe an alien.” She then joked that the condom didn’t really break, it was Casey the Alien, to which JT responded “ok, you’re really starting to freak me out now.” LOL
• KMc said that she is having the “BEST TIME EVER” shooting NS2 and that she’s really excited about Tristan Rogers (Robert) being on NS2. She said they had some REALLY good scenes together a couple of years ago on GH, but then it got dropped. She said that Robert doesn’t know that she’s pregnant, so that will be interesting/fun.
• A fan asked about their favorite kiss. KMc said she “vaguely recalls when they used to have sex” which got a laugh from the crowd. She said her favorite would probably have been the time that she said “shut up and do me.” She said that was fun, embarrassing, and hard to say, but fun. JT seemed to have a hard time recalling that scene and KMc was teasing him about not remembering and he was teasing her right back. KMc said one of their kisses was kinda hot (not sure which one she was referring to), but JT said “kinda???” suggesting that he thought it was hot. [Kimberly played like she couldn't remember the first kiss at the hospital. JT played offended that it was his favorite, but she didn't really remember it. The hot kiss was the 'Shut up and do me' one]
  
• Next question was about Patrick’s apartment and the couch and if they were gone forever, to which JT joke “the couch has been BURNED!” The crowd cheered that pretty loudly. They said that on NS2, they are at her apartment mostly and how comfy her apartment is. KMC was asked if Robin was going to be getting a bedroom anytime soon and she said that they are always having sex on the couch. JT said that he wants Robin to get a bedroom and then joked that Patrick and Robin are sleeping on the couch while the baby is in a closet…….LOL KMc said something about Patrick “wanting a bachelor life style.” LOL
• The next question was about a memorable moment for them in the pregnancy storyline and KMc said the day that Patrick felt the baby kick was REALLY SWEET! (Teri say AWWWWWW) JT then busted KMc for getting really attached to her pregnancy pillow and she admitted that she has. JT said he has to tell her that it’s just a pillow! That brought up the subject of Robin’s increased bust size, which KMc seemed to enjoy. She said that she was getting “sympathy boobs” and that they are getting bigger…..LOL JT said appreciatively that it was “awesome!” LOL KMc talked about a NS2 scene that they shot where she is laying face down on Patrick and was telling him not to look at them. LOL JT then said how “adorable” Robin is pregnant and in the Sims Scrubs Videos and then said something about him in the vid. KMc joked that maybe he “should learn something” [dancing] from his animation.
• The next question, I think, was a fan asking KMc if she would direct an episode of NS2 like Steve did last year or maybe if she would like to direct JT…..I couldn’t really hear the question all that well, but KMc said that it makes it easier to direct actors when you really know the actor well. Working with JT, she feels like she knows him well and then said she would love to direct JT. She coyly said that she thinks she “would be really nice to him.” JT said that would be great and it does help to know the actors that you’re directing. He said that KMc knows what she’s doing because she’s been in business for a long time now. He said that she really was a big asset to him and Patrick for two and a half years. He then said that KMc tells him what to do and joked that she usually does that in a “raised voice.” KMc mockingly said “raised voice?” in a “who me?” kind of way.
• KMc said that Patrick is coming towards the way JT is in real life with regards to kids and that for two and a half years, or up until last week, Patrick was full-on bravado. She said JT is not like Patrick. JT is a sweetheart and doesn’t have an attitude like Patrick does/did. She also said that unlike Patrick, JT WANTS babies. JT joked that that there was probably a couch somewhere if she wanted, which cracked everybody up. KMc said that she cares about JT a lot and hopes that it shows on screen. JT is easy to work with, where as Patrick on the other hand can be difficult to work with. KMc then mentioned that she like her outfit today and the crowd agreed. Getting back to working together, JT said that one day when they were shooting, he accidentally called her Kimberly. KMc said it was because he thought she wasn’t listening and he said “well you weren’t listening.” KMc said that she was just “in” the scene (acting wise).
• JT brought up his screen test with KMc and how nervous he was. He said that KMc has been doing this forever, so of course she wasn’t nervous at all, but he was VERY nervous. They told him that he would be playing Rick Springfield (Noah) ’s son and that made him a bit more nervous. Somebody walked him through the blocking and he just kept thinking about the whole thing. Then KMc showed up and casually said that he could come by her dressing room to run lines if he wanted. So when he went there, he thought he had gotten the room number wrong because he just kept knocking and there was no answer. Two years later, KMc told him that she had been in there the whole time he had been knocking.[She said she was sleeping]. KMc said that now he just yells “KIMBERLY”. JT joked that the fans now know that she was “very helpful” from the beginning.
