Scrubs have no 3rd party influence coming up anytime soon
Can you share what scrubs will be doing?
[The PPD story winds down as the crisis ends. There was some talk about letting Kimberly possibly interact with a real PPD support group. I believe that's been decided against at this point but she adn Jason will both get PSA's from the story.
After that they begin an experimental treatment on Michael.
Gas continues to leak in the OR, but no one knows it.
Patrick realizes the worst has happened
Robin breaksdown
I'm really digging Patrick during this crisis. And his little grey edges are so sexy
YOU think so in these scenes ...........THEN..............just wait until you see his scenes when he's back with Kimberly and in their scenes. Can I suggest TONS OF BOXES OF TISSUES.
let just say the scenes of them on NS2 where he's crying with Robin on the sofa bed..................
will be forgotten when they share scenes again. TTTTB

JMO but I dont think Robin is going to be off screen
She isn't. Robin and Patrick are going to be dealing with Robin's recovery from PPD together. They will also deal with Patrick's guilt over not being there for both Robin and Emma when they needed him. Scrubs will also get to a good place and be happy.
Maxie, Johnny, Robin and Emma make it to the hospital. They learn about the biotoxins from Jax, as he stops them from going inside with Emma
Patrick is taken in by Agent Rayner, who won't give any details.
There is a reason that Scrubs and Liz are going to be neighbors although its not romantic.
Liz and Lucky will reconnect, soon and two interesting questions you should ask yourself are this. 1. Where do they live when they are back together? 2. Who gets the house they leave behind? The answer to at least one of these questions will surprise you.
As to Scrubs, NO they do not get happily ever after but there is no 3rd party(not in the a romantic sense) that causes problems.
Michael's trust in Robin and the secret of Dante, which Patrick knows and Robin doesn't, both lead to major problems for the couple. That will be there story leading into summer.
Hope that helps.
IS there plans to break them up (Scrubs that is)
Not as far as I know but they are going to be very much at odds in the spring.
Its definitely not happily ever after
But its a soap.
You don't get happily ever after.
There is no 3rd party though.
Micheal is coming back and he will trust Robin over anyone else? Lol, God, Carly will hit the roof.
Robin and Patrick work on an experimental treatment that might possibly wake Michael up.
To everyone's surprise it works.
Michael wakes up.
Robin is there.
No one else is.
That will play large through the first couple of months of Michael's recovery.
So, Guza is writing them so the the Scrubs fans demand an ending to them. I foresee a lot of unhappy Scrubs fans.
Scrubs fans are never happy.
So I'm sure the won't be about this either.
(No diss to a fanbase intended. This just seems to be a fact)
But, what I"m seeing is a huge story for SCrubs, lots of angst, no 3rd party.
I don't think it's that bad
But I'm sure people will be unhappy.
Please just your opinion do you think that Scrubs make it through this in tact?
I actually think they are safe until their contracts come up.
After all of this plays out, there really isn't a lot of time left to build a story about a break-up or a new romantic connection unless they take a second contract.
I don't know what will happen then though.
I believe the next love scene will be Robin/Patrick.
Not 100% sure of that thought but no one really has sex until this is over then R/P do get a love scene.
What is Robin doing once she, Maxie, and Johnny get to the hospital?
We're getting awfully specific here.
And this is the last one that is this specific thatI"ll answer but they start trying to move non-infected patients to a safer wing in the hospital.
She's involved in that when the fire breaks out.
KMc and JT get postive feedback from fans across the board, fans even like the PPD story but don't want Robin to be trashed in this story and are making themselves heard early it seems as a preventive measure.
Do you have any info?
Everything is pretty much on lock down. I wouldn't believe much that is coming out. But I do believe that Scrubs are the story.
GGCB
Is what you mentioned a month or so ago that will happen at the end of the hospital arc that should make scrubs fans stop worrying still happening
Yes
So are next week's explosions the end of the crises?
No there are fires afterwards and that is what people are escaping from the following week,
Liz cover for Patrick when he is caught lying to the FBI
^^ These are false.

General Hospital Explodes! There are various little round pictures.

