Meanwhile, as Robin and Patrick get closer to proving she's guilty, Andrea finds out there was an eyewitness that places her at the scene of Brianna Hughes's murder. That witness? Edward Quartermaine. To what lengths will Andrea go to make sure Edward stays silent?

Guza: "We've brought Sweeps to September." He says sometimes you reward the audience when the story is read to be done, if it's not in sweeps, it's not in sweeps. They brought a real carnival to the parking lot outside the GH studio. He notes is's movie production values. He's very proud. The carnival will be the place for the culmination of the medical story, and put several secrets closer to beign exposed. Claudia/Michael, Dominic/Dante specifically.

Andrea drugs Edward. Edwards crashes into the carnival while driving there. Heart attack. "This is the generating incident." In dramatic irony, her attempt to get rid of the only witness leads to her own demise.

Byrne thinks it's a fantastic ending. Her character is run down by Edward's car. "Poetic justice," and she thinks good writing.

Edward innocently reveals to Andrea that he saw her leaving the Metro Court on the day of Brianna’s murder. Robin is anxious to get to Edward. Her mission to poison Edward initially thwarted, Andrea prepares to finish the job as the town’s carnival gets underway on Friday, September 4.

Robin/Patrick are brought into another mystery. Robin feels she has a knack for it. Patrick isn't sure it's the profession he wants for Robin. But decides if Robin goes in that direction, he wants to be beside her doing the same thing.

Wed 9/2 ANDREA steals Digitalis from the hospital with the intention of silencing Edward.
Thurs 9/3 Robin realizes that Edward could give her the answers she needs. Andrea's attempt to get rid of Edward is foiled.
Friday 9/4 All have agendas as the carnival starts; Edward's life is in danger. ANDREA'S quest to poison Edward continues.
