Soap talk across the internet ...

  • Guiding Light and One Life to Live star Gina Tognoni dishes about her "exciting" return to One Life to Live with Daytime Confidential. (Daytime Confidential)
  • This week the Pine Valley Bulletin takes on the "big reveal" of Stuart's killer. *yawn* (Pine Valley Bulletin)
  • This week at The Scrubs Hub we have one simple question for you: What will happen next for Robin & Patrick? (Scrubs Hub)
  • The Serial Drama girls are longstanding Jonathan Jackson fans, but think it will take some time to adjust to him as Lucky again. No amount of time, however, will make them adjust to his beard. (Serial Drama)
  • Claudia's time is clearly running out of time in a big way these days in Port Charles...Sigh, if f I had a TRIGGER button on my remote control, Claudia would have been a done deal month's ago. (Soap Examiner)
  • Sunday Surgery finds the Wubqueen pondering the blow-ups offering clues to the Franco mystery. Could it really be all about Alkazar--AGAIN? What do you think? (Wubs)

What will happen next for Robin & Patrick?

There's been much discussion on what TPTB at General Hospital have in store for Scrubs in the coming year. Rightfully so considering they really haven't had a story for months now. The recent casting of Lisa (Julie Mond) as Patrick's ex-girlfriend is raising questions like: Will she be a 3rd party to come between Robin & Patrick? Is she just a plot point in order for Scrubs to focus on what they do best and that's internal angst? Is she a psycho coming to wreck havoc on their lives? There are so many possibilities and no answers as her air-date continues to draw near.

We're curious what everyone is thinking on the topic, so take the poll and comment in this post and let us know what you think is going to happen with Patrick, Robin and ... the newest interloper!

    • Lisa is a psycho hell bent on making Patrick pay for his former womanizing ways
    • Lisa is definitely the 3rd party in this impending triangle
    • Lisa will be a brief plot point in order for Scrubs to focus on their internal issues
    • Lisa and Patrick were once married and never divorced which makes Robin & Patrick's marriage invalid
    • Lisa is a guzafied experiment which will fail miserably no matter the arc
    • None of the above

    Soapnation iparticipate volunteer event

    Created with Admarket's flickrSLiDR.

Attendees: Kelly Monaco, Lexi Ainsworth, Aaron Refvem, Brandon Barash, Lisa LoCicero, Dominic Zamprogna , Jane Elliot, Leslie Charleson, Kent King, Haley Pullos, Megan Ward, and Carolyn Hennesy

Location: Ramona Elementary near Prospect Studios

I was around a few of the actors and had a couple fun things to share

    • E! News was at the event, look for some coverage on the network soon
    • The event was a great combination of Soapnation fan volunteers, Disney VoluntEARS, and City Year volunteers
    • Carolyn Hennesy and Leslie Charleson were like pro painters, they got their assignments done in record time!
    • Carolyn Hennesy makes a mean meatloaf
    • Leslie Charleson only signed onto the show for 2 years and is going on 32 years
    • Aaron Refvem has a great voice and belts it out on the high notes (I think we need karaoke for kids) and just learned how to do a back flip!
    • Haley Pullos loves the color pink
    • Megan Ward came out and had her lunch with her fans
    • Megan's daughter is dressing up as Annie, Megan will be Miss Flannagan, and Megan's husband will be Daddy Warbucks. Megan's son rebelled and is an action hero (I think)

    Soap talk across the internet....

Daytime Confidential's Jamey Giddens interviews The Young and the Restless star Wilson Bethel. They talk about his role as Ryder, working with Sean Kanan and Greg Rikaart and Generation Kill. (Daytime Confidential)

Kimberly McCullough and Jason Thompson's General Hospital Scrubs Team raised $44,878.10 and walked for AIDS Walk LA last weekend, and are currently in top positions individually and as a team. Check out the great pictures from the event! (Scrubs Hub)

Elizabeth Webber's polka dot cardigan has been the sole highlight of GH this week, which has led the Serial Drama girls to wonder if the show should change its name to "Stupid people doing terrible things in an uninteresting fashion." (Serial Drama)

