Thumbs Up!
General Hospital ~ Baby Blues
While many fans are upset with Robin’s behavior of late, we have to give props to GH for bravely taking one of its most beloved characters and exploring her dark side while trying to shine the light on the issue of postpartum depression. Ever since the birth of her beautiful baby, Emma, Robin has felt an aversion toward motherhood and has unintentionally placed her daughter in harm’s way on several occasions. Then, she graduated to ducking out on her husband and child to live vicariously through an unattached alter ego. Serious stuff. We may not like what she’s doing, but Robin’s actions have made us concerned and uncomfortable, just like absorbing drama should.
ABC HotSheet spoiler For the week of 4/6:
Robin survives her plunge into the frigid waters of the Port Charles harbor -- but after she continues to resist treatment, her marriage to Patrick might not be so lucky. It doesn't help that Robin keeps turning to Jason for support while Patrick is leaning on Elizabeth.

BP: If you could have a scene with a character that Sonny normally doesn't interact with, who would that be?
Maurice: I like working With Jason Thompson. I like that dynamic.

kay. We'll see. I'll bet right now Pip is going to talk to Liz about her suddenly closeness to Patrick.
Then I guess you will be shocked when Pip gets her I did not know you had PPD scene with Robin and Patrick when Patrick brings her into the ER
GH in May?
Easy as 1.2.3
1 person will die
2 people will get caught in a compromising position
3 people work together to keep a secret
4/4
Folks really want to know why some things are occuring on GH, Frons got chewed out for the Monavie situation on one of his soaps. All parties involved are either out, on their way out or facing stinging slaps on the wrists. Oddly enough the biggest Monavie person out there isn't being touched other than denied anything he wants, since his popularity has an insular effect. All other players are either no longer seen DC, are going recurring GV, or on their way out RH. One BH isn't an actual party involved, but she is feeling the affects also.
Some of SB's bitterness is that most feel like the complaints were driven by a certain fanbase. Another who became a participant at the bequest of a friend BA, is grateful he has a legitimate excuse to back gracefully out. And even those that have complained IR, aren't getting any pats on the back due to airing dirty laundry on set and no one likes that any of this has become any ugly mark on a once prestigious soap.

WTF????????
So, if I am reading and seeing things correctly a day or so after Patrick thinks his wife tried to kill herself he is at the park playing daddy to Jake and letting Liz play mommy to Emma. And, then he accuses her of cheating (which technically she did do though not in her right mind) and other things which lead to a supposed argument and he is at his breaking point??
I may not have a degree in medicine but I can pretty much guess that confronting a person you might think is suicidal is probably not a great idea.
I can watch the scenes with Robin and Jason because I don't think they would ever reconnect romantically but I think that the Patrick and Liz characters just might...he feels so maligned and she just wants to help. Ugh.
Writers on this show just really don't get it!! They should realize that when a show that has been around for 72 years like Guiding Light can go under that your show is not immune! Wake up before it's too late.
I stop watching this show when they inserted the Brad/Liz character in the PPD storyline .I cannot stomached the way Liz is acting with Patrick and the scene in the park where she is holding her bestfriend's little girl.
It is so sick and cruel the way they sensationalized the illness. Being #4 this week does not mean your show is safe.
Guiding Light's going under is an alarming sign for all soaps.
Viewers will not tolerate the garbage that they watch everyday.
GUZA...I'M A HUGE SCRUBS FAN! DO NOT BREAK UP SCRUBS!!! Keep Liz away from Patrick and if she's really such a good friend to Robin she'll know what to do
I JUST READ THAT PATRICK AND LIZ KISS. HERE GOES THE WRITERS AGAIN, TRYING TO SEE HOW FAR THEY CAN PUSH TO SCRUBS FANS. I AM BEGINNING TO DISLIKE LIZ. AS A WOMAN, SHE HAVE GOT TO KNOW WHEN TO BACK UP. THE WRITERS JUST DON'T KNOW THE MIND OF FANS, EVEN SOAP FANS, WHEN TO BACK AWAY OR WATCH THEIR FAN BASE GO AWAY.
WE WANT ROBIN AND PATRICK BACK TOGETHER NOW. NOW I AM READING IT COULD GO INTO MAY. IF AFTER ALL THIS WEEK ABOUT THIS BLOGS AND SPOILERS, AND NOTHING WITH THE SCRUBS. NO MORE DVR.
YOU WRITERWS JUST DON'T KNOW HOW LIZ FAN BASE IS GOING DOWN HILL AND ALSO PATRICK. BECAUSE I AM A ROBIN FAN FIRST. I AM A FAN THAT WANTS TO SCRUBS CONTRACT RE-SIGN AS A COUPLE. BUT IF YOU CONTINUE WITH THIS STUPID, SLEAZY, DOWN-RIGHT WORST SWEEP I HAVE SEEN. ALTHOUGH I UNDERSTAND PPD. I AM STILL DONE.
WTH????
Robin will suffer a relapse?
Is there going to be a conclusion to this PPD nightmare? Looks like the writers are dragging this story for their so-called May sweeps or perhaps until their Nov
sweeps.By time the saga ended all your viewers will be gone.
I guess it's not a surprise anymore the way the stories are being recycled.
Hey ,just saying with the worst economy we are having nothing is secure anymore .Guiding Light's going under is an alarming sign.
I've stopped "looking forward" to GH and Scrubs; I don't watch it anymore..but, keep up with the reading.
I just read that Frons owes his job to Guza and that is why he will never get fired. ABC will probably "cancel" GH ....just like GL...
I want Robin and Patrick to start a NEW show....their own....on ABC nighttime. Or, maybe Patrick can take over for Derek Shepherd of Grey's Anatomy. And, of course Robin will follow him to Seattle...
Port Charles and Rochester are just not cutting it anymore!
That's funny , because I was thinking something along those lines.