Sneak Peeks
The quarantined population of the hospital grows desperate. Next Week: Numerous lives are in jeopardy at the hospital.
Robin and Emma Frozen Out
KMc says that there's something wrong with Emma and Robin decides to try and
take her to the hospital, but there's a snowstorm.
JT says that Emma has a fever. As far as Patrick knows Robin is at home and he should be there helping her, but he's obviously stuck at the hospital with the crisis.
JT says that Robin leaves him a message telling him Emma is sick and she's on her to GH. When he gets that message the power is down, so he can't get through to her because of the storm. So Robin doesn't know that GH is on lockdown and she won't be able to get in.
So not only does Patrick have the whole hospital and his brother to worry about, but his wife and child are on the road in a blizzard.
JT says it's just another layer to all of this. He's worried about her driving in the storm with Emma and if she does make it there, God forbid anything else happens, she is going to be turned away at the door.
Robin and Emma should be so lucky, that rickety minivan they're driving is on its last legs.
GH Explodes
Things go from bad to worse when an explosion tears through the tainted OR, endangering even more of the people trapped in the hospital.
JT says that it's the anesthesia that's leaking from the OR. One little spark and that gas goes up and explodes.
Patrick and the others who haven't been overcome by the biotoxin then have to deal with the resulting fires. JT says there are multiple explosions, because the gas has leaked into other rooms.
Patrick has so much going on, that he can't focus on one thing. There are the casualties in the OR that were colleagues of his, his brother was also in the room. Nobody who was in the room is doing very well, because of the biotoxin. And, on top of that, he gets word that Emma is sick and Robin is bringing her to GH.
Spinelli is convinced that Patrick and Jason shouldn't let the FBI near the toxic spheres. JT says no one trusts the FBI right now because they're just trying to cover their butts. They lost the biotoxin, now they just want to get it back and keep everything hush-hush.
Patrick says if one of those spheres caused all that damage, then he's got to get the rest of them out of the hospital before they cause more. So, it's a catch-22.
Someone, however, sneaks into the OR and steals one of the spheres.
Spinelli tries to take matters into his own hands and enters the OR himself. Spinelli tries to be the hero but it's not the right thing to do, says JT.
Because once he's inside, Winifred and the feds find him - just as the room explodes!