The extended dragged out "Stu-Murder" mystery is driving me up a wall. On top of all of this, the totally irritating promo ABC continues to run about the real murderer being revealed has been way over done and frankly, it's turning my hair gray. (Soap Opera Examiner)

Great weekend for Wubs! AIDS Walk LA, scoops, tweets and news are all up in the Sunday surgery. (Wubs)

POZ Fundraiser for Aids Walk LA

Last nights POZ fundraiser for Aids Walk Los Angeles, at h.wood, was such a fantastic time! It was nice to see so many actors/performers take the time to stop by and greet the fans and support such a worthy cause. For a $25 cover, fans were able to mingle with their favorite stars from: Days of Our Lives, The Bold and the Beautiful, Y&R, One Life to Live and General Hospital/GH: NightShift. Speaking of GH, they had such a great turnout in: Greg Vaughan, Lisa Locicero, Brandon Barash, Lexi Ainsworth, Matt Borlenghi, Adam Grimes, Carrie Southworth and Amanda Baker. All eager to mingle with fans and have a blast! Not only were they busy chatting and taking pictures, but this group of individuals were some of the last to leave the party.

Most people know that Matt Borlenghi is going to be taking on a new role with General Hospital as the newest member of the Cassadine family, but he's already made his mark with us. When he walked into the event the first thing he did was pay the cover!

Greg Vaughan was so humbled by all the recent fan support. He is eagerly awaiting the arrival of his second child with wife Touriya Haoud and says their son, Jathan, can't wait to hold the new baby.

It was also nice to see NightShift alums Adam Grimes, Carrie Southworth and Amanda Baker (also ex-Babe, AMC). Carrie will be walking in this Sunday's Aids Walk and Amanda will be appearing in the returning CBS Comedy, Rules of Engagement in January of 2010.

Thanks again to everyone who came out to lend their support. What a unique opportunity for fans to spend time with their favorite daytime stars. We hope to see many of you at this years Aids Walk Los Angeles this Sunday, October 18th.

You can check out photos from the event at Steven Bergman Photography.

      • Kimberly McCullough and Jason Thompson had personal appearances in New York City last weekend and we've got an exclusive library of photos from the Brokerage event! (Scrubs Hub)

      • The Serial Drama girls learned the hard way that watching current episodes of All My Children will make you hate your favorite characters, the writing staff, your television set and your immune system. (Serial Drama)

      • There is something to be said for older characters, who bring so much wisdom to various storylines on the soaps. As the World Turns does this well, and nowhere was it more evident then when Lucinda and Emma tried to reach their daughters regarding their love lives. (Soap Opera Examiner)

      • Here is something more rare than Monica's screen time on GH: The wubqueen actually really, REALLY enjoyed a show. Check it out and get your "Lukealikes" on! (Wubs)