• KMc said that they “had fun for sure,” which JT agreed with, and then she caught herself using the past tense and asked “why are we talking about it like it’s over?” LOL
• KMc brought up that whenever JT works with kids or babies, he plays with them even after the scene is over. She asked him if he remembered the cake scene and baby Jake (referring to Cameron’s birthday party in the park). KMc said that little boy was just looking at the cake the whole time they were shooting and reaching for it. After the scene was over, KMc asked the baby’s mom if the baby could have some of the cake and the mom said ok and when the baby got to the cake, he just grabbed a handful and was shoving it in his face. KMc thought that was funny.
• KMc said she hopes that Robin and Patrick’s baby looks like them unlike Nikolas’ kid, who she doesn’t think looks a bit like Nik. Someone in the crowd mentioned that Spencer’s mom was Courtney and KMc said that Spencer doesn’t look a thing like Courtney either.
• Next someone mentioned the due date of the baby, which they didn’t really answer. KMc said that she felt a little strange doing sex scenes with the belly, probably because of her Catholic upbringing, but she promised to “act it really well” despite it feeling strange about it. LOL
• The next question was about if it was tiring doing NS in addition to GH. KMc said that it’s not physically tiring and JT said that they feel an extra responsibility to do a good job. KMc said that soap actors have it really good, working only 3 days a week. She said most people work 5 days a week and now she and JT are doing that. She did say that some of the shoots last year ended up taking until 3 or 4 am and that was hard. JT said it more of a mental than physical thing and that sometimes the brain and emotions just shut off after a long day of shooting.
• The next question was hard to hear, but it must have been about fan encounters on the street or something like that. [He was asked whether he had adjusted to being recognized on the street]. JT says he loves it when that happens, but it really doesn’t happen that often because there are way more famous people than them for fans to run into. He said the fans are great and it means a lot to them when people tell you how much they enjoy the work you’re doing. He really does enjoy the work and it’s nice to hear that the fans appreciate it. KMc said that’s what’s nice about FCW and events like it – they get feedback. She likes to touch people with her acting and she then thanked the fans for the feedback. They said that they listen to their fans and hear what the fans want and they try their best to slip those kinds of things in when they can, but there is only so much they can do along those lines.
• KMc was asked about Finola and she said that Finola was really busy, but that she does know that Finola is coming in at towards the end of NS2. KMc would love for Finola to have a story line outside of Scrubs – something involving spying. KMc said a relationship between Noah and Anna would just be weird, but JT said that he kind of likes it. And as if by divine intervention, or maybe just impeccable timing, Finola Hughes walked into the event. The crowd ERUPTED into cheers and applause! JT told Finola that they were just talking about her!!! KMc asked the crowd “doesn’t she look beautiful?”
• Someone asked Finola if she was staying longer than the summer and if she would be having scenes with anybody else. Finola said they “don’t let me talk to anyone else” which made the crowd laugh. She has been asked to stay through/past November, but right now she doesn’t know for sure. The next section was VERY HARD to hear, but KMc asked for a muffin, Finola said something was “strange” and “ridiculous”, but I didn’t catch what she was talking about. [Finola was asked how she felt about Anna's obsession about being a grandma]. Someone in the crowd said that it seemed to come out of no where. [because Anna had always been written as strong, secure in herself, etc]. Finola brought up Anna being worried about being a grandma and then called said it was “an angle.” JT admiringly said that he was going to have to remember that phrase, as if he was going to use it the next time the fans were confused/upset about something that aired. LMAO
• KMc then brought up that “someone” toilet papered JT’s dressing room. Someone in the crowd thought that KMc had done it, but she quickly said that Kristen Storms “did a REEEEALLLLY GOOD JOB!” JT said it was so bad that he “couldn’t even walk in the room” and Finola mentioned that it was still there.
• KMc was talking about Finola and they mentioned something about Finola asking her stunt double if he wanted knee pads and he said no. That part was really hard to hear. [She said knee pads are really helpful, and inferred that's how she got where she is today - very jokingly]
  