Emma is fine. Robin is missing,
I think Emma might be missing and Robin is fine and separated from patrick
No Robin goes missing in the second explosion. Emma is no where near it. She and Robin and Johnny and Maxie all get to the hospital.
Where is Emma?
Emma is in a part of the hospital not affected by any of this. The big drama with Emma is over by Monday February 9th. She is found in the mini-van and they all go to the hospital
Thanks but does Patrick think Robin is dead?
Later on she is among the missing.
When does Patrick think Robin is dead?
He doesn't think she is dead. She is among the missing.
So, while Robin is missing, Patrick is sitting in an interrogation room talking to Rayner instead of out looking for Robin?
He has no choice. They dragged him there.
Does he know that she is missing and Emma is in the hospital?
Yes and he knows Robin and Emma made it to the hospital. That happens early in the week Feb. 9. The second explosion is later in the week.
When do we catch up to the patrick/rayner scenes?
if you notice patrick has his coat on so he was trying to get out of there but fbi drags him there
Does he know that Emma is safe? TIA
Yes
1/29
I know no one will believe this because it doesn't fit into any agenda but it will be very clear to all that Patrick loves Robin. Most of the PPD arc is to cement Patrick's feelings for Robin. Robin is going to have other things going on very shortly, that have more to do with her past.
Liz is just the character, and one of many helping to give voice to Patrick's fears. Liz isn't what Patrick finds attractive, she is just the plot point for PPD that Robin feels intimidated by. It had to be another mother, and it sure wasn't going to be Carly.
Oh and anyone who believes Frons would pair Elizabeth with Patrick........well what can I say, you'd have to know Frons. He doesn't see that character as particularly appealing and she sure as hell isn't getting one of the shows leads.
Thank you for wading into this cesspool.I tried hopefully they will listen to you
Scrubs is GH's go to couple, and the PPD arc written as it is, is BG's best and that should explain all these little anvils, that are actually going nowhere where Liz and Pat are concerned.
Everyone has been told, but no one wants to accept that Scrubs and LL2 will be the two happy married couples for the show, it was felt after countless viewer complaints and the FG's (and no I don't know how specific characters did) that the show needed some positive family values represented to balance out the violence of the MOB. Oh wait hasn't that been dropped yet? Ah just wait and see and look to see what interviews will be coming out in the mags come Spring. Families reconnecting, and it ain't just LL2 or Scrubs. Johnny and Maxie find Emma in the van, alone. Robin tries to explain that she went for help, but Maxie notices something off in Robin's behaviour.
Patrick takes the blame for Matt.
The original breakdowns from the SB had this:
Thursday, Feb 5 - Johnny and Maxie find Robin but there's no sign of Emma. which is why people are trying to figure out what's happening.
Maxie/Johnny find Robin at the end of Thursday. It is in the last segment.
so what happens on Feb 6th?
Robin is out of it at first and then towards the end of the episode, a few minutes GH time, she says Emma is in the van.
Which because of GH's brilliant hour by hour storytelling will make it seem like she abandoned Emma in a car for three days. Thanks Bob.
By then we are past the hour by hour and into soap time so really after the toxin release is even slower than hour by hour.
The Scurbs board spoilers are accurate. The SOD spoiler is off by a day. Maxie/Johnny find out Emma is in the van at the end of the episode of Friday 2/6.
Patrick's guilt eats at him.
I assume the explosion is after the quarantine, so is the explosion next week or the week of February 9th?
Week of the 9th.
So to clairfy things who get sick and who doesnt my head is spinning here?
Tracy, Liz, Kate, Claudia, Lulu, Monica get sick. Leyla, Andy, Trevor,Earl die.
Matt is temporarily ill but recovers quickly enough to help.
Fans are excited about the Hospital and Scrubs getting a major storyline. KMc and Robin are getting a very positive response across the board.
That said, no matter the fan response, the story is going to be Sonny and Carly, Scrubs, the Z's will be phased out by May with only two Z's left on the show (and one of those isn't a Z at all), Jason is going to be with Sam in a working partnership with a love story to follow. Nik will end up with Rebecca, but not immediately. Not too many real changes in the works at all, just reshuffling and trying to bring back lost viewers.
Wednesday January 28:
Matt, Elizabeth, Monica and Leyla are in the OR as Earl's surgery begins.
Patrick checks out Earl's X-rays and then races to stop the surgery.
I am not an insider per se, but I have some information regarding the atmosphere surrounding GH these days and how it may relate to what is being dropped here. GH is basically locked down, with no outsiders being allowed past the front gate. Any information being released is being done so for a specific purpose. As has been said previously, people's jobs are on the line, and for those who want to stay employed, they're only spoiling what they've been told, and nothing more. So before you fall on your swords, wait to see what happens.
And for anyone who says Frons is going to do what he wants regardless... everybody has their Achilles Heel, even Frons.
Notice how choppy some of the scenes have been lately? Edits are happening daily; nothing is written in stone; extra scenes are being taped...much is left on the cutting room floor!
robin's life is on the line

good emotional scenes coming up for them, they are reunited shortly until the second explosion, robin disappear then. i repeat, two explosions; first one claudia, sonny and lulu disappear, second one robin.
Insider - how far out are the storylines now? Is the biotoxin crisis over? Has the hospital quarantine been lifted?
the quarantine wont matter much after the explosions, people will be everywhere. the crisis is not over as of now, they are have some quiet time though, the aftermath is the bigger story.
Also, not understanding what aftermath means? Can you explain further?
aftermath in this story is when the explosions stop and people on the outside can finally help some people because things appear to be calm, however that's just what they think, things will get messier.

JasonThompson on Mantalk with Bill and Brent
Archived podcast: Click here to listen
From the BuB:
- JT sounded exhausted but earnest. Did not say much about the upcoming plot.
- The hosts asked about Rick Springfield and he said Rick is great and tours every weekend. Told that Corbin Bernsen wants to come back and JT said they barely were there at the same time.
- Said he will not be at Broadway Cares.
- When asked if the casts discusses who is hotter him or the guy who plays Jason, he said they don't talk about that stuff -- the cast gets along and they make fun of each other.
- Every episode is an hour, things are going down!
- Host called NS Nightwatch. Not sure if there is a third.
- Talking about today's show being the one that starts the crisis.
- Asked if would be moving on to someone else besides Robin and he said that they have a two and a half year relationship and there is a long story left to tell.
- Said he likes to do love scenes and he does take off his shirt but not much in the winter.
- Asked who is shorter between Sam, Robin and Maxie and he said they are all within an inch of each other and then said all "four" are pretty much the same size. (Guess he threw in BH.) Asked if it hard to tape with such shorties and he said no. He uses the couch arm or other things to bring them closer to the same size. He sees the show sometimes and says he does not see his eyes when talking because of the difference but it never bothers him.
- The host says his wife predicts that Robin will pick up the baby when Emma is sick and JT said that does happen.
- Says that Robin will be outside the hospital stuck in the snowstorm.
- Gives away nothing about what happens in the plot.
- He did a promo for the man show and it was over. JT messed up the radio promo -- he has another interview coming up.
- It was a short, strange interview. One host watches the show with his wife and other was clueless. He was amazed at how many people were in the chat room for JT.