Jason and Kimberly at Uncle Vinny's/Ferrara's Cafe

      Pictures: aheathergh35,

      The Backup Board
      • Kmc made some sort of gesture which she thought JT understood. He says he didn't and she told him she would tell him later. Which, he said that's not fair, share with the class (in a mocking tone). And, she said again- I'll tell you later.
      • He joked with her about this race car driver that Kmc did/didn't date in the past. I didn't really understand the whole conversation.
      • Sometimes, I feel like they know exactly what the other is saying so they speak in so little words, but it makes it confusing being an outsider trying to figure it out. And, i'm sure that's the point.
      • And, for all those who say JT needs to eat a sandwich. Um, NO. The man is fine the way he is. He is actually broader and a bit bulkier than I expected.
      • They said they re-signed. I am assuming GH. I don't think their contract is with ABC per se. Kimberly did say that she would love to direct on AMC but I didn't get the impression that was part of her deal. She looked surprised when the question was asked.
      • Based on Jason's answer to my question, they don't have alot coming up because of all the other stories currently going on -- and the little Jasam stuff they had is already done.
      • My impression is that JT wants to spread his wings a little bit and get out of his comfort zone. He talked about maybe doing some plays and Kimberly has been encouraging him to do stuff like that. She is extremely busy with other things. And I think that the way the show is using them right now allows them to do stuff they enjoy outside of the show. My impression is that they don't have alot of story right now, but if they signed on they would get a story. Being that they only just signed back on, and with all the other stories going right now and knowing that they haven't really been taping alot and didn't forsee that changing, that whatever "story" they have won't begin until after the first of the year.
      • She just finished a pilot GNO with Kent, Minae and Sonya. She is writing alot too. She sounds pretty busy despite not having alot of work on GH right now.
      • Not much to add that everyone didnt say. Kim said that Louise was leading somewhere she just didn't know where. They shot the opening two weeks ago. Kimberly quipped that Jason did his in two takes since he's a model and it took her like 50 tries. She finally asked them them to tell her what she was doing wrong.
      • The scenes in the penthouse where they caught Jasam walking down the stairs, Kimberly said that was the day that Kirsten took the picture of Steve without his shirt and she tried to get one of Jason without his shirt but he ran down the hallway. Jason made the comment "like I would want to stand next to Steve without my shirt".
      • Kimberly said karoke was more the actors acting like themselves and not their characters. Laura's dance was hers and not Carly's. Steve kept telling Jason not to look at him while filming the Karoke scenes but once they stopped filming he would crack up.
      • The crowd booed when Kimberly mentioned that Becky and Jason would look good together.
      • Couldn't say how long they resigned for.
      • Jason mentioned how they cracked up everytime they said the word "balls" in the toxic ball story line and Kimberly said Kemo got the nickname K-balls after that storyline.

      • Pics first. Q and A last.
      • Jason sounded a little raspy when she was with them, maybe has a cold?
      • Had fun doing Karaoke. Won't dance, sick and drinking coffee, not alcohol. Kimberly did jiggy dances for us.
      • Both resigned contracts meaning they are staying but don't know how long. Kimberly may perform on DWTS, not a contestant. Jason was asked to be on DWTS.
      • Jason thought costume looked sexy on Kimberly when she wore i
      • Jason talked to Greg and he is looking forward to spending time with his kid. He is optimistic and going to auditions. Greg came on set to say goodbye to cast and crew.
      • GNO ladies did a reality series. Kimberly wrote several pilots.
      • Can't tell us how long contracts are for and she tried to find out.
      • Just got a memo at GH re: facebook and twitter.
      • They hope Rick and Finola come back but they don't know.
      • They like being happy doing normal everyday things for Patrick and Robin
      • Some of Jason's favorite scenes are with babies. Kimberly's pants part of Halloween costume, flash gordina. Jason wore wedding ring home one weekend. Kimberly takes it off right away!
      • Regarding contracts, they said they would get in trouble if they said how long length of contract is.

      Soap talk across the internet....

ABC soaps had a crazy casting week last week. Tune in to hear Luke, Jamey, Regan and Belinda discuss all the comings and goings, including: James Franco, Jonathan Jackson, Beth Ehlers, Thorsten Kaye, Susan Lucci and Greg Vaughan. ( Daytime Confidential)

There's plenty about All My Children to be negative about. But there are also positives too. In an effort to accentuate those positives, I propose my own Top Ten Reasons Why I Love AMC. Share the love and tell us what your Top Ten Reasons are! (Pine Valley Bulletin)

The Serial Drama girls have decided that General Hospital is really good at something: being inconsistent. The last two Mondays' episodes couldn't have been more different in terms of quality (and amount of karaoke). (Serial Drama)

There is something to be said for older characters on the who bring so much wisdom to various storylines on the soaps. As the World Turns does this well and nowhere was it more evident today when Lucinda and Emma tried to reach their daughters regarding their love lives. (Soap Opera Examiner)

On this week's We Love Soaps podcast, Suzanne Rogers talks about how she landed the role of Maggie on DAYS and why her character has come back into prominence this year. (We Love Soaps)

Woo-wee! Could we have a more wild week in soap news? The Wubqueen dishes it all plus Carolyn Hennesy news, and Team ScrubsWubs LA Aids walk info. (Wubs)