• JT said they laugh constantly on the set, when they aren’t crying that is. LOL Finola said that she was watching them on set one day and they were arguing back and forth and then the scene started. Everyone laughed at that. KMc said that the directors have often said “we should have just filmed that!” KMc said her relationship with JT is some where between an “old married couple” and brothers and sisters.
• They were asked about the lack of attention that has been paid to Robin’s HIV status so far in the pregnancy. JT joked that “it’s an angle.” LMAO KMc said she hopes that it will be addressed. She said that it was really interesting that she started researching and learning about HIV/AIDS because of her character and now it is something that she REALLY cares about. She thinks that it will come to the forefront of the story near the end of Robin’s pregnancy, which in her mind is when it would become important.
• Not sure what the next question was, but Finola said that it wasn’t her idea, it was funny, but to her it was a blur. [Finola was asked about doing the red carpet and the shoe cam at the daytime Emmys. The shoe cam wasn't her idea] Finola then talked about her show How Do I Look, saying that it was “so inspiring” to give women something that one little piece that makes their lives better.
• Finola said that JT was a really good sport and JT said that it’s fun to do different stuff. KMc said that Finola was VERY funny and that made JT bring up how well she can kick! He sounded really impressed and KMc told him it was a roundhouse kick. JT said that during the blocking, they (the director maybe?) would ask Finola to kick with that leg and “WHOOSH”, Finola would do it. Then they would ask her to kick with the other leg and she could do that too. Finola said there is another kick coming up, but didn’t know/say who it was that she kicks, which suggests to me that it is not going to be Patrick thank goodness.

From the Scrubs Board

• JT is there right now and said this: "So I have a big surprise for everyone... kimberly's late. Again."
• He's wearing jeans, Chucks, and a dark shirt.
• Someone brought out a table on stage and Jt asked if that was for kimberly to dance on later.
• Said courtroom scene was hard to shoot
• Hard to watch Kimber cry
• Kimber just texted him. ["which room"]
  
• Jt:... uhhhhhh.. Same room as last year? And yesterday?
• Jt: when she comes in can we boo her?
• Fan: she's lost, that's why she'll late
• Jt: yeah, she's been running around the hotel for an hour
• Kimber looks at baby stuff.. "Are we getting married?"
• When asked what Kimber's favorite Scrubs kiss was:
• She answered: the "Shut up and do me" kiss.
• Oh, and JT mentioned that Patrick's couch has been burned!
• JT wants a couch for Robin's apt. They both do, so they can have sex if they can't have a bed room.
• Couch for them, closet for the baby.
• Kimber says she attached to the baby pillow. Jt makes fun of her
• She comes to work like kimber.. He walks normal.. Then she puts on the belly.. Jt walks like he's carry something heavy. Jt thinks she looks adorable in belly.
• Jt loves s/l cuz she has boobs
• Teling her about watching sims2 scrubs vid. "I was dancing"
• Kmc: maybe you should take after your animation
• Jt: maybe I shouldn't dance
• Talking about working on a film with kmc directing him. Jt says she talks to me with a raised voice but it would be fun

• Kmc says Patrick is getting to a place where JT is in real life

• Kmc says he saw her and got flustered. Kmc offered to run lines with him.
• He went, but she wasn't there (in her dressing room). He finds out she was actually in there sleeping so she didn't answer.
• They both love the twins who play Jake. They hope the baby that will play their baby looks like them.
• She feels awkward doing sex scenes while pregnant
• Jt: b/c it's a pillow?