Odd little factoid related to nothing I've said before :-)
Anyone think it was strange that Carly finally acknowleged Robin's part in Michael's early life, this past week.
Strange how Guza just throws those things in for no reason isn't it?
Hope you guys can figure this all out now.
That's all
I'm gone.
Liz has scenes with Patrick tomorrow. There are no LL2 scenes until he rushes to her side end of the week.
Earl's accident is at the end of tomorrow. He is brought to GH on Wed. He is prepped for surgery and the chaos begins.
Thursday is Patrick removing everyone from the ER.
Can you give me an idea of how long until Patrick and Robin share scenes again after today?
Around 2.5 weeks
Thank you. Will they be on good terms?
It is in the middle of the aftermath of the toxin release. They don't sit down and have a long talk.
What happens to Emma?
Nothing besides getting left in the van for one part of one episode.
Kimberly McCullough gets support from Brian Frons and will get a story, airtime, and a limited point of view. She is a fan favorite.
Kimberly McCullough gets support from Brian Frons and will get a story, airtime, and a limited point of view. She is a fan favorite.
Monica becomes sick right away. She is not part of the health care team.
The characters aren't off in groups like they were during the B&W ball unless you count the OR/medical personnel and the quarantined group but only until people start dropping who are quarantined in the board room. Later after Maxie/Robin/Johnny/Luke/Ethan/etc all make their way to GH and people start trying to sneak in and such there will be another group not part of the quarantine since the whole hospital isn't under quarantine.
Robin isn't around because she doesn't get to the hospital until the 2nd week in February. And she doesn't get kicked out of administering medicine for her incompetence. She doesn't even really administer medicine as she's not in the quarantine area. She's involved with helping and assessing people to transfer to Mercy.
Johnny doesn't even know about the crisis at first because he's stranded in a garage with Maxie and then he's helping Maxie with Robin/Emma and getting them to GH. He's not desperate to get to her because she's ill.
Robin realizing she has a problem, agrees to treatment
Patrick agrees to look after Emma when Robin leaves town for a while
Liz lends a hand with Emma
Robin isn't leaving town. She and Patrick will work through the PPD together and be stronger in the end.
Robin/Maxie/Johnny have no idea about the bio-toxin being released at the hospital until they get there. Maxie/Johnny were hanging out drinking, Robin was trying to get Emma to the hospital. Maxie/Johnny find Robin and take her and Emma to the hospital and that is when they all find out about the crisis
Did you drop the latest spoiler list? The one with Robin leaving town?

Soapzone spoilers:
Patrick discusses PPD with Carly, who went through it with Michael’s birth, hoping it will shed light on what’s been wrong with Robin, who’s living in denial.
Carly assesses Patrick’s situation with Robin, then strongly advises him to get her treatment, now.
Elizabeth experiences Robin at her worst.
Patrick discloses his concerns about Robin and PPD with Elizabeth.
Elizabeth stays on the fence about a specific diagnosis – Robin may have PPD, but then again maybe she’s just overwhelmed as a first-time mom. That doesn’t do Patrick any good.
Robin bristles at Patrick’s growing concern, taking everything he does and says as an insult.
Matt offers to operate on the latest patient, instead of Patrick, who’s preoccupied with concerns about his PPD-suffering wife.
Matt makes the costly error of rushing to operate without first scanning this patient’s charts.
Patrick somehow does scan this patient’s (Earl’s) charts, his x-rays, and feels a cold chill rush over.
Patrick stares incredulously at Earl’s x-ray which points to five spheres stuck in the stomach region.
Jason rings Patrick up right at that moment, to relay Agent Rayner’s request to interrogate a suspected terrorist admitted to the hospital. His name is Earl Bragg.
Patrick absorbs more information, puts two and two together, drops everything and sprints to the OR to warn Matt and the scrub team.
Matt has already cut into Earl when he slices into one of the five spheres, which emits a deadly biotoxin into the atmosphere. It turns out that Earl swallowed these spheres containing biotoxins to destroy as many people as possible.
Patrick pounds on the OR window as he helplessly watches his brother Matt, Elizabeth, Monica, Leyla, and others in the scrub team breathe in the biotoxin. Matt hurriedly pushes his scrub team toward the exit doors, but they’re already compromised and the OR itself bursts into flames.
The biotoxin makes its way out of the OR into the other rooms, taking patients down as it goes.
Agent Rayner orders a hospital lockdown, nobody gets in and nobody can leave. He’s forced to remain on the outs.
Donning a hazmat suit, Patrick goes into the OR, where this started. He assists some in exiting, and those who are out cold.
Patrick examines Earl’s dead body to determine more about these biotoxins. Earl’s stomach acids destroy the rest of the spheres.
Next week: Robin should never have taken her delicate condition for granted

