1/19 Heard in the Waiting Room

  • Serial Drama has barely concealed hatred for GH's definition of the "wild" days of Patrick and the huge height difference between Steven and Patrick
  • Ali from Habitat for Humanity promises the professional pictures from the GH build will be out by Monday, so I'll keep posting until then. However, I'll continue to be on twitter (unless it becomes too distracting), so follow me there!

1/16 Heard in the Waiting Room

  • Dear readers - Michelle and I have decided to shut down The Scrubs Hub due to work commitments. I will keep the site going until the professional pictures from Habitat for Humanity come in, I thought that would be a fitting last post for the website - the combination of GH and charity. Michelle has been awesome to work with and I'm so glad she gave the site an 8 month extension of time. Thank you again to all our readers who frequented the site.
  • Nancy Lee Grahn (the ringleader), Sarah Brown, Brandon Barash, LisaLoCicerogh, John Ingles, Stephen Nichols, and Alison Sweeney will be at the Rose Bowl today at 3pm to help collect monetary donations for Haiti. They were recruited by KNBC reporter Angie Crouch, who is a GH fan herself.
  • Despair in the Afternoon is wondering if Lisa's interest in Patrick will turn into a fatal attraction
  • Serial Drama has noticed there's a lot of plaid going on in the Scorpio-Drake family
  • Executives at Disney and ABC are mulling the option of moving 'The View' into Oprah's timeslot once she goes off-air or into General Hospital's timeslot and move GH to another time

The Serial Drama girls were full of warm, fuzzy feelings towards All My Children for exactly 24 hours, thanks to the cast being so adorable, sweet and smart at the New York Times "AMC At 40" panel Mallory attended. (Serial Drama)

Goodbye Franco, hello Helena! The Wubqueen writes to Bob Guza about the whole Franco-Fiesta and can't wait for Connie Towers to return to the set of General Hospital in February. (Wubs)

1/14 Heard in the Waiting Room

  • Serial Drama doesn't get why Patrick has been so pissy with Steve Webber
  • Port Charles Chuckles doesn't understand either, but loved the adorable Scrubs goodbyes
  • Addicted to GH loves that for once the writers are doing right by the characters in the 3rd party story with Scrubs, there is no character assassination and Scrubs get to play to their strengths - their love for each other

Soap talk across the internet ...

  • There's an old theater adage that says drama should be life without the boring parts. For webisodic soap operas, that saying holds true more than ever before. Daytime Confidential's Jamey reviews Gotham the Series. (Daytime Confidential)
  • It featured too much recent history and far too many mentions of Babe, but even so, the Serial Drama girls loved the AMC 40th Anniversary show. How could they not adore something that brought us Palmer, Brooke, Jackson and tons of footage of terrible 80s hairstyles? (Serial Drama)
  • A new decade challenges the genre known as the soap opera. The heartbreaking routine of the demise of ratings and the cancellation of so many of our favorites during previous decades seems to be a soaps saga as repetitive as evil twin syndrome but it has become far too real for my taste. (Soap Opera Examiner)
  • The Wub Tub: Sunday Surgery takes a look at Lulu on a bomb, Sam on a box and Carly stalked by a Fox. Alberta Wubs goes to the Rose Bowl! Catch spoilers for the beginning of 2010 and more. (Wubs)