• Fin agreed that it was ridiculous the way Anna reacted to be a granny.
• Kirsten Storms TP'ed JT and GV's dressing rooms.
• Fin says they bicker on screen and it looks like a scrubs scene but it's really them.
• After that, THEN they film the scene. Kmc joked the direcs say, we should have just filmed that
• Kmc says they're a cross between old married couple and siblings.
• Kimber loves her Emmy Dress and wants someone to have a big fancy wedding or party so she can wear it again.
• Someone asked if they were doing a birth on gh AND ns and she said, I don't want to do it twice!
• Kmc: I had to break up with him twice last year that was torture!
• Kimber talked about her motorcycle.. She was like, we're not supposed to talk about that when fin is here!
• Someone asked kmc how it was working with ASJ.
• Jt says: I love it.
• KMc says: You're such a goober
• Kimber and Fin both commented: He works all day without a shirt.
• Kimber was invited to ASJ's restaurant
• Jt says kimber lights up when fin walks on set.
• Says kmc/fin had a sleepover and were dancing and Jt wasn't invited
• Jt wants more scenes with Coleman,
• Forgot to mention that Kimber got a tatoo recently and wouldn't say what it was.
• Kimber is talking about the "best couple" award again and that she is really flattered.
• She got a look at her tatoo and that it takes up a good portion of her foot.
• JT loves Spain. Next trip after ns: Copenhagen, Iceland, Scandanavian area, and Stockholm.
• Jt made a comment about jc needing to shave and then they'll figure out if he's a drake
• Update on tatoo - It's something written in Samoan.
• She had a cute Sonya Eddy story. Yesterday, Fizz was in her line and SE mentioned she was hot. Someone offered to get her some water to cool her off and SE said, "I want Jason Thompson to come and fan me!" They all cracked up and Fizz said she would tell JT. So today, she told kimson, and they just laughed! Jt said he loved working with her and that she's lots of fun. Kmc called her a sassy one
• Kimson and Fin seemed excited about NS2 and asked everyone to please watch.
• Fin even read some of the scripts and said it was "soooooooooooo good."
• Kimber was trying to take a picture of the crowd and jt got in front of the camera with a goofy smile and a thumbs up expression. And jt tried to get out of it, and she was like no! Do it!
• THEY ARE FILMING THE SEX OF THE BABY THIS WEEK!!

• JT said he knows the sex of the baby but would not tell
• JT said that Scrubs are in a good place this season on NS. Better writing. He also says the arguments they'll be having are about baby names, lol.
• Robert doesn't know that she's preggers.
• JT is imitating KMc with the baby pillow. LOL. KMc says her boobs are getting bigger. She has sympathy boobs.
• Kmc says she feels like a little girl with Maurice, like protect me. With Steve he is really quiet and she's like a ball of energy, lol.
• Called Mo a big brother. She adores Kirsten. Wants to shop with her all day long.
• Someone connected to Patrick is coming to GH. Won't tell us who.

A few additions by me

• When Finola came in, JT offered his chair to her. He stood between them for awhile, at least until a hotel crew member brought up a regular chair. and put it on the right next to Fin's. JT looked at it like "you have got to be kidding me". Finola smiled and said "go ahead, take a seat". She said to the audience "you know how Porsches are made right? The drivers seat is higher than the passenger's, so when the guy looks over it the girl, he's sitting higher than her and feels more manly. Finola (on the bar chair) looks down at JT (in the regular chair) with this big grin on her face and says "Hello there". JT's face was priceless - totally put in his place but maybe loving it??
• A fan brought up Kimberly's motorcycle. Kimberly said that she had taken a couple lessons, but actually tried a friends smaller bike to try to get the hang of it. She's been learning to drive it around the back streets of Venice. Kimberly said that Finola did not approve of it. Kimberly said that Finola got on the motorcycle the other day and wasn't it hot?? Finola said that yes it was hot, but it was also dangerous. Kimberly said that she grew up with 2 brothers and she likes doing stuff the boys do, she didn't get to do that growing up so it's coming out now. JT didn't say one word, but both him and Fin did not seem very happy with the whole motorcycle thing. At all.