why can't GH get good writers? And who is writing Robins' story - I know it isn't Guza
I actually think its Frons. Or more specifically, someone in his office did the research for the PPD story and it went 'through' Guza to the breakdown and script writers who are doing a good job with the info. I think quite abit of the Scrubs story has come from Frons and went 'through' Guza rather than actually being written by Guza.
This show can do all it wants but nothing is going to bring back the audience that it has lost GH has killed off it's vets and has lost the heart of what GH once was period. Any pairing at this point ain't going to save them period there is no effort in the pairings now nor will ever be.
I think TPTB agree with ya. so thats why Scrubs is up front and center and others couples are being swapped around.
IF you notice less and less of Maurice and Steve THAT WILL BE THE TELL TALE sign that mob is limited now and COUPLES are the way they writers are told to go.
Time will tell, time will tell.
Robin reaches her breaking point
1/25
Scrubs are fine.
Patrick is sitting there talking to Agent Raynor knowing that Robin, Emma and Matt may very well be dead. Obviously they aren't.
When you see how they are discovered to be alive, you'll know exactly how -'platinum' Scrubs are.
Is that a good thing for Scrubs fans?
YES!
The things posted here can be amusing but every once in awhile you guys do get it right.
What you are seeing at GH right now is 75% BF and 25% BG. That is what is happening and has been happening since the latter part of Sept. Changes were implemented at that time and writers were given a short period to accomplish those changes.
Once last comment, there are always numerous drops made about FG's here and on other boards. That is the most amusing thing of all, the actual data from FG's is only given out to a select few. Even actors and actresses aren't given breakdowns of info, instead they are sometimes told they did well, seldom are they told if they were received badly. The very last amusing thing is that couples, which generate so much conversation here, and at other boards, are seldom evaluated as separate entities. BF has also often acted against what these FG's promote as "positive fan interest" regardless if it is about a storyline or actress or actress or the rare couples.
Do you have any spoilers?
This is the only thing I'm going to tell you and then I'll be leaving the board (as last time I was here someone biggypacked my drops). This pre-sweeps bio-toxin tease is not indicative of changes coming to GH. The only thing that will change what is occuring on GH is if viewers tune out. Patrick and the hospital look to be a huge focus of the upcoming story, but GH is and will continue to be about the MOB, Sonny and Jason and the people in their lives.
Viewer complaints about the lack of love stories and romance are to be addressed with Scrubs and the return of LL2. These couples will be your couples. The younger set and the will they, won't they stories will be the love story angst with the Mob and those involved being the primary focus.
That is what you will see. I understand that many won't believe that, that is a good thing, but watch what is actually on your screens and then remember that you were warned.
MMWatGH
It was felt the show needed to have at least some "perceived" happy families on the show, even it they are only a backdrop. Scrubs will be drawing both their families into their story and will drive secondary storylines on the show. LL2 will undoubtedly have much less airtime but they will be shown to be a "happy family" this along with periodic stories involving the hospital and the "families" to even include occasionally the Q's are hoped to satisfy fans on those fronts.
MMWatGH
I love people talking about Scrubs being platinum and how great their storyline is? Has it or their wedding done anything for ratings? No I didn't think so as they did nothing for NS2 also,
The show has been about the mob for the last decade, and because of that the show has lost boat loads of viewers. Why would you think a wedding for a "B" couple would bring in ratings? As far as NS2, if you would like to share ratings, then share. The ratings were not published. NS1 lost more then half of their viewers due to storyline line decisions & basically pulling a bait & switch on viewers. TPTB realize that now, and unfortunately for them, not all the viewers came back to NS2.
As far as Scrubs being golden, that has nothing to do with ratings. It has to do with the fact that TPTB have no current plans to end them. This crisis story is not the beginning of the end as people like to say it will be. I understand fans of other couples may not like this. But this is just how it is. Their "platinum" status can change at the drop of a hat, but for now it is what it is.
Patrick knows everyone who was in the boardroom. He is in charge of quarantining them.
thank you
No need to thank me. I have no idea how this idea of "golden" or "platinum" got mixed up with ratings. It simply means they are pretty much the only couple on the show that TPTB see as a solid couple. That doesn't mean Scrubs will get airtime, or a great story or anything their fans may want. It means their status as a couple is solid.
That's all
IA. Thank you. I don't think Scrubs is a B couple on GH. I would say the A couples are (or were): Scrubs, Skate, CarJax, JoLu. Everyone else would be a B (or even C) couple.
They are a "B" couple, so is CarJax in the minds of the TPTB. Carly, however, is an "A" character. Scrubs airtime & storyline concentration never came close to Skate or JoLu. Yet they always perform better with the audience. Maybe their lack of airtime might help them.
Thanks-when does he find out Robin and Emma are missing?
Emma and Robin aren't missing for very long. Maxie/Johnny finds Robin and then Maxie/Johnny/Robin get to the van. All make it to the hospital where only part of the hospital is quarantined.
Patrick doesn't think his family is missing. Robin and Emma make it to the hospital by early ihe first week of February. He doesn't even know they got caught in the snow. There is a question after the fire about who survived but Emma is not part of that question. Robin is.
I'm confused. The first week of February is when Robin is cracking up and when she/Emma get in the van though.
Sorry. Meant the second week. I misspoke.
Can you say what the deal is with Robin being found in the snow and Emma being missing? Is she in the van, and where is Robin? Right outside the van or a ways away?
Emma is in the van because the van broke down and Robin had to go try to find help. The van isn't right next to her but it isn't that far away.
The airducts in the OR are mistakenly connected to the boardroom, which is why those two places are compromised, and why the people in each of those rooms are quarantined. The rest of the hospital should be okay...except the fire supposedly spreads to the 10th floor nurses station.
The gases that are released that eventually ignite to catch the nurses hub on fire start getting released this week. The fire isn't until later. Like every episode up through January 28 is one hour the episodes following are over a short but not defined time period.

Toxic ball guy doesn't come in until the end of Tuesday
maybe we should wait and see how it plays out.
I am telling you toxic ball guy doesn't come until the end of Tuesday. Sam gets into the wreck after she and Lucky end it because she is upset.
Patrick's questioning Robin at work? Huh?
Badly worded. He questions Robin while he is at work and she is at home. He doesn't leave work and she doesn't leave home.
is this a fact or based on specs we have here
Fact.
its says robin tells him to 'back off' when he questions her behavior at work..to me that sounds as if she's at the hospital and he questions her behavior..
She is not. It is badly worded. Robin doesn't make it to the hospital until the second week in February.
In light of the sweeps schedule for this year, the scheduled dates for the new March Sweeps will run from March 5 to April 1. Please note, the next sweeps, what we've always referred to as May Sweeps, will remain the same and run from April 23 to May 20.
The Robin and Patrick storylines are generating most of the positive buzz. Fans are very happy with them being the focus. Disgruntled fans continue to complain about the MOB and the violence.

I think you will all be surprised at what does and doesnt play out next week and the weeks following regardless of how spoilers are worded.

Be grateful if your favorites are not sick from the toxins because that means you will be seeing a lot of them. The sick ones are a way for RG, to not do much with those characters. Monica, Liz, Leyla, Trevor and Kate.
People just haven't been paying attention, instead think these are testings between new couples, etc. Everyone Patrick is having "poignant" scenes may be WTF, but these are all the characters who will most be affected during the toxin arc.

Patrick tries to stop a catastrophe at the hospital.

" I need to know if Robin and Emma are ok"
This is all I know. I won't answer any follow ups. I'm posting against my better judgement.
1. Guza was in the office today.
2. CC's downgrade came from NL's insecurities...plus the contract was up Feb. 8.
3. Olivia will be a contract role soon.
4. Sonya Eddy will likely be back on recurring within 6 months.
5. Those about to enter contract negotiations are going to have a much more difficult go of it than those that just re-signed.
6. Monthly minimums are going over better than initially believed.
7. My supervisor was on the phone with Sweeney today for about half an hour. May have been about the restructure that was announced a few hours later.
8. Frons is very pleased with this crisis storyline.
9. Talks with Rao are at a stalemate.
10. I am the best insider you have.

[the media release about the merging of ABC's division/units] It means Sweeney is much more involved in the television unit of Disney and they will do anything to save money. Control of ABCD could easily be taken.
BUBINSIDER
Guza will get a CO-HW before he his let go.
High ups are waiting to see how the ratings for phase II of the crisis goes before acting.
Will there be any other actors let go?
I don't know of any confirmations, but payroll for Feb is smaller, than Jan, and Mar. is forecasted to be smaller than Feb. April forecasts aren't due until Jan 30.
BUBINSIDER
Thanks. And would you attribute this to not working the performers so far beyond their minimums or contract roles being released?
All of the above, plus they are using less and less of their recurring characters.
I don't have storyline info, but everyone is talking about how great the performances are during Phase II. Frons is very happy with those episodes and sees this week as a solid build up. Read more...

Does Robin Need Help?
This week, Patrick seeks help for Robin's PPD, because she won't.
JT says that Patrick is worried about the way Robin has been acting. He's stuck between going with his gut reaction, that she does indeed have PPD and wondering if it's just what the books say, that she's got the 'baby blues.'
Patrick suggested she talk to someone but she's not willing to do it. Robin feels it's all just a normal reaction to a stressful life.
She doesn't want to talk about it, so Patrick seeks out the help of others. Carly went through it, so he talks to her about it and she basically tells him that he should address it before it's too late.
Patrick consults Liz after she has a run-in with a volatile Robin, but that only leaves him confused. JT says that Liz is somewhere in the middle with her advice, she tells him it's their first child, they just moved but maybe there's something more to this.
But Robin can't take anymore of his worrying. JT says she's getting annoyed with his hovering. She thinks he feels like she's the one who needs the babysitter, not Emma!
Toxic Terror!
JT says that it's high stakes drama as people are trapped inside the hospital, and the people who know anything about the toxin are outside. Patrick and the others realize they're on their own.
It all starts with a patient. JT says that as Patrick is about to leave the hospital a patient comes in with internal bleeding. Matt tells him to go home to his wife and kid, he'll take care of it and goes into surgery without checking the X-rays. Patrick takes a quick glance at the X-rays and notices there's something off with them. There are five little balls in the patient's stomach.
Then Patrick gets a call from Jason, telling him Agent Rayner wants to question the patient, Earl Bragg about terrorism. JT says that Patrick finds out that Earl has ingested biotoxins. Patrick tries to stop the surgery, but he's too late. They're cutting into Earl and when they cut him, one of the little spheres gets nick and releases a gas into the OR.
Matt tries to get his operating team, Liz, Monica, Leyla and the rest of them, out but the toxin quickly overcomes everyone, as Patrick is watching on, in horror from the observation room.
JT explains that they try to contain but slowly realize that it hasn't been fully contained. It's rippling throughout the hospital and finding its way into other rooms. People are slowly succumbing to the effects of the gas in different areas and they're not sure how or why or how to help.
Agent Rayner is on the phone, outside the hospital. There's a lot that's not being told to Patrick, which frustrates him. Even Rayner isn't sure how to handle things. They're not sure of the extent of the damage, so they have to lock down the hospital. No one gets in or out. Quarantine the area.
Patrick puts on a hazmat suit and enters the OR. When he's trying to get people out, some are responsive, some are not. Matt is definitely one who is affected.
Patrick is consumed by guilt and tries to learn what he can from Earl's corpse. When he takes out the four remaining balls, the membrane casing on them has been compromised by Earl's stomach acid. One of those things caused this much damage, now multiply it by four, and they could be dealing with a huge, huge crisis. It could get a lot, lot worse.
And it does...
